I triple checked the worker name and it's ok. I starting to think it's my connection. the pool is stratum-only. you should install stratum mining proxy to mine at my pools with reaper. though i'd recommend cgminer as it has built-in support for stratum and those latest versions arent any slower than reaper is. I'm having some problems with dontmineme pool, the miner keep disconnecting by itself after some time mining.

I did the calcs and at 1 WDC is .02LTC which is .027BTC that's equivalent to .00054btc, even cnc in tank mode is at .00083. It's at least as good as cnc due to the fast transaction and better than cnc with regards to the fact it isn't dead yet. So buying them up at .00054btc is a pretty good bet. Now if it does a yac, or bbq it won't be good, but if it opens at .003 liked CNC on exchange...going to be interesting. Because if it does that, my 300 WDC is almost 1 BTC!

This coin looks very promising with these fast transactions, network hash rate is increasing steadily, just don't put it on exchange too soon it will ruin it. I'm holding on to the mined coins for now. Let's see what happens ;]
Hang on, what your saying is don't use the coin for trade, just mine it. What's the point? Being on an exchange is the start of trade, how else do you expect the general public to get a feel for how fast transactions with this coin are? I mean that's the big party trick isn't it? If you are not solo mining then you don't need the worldcoin.conf file.
I deleted it after the pools pop up, and getting 7 conections right now.

If the address is invalid, you are right. But, if the address is valid but no controlled by anyone, it's gone. Someday somebody will create a new address and he will get the free LTC. |

Agreed. A good coin, speaks for itself. Doesn't need large giveaways, and flashy sigs, ect, ect. YAC made it to an exchange, because it was inovative. It brought something new. Yes, within few weeks miners increased dramatically for the profitability of mining business.
How miners destroying coins:
With the help of coinchoose.com we know instantly which coin is profitable. So, maximum miners start mining that profitable coin. For huge hash rate within few days the difficulty increased and makes this coin less profitable. So, they switch to another coin and this coins goes inactive/dead for less/no confirmations.
Early adopters and pre-miners also decreasing the coins rate on exchange.
Solution:
1. We have to increase the marketplace of every coin.
2. We have to set the new difficulty formula.
3. We have to stop making scam coins.
If we fail every coins rate will be the equal of our mining cost. So, we need a good community to save these coins.

You have people mining BTC and LTC always, because these are trusted coins. Other like FTC or CNC were a mine and dump, and nobody trust on them now. If the coin si strong and sticks, it should always have miners. |
