1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Altcoin on: March 03, 2017, 10:03:06 PM
to buy the altcoin with btc or with money?
cmon bitcointalk community.... is that hard to see that bitcoin is money?
there's no difference... at least i dont see any. it's just a different pair("alt"xbtc / "alt"x"fiat")
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ArabianChain - DubaiCoin (DBIX) - Smart Contracts from Dubai to the World on: March 03, 2017, 09:59:17 PM
sorry but that rate seems a little "overpriced".
i really like dbic, and i was looking for the swap... but, if 1dbix = 10dbic = ~250k satoshis or 3.2 dollar each.

to a "new" coin with unlimited supply, it's a lot. i think i'll probably sell my dbic's at current price and will mine dbix..

yes this is a scam people waited all these days to only announce the day of the swap!

This is the biggest scam ever! there is not project, is all bullshit! People sell your coins,...I have sold mine! goodbye for ever!

any proof to support what you are claiming?
you're spaming this for days, still nothing more than "it's a scam, believe me!"
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting started investing in Altcoins on: January 30, 2017, 07:59:36 PM

Now, I don't want to start trading every other day and stuff.
so... you want easy money without effort, is that it? sorry dude... but that doesnt sound good.
you dont need to be trading every day, but you will need to be "following" your investment every day. otherwise you will be probably losing money. this market is pretty volatile, in one day you have 100% profit and next day you lost everything.

if all you want to do is hold, i would say to stick with bitcoin.

Can I use only something like Shapeshift or something better?

yes, you can use shapeshift and other services like that(and that's an exchange too), but, in most cases, you will be paying higher fee's.
4  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is a good investment now, because... on: January 30, 2017, 07:49:47 PM
technology is a good investment, period.
all you have to decide is: high risk or low risk. bitcoin WAS a high risk investment.

i dont see it as a high risk any more. the market growth last years make it more trustable.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Public vs private blockchains on: December 19, 2016, 06:58:41 PM
Ever since Bitcoin was created by Satoshi Nakamoto, there has been a huge interest in blockchain technology among business, companies, and even banks worldwide.

Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, and Litecoin are called public blockchains, where anyone can add entries, and verify transactions in a free way. However, banks have taken the advantage of using the blockchain technology for their own means, and decided to create private chains where its access is limited to authorized members.

Now, if you take a look at these concepts, they are more similar to the Internet vs the Intranet. Which is why, I'm curious to know what are the advantages or disadvantages between these forms of blockchains?

Will they coexist in the future? Or will one of them prevail?

Please let me know what do you think about this, as I want to learn more about both of these chains.  Smiley

i'm sure in the future they will find a way to make these blockchains communicate between them(making them coexist). of course it  isnt need in every case, but just like a intranet, in some cases, it's nice to have a feature like that with another one.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it time someone defined "The Blockchain"? on: December 16, 2016, 03:47:23 PM
People who understand Bitcoin realise that "blockchain" isn't really a technology
wtf
of course it is a technology... doest matter if it is simple or not.

at some point of the history, a wheel could be called "technology"... at my viewpoint, any possible solution to a problem is a technology.

Definition of technology
plural technologies
1
a :  the practical application of knowledge especially in a particular area :  engineering 2 <medical technology>
b :  a capability given by the practical application of knowledge <a car's fuel-saving technology>
2
:  a manner of accomplishing a task especially using technical processes, methods, or knowledge <new technologies for information storage>
3
:  the specialized aspects of a particular field of endeavor <educational technology>
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maidsafe is future! on: December 16, 2016, 03:43:09 PM
ShitCoin Detector Tactics :

1.A cheap whitebox video with a voice of a 30 year old robot using fancy terms.
2.Repetitive use of keywords like "decentralization" "anonymous" "encryption".
3.False promises of taking over the digital currency market by storm.
4.Privacy is their primary concerns, even if it means their dev's having full access to your private keys.
4.Investment ? No way you're taking a loss on this one!

@OP,tell us something we don't know.

Perfect summation ,after falling a few times. I feel what you said.

