83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its Ethereum on: January 11, 2019, 10:01:42 PM
I have couple of ethereum holders as friend and right now they are in worries about the upcoming hardfork ,well this is my opinion
-the upcoming hardfork is just an upgrade ,don't expect extra coins for holding ETH
-its ethereum damn it, If you are thinking it might lose value after the upgrade you are wrong ,I don't say its impossible but of all coins out there ETH stands out ,its no shit coin and remember the dev is a smart guy ,he knows what's best ,either it goes POS or not ETH is still a champ
Don't dump or live to regret it.
I'll not say that eth will lose value after the hard fork but the upgrade its self comport inherent risks and the most likely is the network split which would be possible if a sufficient number of Miners don't agree with the upgrade.

85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] YOURCHAIN - Let's Make Crypto YOURS Again! on: January 06, 2019, 10:15:31 PM
now its been a half year that dev is missing, im hope he at least is alive and wealth  Grin cause yourchain is not alive anymore, we should make funerals and just burry this topic  Grin

what does the absence of dev mean? absently nothing.
what has been done is done. Some have seen a good opportunity in this project and have put a little of their savings to buy a few token, and others have taken advantage of the weakness of others to make some profits and I am completely sure that the dev was among them.
if the dev comes back someday, it's just to make a little more profit on his behalf, exucuses me to say that but I do not believe in this dev anymore and it remains only my opinion and I respect any other opinion from any other people involvè in this project ,near or far.
86  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the Real Risks of Crypto? on: January 05, 2019, 09:34:58 PM
What do you guys think are the real risks of cryptocurrencies and are there any ways of overcoming them? I've attached a good article below that covers a lot of the solutions to what people consider problematic at the moment, and it essentially says most of the risks are down to the user and not the technology (i.e. lack of education). Am interested to hear your opinions.

The interesting article: https://medium.com/@DDhopn/what-are-the-risks-of-buying-crypto-ff1c991a6c83

P.S. I am heavily involved in crypto, just keeping an open mind
there is no risk using crypto money as long as you don't convert all your life saving in to virtual money, must take this world as gambling, nothing is guaranted.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why I believe Bitcoin will remain number 1 on: January 05, 2019, 09:15:19 PM
Many argue that one of the altcoins can probably in the future beat Bitcoin and be number 1 in CoinMarketCap. I believe Bitcoin will be never beaten by any altcoin, especially centralized one, because Bitcoin is decentralized, is the first crypto currency created, and worshipers of Bitcoin will increase over the time.
If another Bull run happens, Media will only talk and focus on Bitcoin, new comers in crypto will learn about Bitcoin first and foremost.
I believe in crypto. But I worship Bitcoin. And all the coming bull runs will be led by Bitcoin.

a good message for developers and blockchain engineers and students; You do not have to try and search because you will never beat BTC. Huh
everyone here believes in btc potential and want btc to always stay at the head of alt coin, but science is moving forward and end up finding something interesting that would make you change your mind otherwise; why do museums exist?
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Fork Delta affects the crypto negatively? on: January 05, 2019, 08:10:38 PM
There are many exchanges that is on the market, many people also are focused on gaining profits on their cryptos.
I just noticed that Fork Delta is something to worry about. I see, many people here are using it to sell their tokens right after they received it especially bounty hunters.
They sell it in a low price and synonumously dumping their tokens even if they know it is promising in the future.
Another thing I see is that, you need to import your private key which I find unsecured.

Forkdelta is an exchange just like many others or  much better . we find buy and sell orders like all exchange, so if someone decides to sell at a low price, it's his choice and he is free to use these token as he wants whatever their origin. and sometimes it finds that it is the only exchange where we can recover a part of our investment when some ico's team fail to list their token on an exchange.
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum hardfork on: January 05, 2019, 06:28:32 PM
Ethereum has been behind the rising of demand for crypto curency in 2017 and I have a feeling that it will do the same thing this year with these three hard fork of January. Grin

Can you please tell me when to expect distribution of tokens for bounty?
In the telegram, the admin said that the distribution will begin 15 days after Crowdsale

15 days are long gone. Has someone already received their tokens for bounty? Or at least information about how and when tokens will be distributed?

it's not so hard to find an answer.

XNY Token will be distributing from January 15 2019,

94  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is rocking are we nearing to the bull run? on: December 28, 2018, 10:10:28 PM
I think the answer was given by the current  BTC rate, sad to not see the bull run occure at this period of year but I'm  optimistic for the next year hoping that it will be hotter than the one that ends now.
95  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: December 28, 2018, 09:57:27 PM
If you had 10000$ where would you invest it?  I'm hoping for 10x in about 2 years, how would you personally split that money? There are so many altcoins that I dont know which to pick, I remember the top 5 altcoins from years ago and  now they are all gone, so should I only invest in  BTC end ETH or others like NEO, ADA and EOS?

If I had $ 10,000 I would stop thinking about long term investment, I would rather think about 1% per day thing completely hard to achieve but not impossible. and after 2 years I would calculate the earning because if I'm not wrong it could go to an X 5 or more.
96  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Help: Stable coin advice on: December 28, 2018, 09:42:25 PM
hey there;
as it's the end of the year and also as there is no major event that would push me to withdraw my money invested in crypto money and also that my working program doesn't allow me to stay connected all the time, I found that it is necessary to take a break and stop trading for at least a period of 6 months, just that I don't know on wich stable coin I must convert my saving; at first I thought about USDT as it was what I did before in such situation but in recent days it seems to me that it's no longer stable than before, so I thought about TUSD but as I never heard about it or used it before.
I really need your suggestions to choose between these two coin or even another solution that allows me to keep my investment as it is right now.
thank you.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Problem: Lost today $2000 on PrimeDice on: December 28, 2018, 09:04:40 PM
the most common things that make a person addicted to gambling are:

1- don't be satisfied with the small gain and try to earn more in short times.
2- don't accept losing part of your money and try to
recover your lost even playing larger amount than your initial losses.

the best thing OP should have done was to withdraw his original deposite after making a gain of almost 120% and play with profit without risk of losing. but luck took another course and did that OP lose all his money.
You may advice anything easily but when you are gambling and feeling the heat of uncertainty, definitely you cannot take the decision of stopping after some profits. I'm not shocked on seeing what OP has done as this will be the result when a gambler is going without any control on their emotions.

I am just worrying how many people are going to fall like this due to gambling and its dangers. There should be some initiative for this so that gamblers will not losing like this.

this is not an advice for op or any other one else, I also lived what op has subited but with more higher amount than what mentioned in this topic and i also know that it's so hard to control emotion when feeling of win take all our brain.

I just want it to be a lesson for other people who will have the chance to read this topic and don't make the same mistakes that others have done before, and I'm pretty sure that  this is the only reason why op shared his experience with us.

99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple Recover? on: December 27, 2018, 10:41:57 PM
Riak will recover in the near future, rest assured that Ripple will not just give up. Ripple is a good and trustworthy coin, so we don't need to worry about Ripple anymore. Of course it will return to normal again
i admit that ripple is a good projet before being a producte but at the moment do not ask for more because in my opinion XRP is overvalued with the current CMC rate so be happy with its current price.
100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your favorite gambling movie? on: December 27, 2018, 10:33:07 PM
Edward Norton & Matt Damon Cheated At A Poker Game Hosted By The Weinsteins Thanks To ‘Rounders.

That's what I found best to describe one of the best gambling movies.

Rounder is the title of this movie, a little advise if you have not seen it yet. do not miss it.
