I'm still having problems with this wallet, when i use this conf file i get an error message when starting, something to do with -server mode and entering username and password!

You might need to add to your conf file. rpcuser= rpcpassword= Add your own values to each after the = are you using the right wallet/source? I know the first one I had downloaded was wrong, there was a bitbeans and bitbean source, the latter being the correct one. Thanks but its still not working, i'm using this version i downloaded from this thread v1.0.0.0-g32a928e But it's not got the error now i've used rpcuser= rpcpassword= But its still not connecting, i've also tried using connect=ipaddress's , cleared out peers.dat files every time i tried something new. I've never had so much hassle from one wallet. I'll try again tomorrow, But thanks for your help and suggestions! check antivirus or firewall setting and make sure bitbean qt is allowed to connect to the internet. |

When does pos start?
POS only will start after 10000 blocks as far as i can remember, but the you can already stake what you've mined. Not sure if its a pos or not but already started staking from my balance worth 1000 coins each block. |

Hey just out of couriosity , can I solo mine this with wallet and antminer s1 ?
I've not done a solo mine with wallet so that part is still new to me .
You can solo mine coin as long as your hash power is powerful enough to find you a block. You need to set rpcuser (your receiving wallet address) and rpcpassword (anything) in your BitBean .conf file first and set same user password in your mining config file and start mining. |

open %appdata% fol;der , look for bitbean , then open note pad and add rpcport=22461 port=22460 daemon=1 server=1 addnode=node.minerpools.com addnode=90.205.32.146 addnode=97.94.208.17 addnode=86.108.64.113 addnode=109.92.74.145 addnode=96.52.55.51 addnode=109.192.127.133 addnode=100.4.165.154 addnode=95.215.44.248 To note pad and name it bitbean.conf , then save to desktop as all files type , then just move that .conf file to the bitbean folder you opened up from the roaming folder and open the wallet and it should work , Trust me I just did it a few minutes ago cos i had same problem. windows tends to create a .txt file instead of .conf. make sure you are saving it as "other" and not a text file. or you end up with bitbean.conf.txt +1 I dont know why some guys are struggling to connect but it was just easily connected on my pc with simple conf file.. If anyone want a .conf file ready i can send you through email or teamviewer, let me know!! Cheers! |

You cant rent a rig as this is not normal x11 and pool mining coin.. I'm not aware of any renting rigs available for SPR so far so you have to have your own gpu farm or you can mine with cpu. There are no public pools available for SPR, which is unique here in spr network, only DECENTRALIZE mining!! Cheers |

I'm looking forward to what this brings and the new mining algo. yeah right, count me in too, if it is earlz than i can rest assure that there is not a sleezy trick as hidden premine for this coins definitely in is this earlz so good? because basically i dont really like new altcoin, incase i just mine the new altcoin just to get some quick cash, but if this earlz guy is good then it will be a different story Earlz is a good guy for sure... he does code review for many alt coins so from point of coding view this coin must be a top one, will see the rest once coin launches.  |