Now they finally move forvard!
to where? they are at the same place since the start lol
no move at all..
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Clif High says Bitcoin is the future on: December 15, 2016, 03:09:57 PM
to me, bitcoin will be used for a long time, but never will be the future of financial world. blockchain will be used, bitcoin will probably die eventually.
PS:, die eventually doest mean tomorrow... imo bitcoin will raise a lot before that.
11  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitlander Review on: December 15, 2016, 03:07:49 PM
Is bitlander a good way to earn bitcoin? I'm hesitating to be active or not in that site
well, i'm not familiar with bitlander but if it is like steemit, just dont hold money there.
get paid and cashout, no risks doing that way.  by the way, steemit is a good way to earn some money too.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NOT Upgrading to SegWit who's with me?! on: December 14, 2016, 03:01:34 PM
..SegWit is to prepare the network for Blockstream proprietary off-chain scaling solution that will allow them to 'shift' network fees away from miners and into their own hands.

It is nothing less than a Coup d'état*

.. hmmm..

no - I'm afraid it's not.

ANYONE can use SEGWIT / LIGHTNING NETWORK / SIDECHAINS / OFF-CHAIN scaling solution. A.N.Y.O.N.E.

It is OPEN SOURCE.

It is NOT PROPRIETARY.

I'll admit - It is quite complicated (to set up an LN network / Sidechain), and requires SKILL / KNOWLEDGE, and yes, if you wanted someone to set it up for you, Blocksteam would be my first choice. Is that a crime now ?

so please.. '..It's a little early in the morning for Kung Fu..'

..

@OP - Can you come up with a FIX for txn malleability (the root of MANY issues) ? If you can, I'm all ears.

perfect!
i'm not a technician but from everything i've seen it's the best solution for the problems we have right now(i've upgraded already).

a few users always try to go against it, but generally it's just like this thread:
"i'm not upgrading! reasons? because i dont want to".

sometimes starts a whole conspiracy theory, but i never seen any fact.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Someone please help me to understand the shitcoin pump and dump... on: December 14, 2016, 02:56:36 PM
how they profit? simple.
attracting ingenuous investors and newbie traders, who believe in the promises and fall for the idea of easy profit.

people see the price increase and then the FOMO starts, devs keep tracking the buy orders and once it's enough to dump they do it.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is missing in the Bitcoin EcoSystem? on: December 12, 2016, 06:34:00 PM
so.. you think adoption is easy to achieve?
bitcoin is growing, but that will not happen from day to night.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help a noob create a coin on: December 12, 2016, 06:32:32 PM
Hi,I want to create a cryptocurruncy for some specific niche but I have no technical knowledge or any knowhow on how to do it.
Will someone please post some easy to understand step by step guide on creating a crypto?
I would like to know every thing from requred budget to hardware requirements if any.

you cant... at least not that easy.
you could pay someone to delivery you a copy of other coins but i doubt that would work.

if you want to create a real coin and make it grow till the point you can earn something from it there's a lot study to be done.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex De-List on: December 08, 2016, 02:42:52 PM
Maybe the problem was the prius  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes you should try a lambo.

now talking seriously, bittrex is a business and they need to make money, otherwise they will be "delisted" from the world. Coins without volume doesnt bring profit to the exchange, so it's normal to delist these coins.
doest matter if it's the best thing out there if nobody is buying it, it isnt a philanthropic business... what they want is money.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Alt Coin Projects Active on: December 08, 2016, 02:38:35 PM
just dont go for LTC and ETH, and you will be ok  Roll Eyes
maybe you should have a look at navcoin, they have a solid team and a very good project.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Synereo on: December 07, 2016, 05:17:20 PM
Best to post here more often. A lot of ALT coin investors get a lot of their information from here.

Perfect!
a few developers doesnt seem to give the right attention to BCT and this is a very important place to any crypto. Like it or not, a lot of investors come from here and will search for information around here.

Dev teams should really be more active around here. that could avoid this hole crash in synereo price
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much $ per coin if..? on: December 07, 2016, 05:10:12 PM
Just do the math... marketcap/coins supply.
still not precise. All these "'x' billion invested by 'y' bank" is, most of the times, pure manipulation to attract investors.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: XVC Vcash [UNOFFICIAL] ▱ Zerotime ▱ Zeroledger ▱ Anon ▱ Innovative on: December 04, 2016, 04:20:38 PM
finally john connor is out...
but after all that manipulation from john connor itself, it's hard to believe in this coin... is there any evidence that this "xcore dev" isnt john connor new identity?

xCore and whhhpg were part of dev team, but John Connor in a schizophrenia and paranoia attack kick them from the team months ago.
They worked on xvc with John from the beginning developing wallets, mobile wallets, moderating irc, forum, etc.
i know that, but since it's just another anonimous person couldnt it be just john connor again? could this pseudonimous be the same person behind john connor since the begin? is there any proof they arent the same?
i'm done of cryptos without a real name behind it.
