I have 500k coins that I bought, been staking for 2 days and nothing, I must have awful luck  You should definitely hit few blocks with that amount everyday, are you sure your wallet is staking? Check your pos weight and estimated time to hit pos blocks in green signal near network display in your wallet! |

I'm bought 40k GSM at price 1300-1500 and now price still go down
i have plan to make discount for unlocking phones, that will probably help demand for GSMcoins to be made on exchanges, as we only accepts GSMcoins for unlock. But that process will be long, so do not espect spikes of the price on exchanges, exept if anyone wants to unlock a bunch of phone at once. Another way to sell your coins at good price is to offer someone to unlock his phone, you will pay me GSMcoins, and he will pay you fiat or btc. Did anyone use your unlocking service yet? I wanna read some reviews so i can talk to friend of mine who owns a phone shop and need to unlock few phones everyday for his customers. Is it possible on UK network locked phones? |

My staking is working now Does the weight depend on the amount of coins in your wallet? Yep, it does for now. For future reference dev team is looking to make pos reward more fairer and possible for low balance wallet to stake often so more people will have incentive to stake and keep the wallet open which helps secure network as well. |

Is it true that the dev has already abandoned this coin? That would be a record surely, less than 3 weeks after launch? i dunno yet, because theres no news or update about this coin.. maybe we need to wait it, and its so unimaginable abandoning this coin in 3 weeks...is that even possible? I want to be clear and straightforward with everyone regarding the state of BitBean.
YES, the dev has abandoned us it appears. He tried to push an update two days ago, which had a checkpoint that had already passed, along with other issues.
This update would have caused multiple forks in the network.
The Dev did push revert changes to github to fix the issue and go back to the previous version.
As of that point, he has not responded to any messages, and has removed himself from the coin.
I will be updating more later today as I discuss some things with a few other community members and we decide a full course of action.

Im not defending dev in anyway who left his project like this but i believe his intention was not to mine and dump. I was excited to see this project succeed but that didnt work out. Currently four guys are volunteering on project, BitBeaner (irc handle), and Tuwie (community manager) are handling the main programming and some other guys are helping out on web design and other stuffs including myself. New announcement with more details will post here soon.

Since dev left the project, we community members are stepping up and working on the coin right now.. Expect website to be up soon and then wallet update will follow. Its in our hand to take this coin forward now, so everyone be patience and wait for updates.
