1661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any working BQC pool for mining~~ on: November 26, 2013, 03:37:12 PM
They all seem to be doing the same thing. I cant get any of them to pay me either. I have moved over to Feathercoin for now and am just going to trade for BBQ coin later. I dont know what's up with digger (bbq.ltcoin.net contact) he has not responded to me either.
1662  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BBQ pool on: November 25, 2013, 06:50:41 PM
bbq.ltcoin.net is no longer paying me any coins. My estimate each round is 2-8 coins and yet when the round is over I get 0.0000000 coins. What is the deal?
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [XPM] Working on a GPU miner for Primecoin : express yourself on: August 26, 2013, 10:03:50 PM
Well he just posted an update about 16 hours ago saying it was working (albeit not as well as we all had hoped just yet)... so hopefully soon the investors will get their money's worth.
1664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM]unofficial jhPrimeminer thread on: August 24, 2013, 09:30:52 PM
Please, add support HTTP-proxy and time to pause between retries in jhPrimeminer for Linux

+1 Please add firewall friendly ports *80* so we can mine behind coorporate firewalls.

1666  Other / Beginners & Help / cant post here on: August 24, 2013, 08:57:29 PM

1667  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pool-X.eu - LTC Pool [PPLNS/STRATUM] blockfinder bonus on: July 11, 2013, 06:04:25 PM
Port 9000 is blocked by the firewall. 8000 works great.
1668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Pool-X.eu - LTC Pool [PPLNS/STRATUM] blockfinder bonus on: July 09, 2013, 04:57:43 PM
please dont get rid of access for people who are unable to use stratum. I cannot connect to stratum here at work and i have a 2200MH/s system running.
1669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Pool-x down on: May 03, 2013, 01:01:50 AM
Looks like whole pool is down. Anyone else have this happening? There is no chat or support page for the pool so I'm not sure where else to find out info on it.
1670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cgminer shuts off after 12 hours guiminer scrypt on: April 14, 2013, 01:56:30 PM
I'm using the 13.3 beta drivers on a 5870 win7-64bit. OC 900MHz/1300MHz

Should I downgrade the driver?
1671  Other / Beginners & Help / Cgminer shuts off after 12 hours guiminer scrypt on: April 14, 2013, 01:17:17 PM
I am running guiminer scrypt with cgminer and every 12 hours or so it just stops mining. All I have to do is click stop and start and it comes back on but my rig is 45 mins from my house so this is not good.

Is there a way to get the auto-restart feature of cgminer to work in guiminer scrypt? Or is there another solution to getting it to stop doing that?
1672  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Litecoin Miner on TOR? on: April 09, 2013, 12:49:02 PM
Yes I figured that I would need a pool that works with it.

Does anyone know of a LTC pool that supports TOR?? And if so how can I connect to it?
1673  Other / Beginners & Help / Litecoin Miner on TOR? on: April 08, 2013, 06:53:35 PM
Is there a Litecoin miner that currently allows for a TOR proxy connection? Its the only way I can mine Litecoin at work and I do not know of a pool that currently supports it.

Can anyone tell me if a LTC pool does support it and if so, how to connect to it?

Thanks!
1674  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: PPCoin Mining Nothing Showing on Coinotron on: April 07, 2013, 08:20:42 PM
Thanks I appreciate your help!
1675  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: PPCoin Mining Nothing Showing on Coinotron on: April 07, 2013, 08:16:21 PM
Well guiminer is still using the ufasoft CPU miner on the back end.

My problem with guiminer is that it opens the listening port and my CPU goes to 100% but that's it. It never gets a hash rate or anything else in the consol output.

What flags do I need for guiminer?

Edit: I'm just an impatient noob I guess.... I have rewards coming into coinotron now. Still no hash rate showing but I know it's working at least.
1676  Other / Beginners & Help / PPCoin Mining Nothing Showing on Coinotron on: April 07, 2013, 07:08:47 PM
I am trying to mine PPC and I am getting a hash rating and it looks like its working through the command line but nothing is showing up on Coinotron.com my worker just shows 0.0 MH/s.

I do get a http 400 bad request error before the miner takes off each time. Could that be messing me up?

I'm using Ufasoft CPU miner. Here is what I get when I run my script:

bitcoin-miner.exe -a 5 -t 2 -g no -o http://coinotron.com:8322 -u username -p password
coin-miner 0.53 Copyright (c) 2011-2013 Ufasoft http://ufasoft.com/coin
Mining for http://coinotron.com:8322
using CPU (2 threads)
HTTP 400: Bad Request
4.617 MHash/s 2 CPU threads

1677  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BitMinter.com * Optional Custom Miner, PPLNS, Merged mining, Newbie-Friendly! * on: April 03, 2013, 02:55:02 PM
Hello everyone. I am a complete noob and only know basics about mining.

I am at work. The only way I can get my computer to mine ANYTHING is through this Bitminter Java App with firewall friendly option enabled.

I can't EVER get another mining application to work when I specify port 80 (much less any other port).

Can someone tell me how I can get this to work without using the applet (but still getting the "firewall friendly" option so it will work at my office)?

Also, is there a Litecoin equivelant to this? The office firewall blocks all webminers and guiminers for litecoin and their pools as well.

EDIT: Even after tethering my machine at the office through my iPhone I still cannot mine anything. The only option that works is BTC mining through the Bitminter applet. Anyone have an idea as to what could be happening?
1678  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 400MH/s, worth solo mining? on: April 03, 2013, 12:53:54 AM
Sorry for hi-jacking but what if you have 400MH/s and solo mine litecoin?
1679  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Introduce yourself :) on: April 02, 2013, 05:36:37 PM
I'm hoping that although I'm late to the mining game, to get rich someday Smiley

can you guess my name? lol

Anyway, since I'm so new I cant post this question anywhere else but can someone tell me where I can mine litecoins on port 80? I use bitminter firewall friendly port 80 for bitcoin but I can't find anything for litecoin that will let me do the same.

Or does anyone know a litecoin pool that will let me mine on port 80 through the guiminer-scrypt? And can anyone tell me what the flags would be for changing to port 80?
