If you don't pay for power... do it.
122  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Why are you mining BTC? on: October 22, 2013, 01:10:10 PM
It's a hobby that helps keeps my technical skills sharp. That, and I love the concept of Bitcoin.

This.  100% this.

124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Exchange] Latest Cryptsy Additions, News and announcements. NEW DATACENTER on: October 22, 2013, 01:08:22 PM

it has nothing to do with time, this shit is happening every fucking day
Give them a break, they are upgrading.

I happen to agree here.
If you don't like it, go elsewhere.  There are other options after all.

They did give you plenty of notice.  You should have planned better.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How you can get your first bitcoin? on: October 22, 2013, 01:07:24 PM

127  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: October 22, 2013, 01:05:24 PM
Ken's keeping his cards very close to his chest so this means when he decides to break radio silence it will be with news of a major development.   Lips sealed

I expect we will have fully working FAST-HAST miners already stress tested and fully operational BEFORE Ken tells us anything.  Shocked

Mark my words.  Cool

^^Sarcasm?

^^ duh?!

(Sarcasm)
128  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: BFL charges about $300 for shipping & actual cost is $53.95 on: October 22, 2013, 01:04:40 PM
You've got to piece it all together from the years of posts here.

There are issues with BFL.  If you choose to do business with them, you have a pretty big upside and a pretty big downside.  No surprises.
129  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will Bitcoin hit $300? on: October 22, 2013, 01:03:41 PM
I don't think the market will do that again.  It will be a gradual rise to $300 over the next year.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IFC THE CRYPTO US DOLLAR! Support IFC! on: October 22, 2013, 01:02:54 PM
IFC is like any other cryptocurrency.  Minor tweaks / improvements over the others.  But it relies on the same fundamental concepts as all the others.

It is about use and perceived value.

I understand the haters.  Hate IFC, the price gets driven down, others go up or you buy in.

I think it has real promise.
131  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ANN][2TH][Auto Profit-switching ASIC Pool][BTC, TRC, FRC, ZET] multipool.us on: October 22, 2013, 01:00:40 PM
Can we just merge this thread into the others?  Two places worth of data must be a pain for you to maintain.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN][Multi-Coin][Stratum] multipool.in newbies support thread on: October 22, 2013, 01:00:01 PM
Can you lock it on Btc, until the first block is found. That way we can atleast know it works

not a bad idea, actually.
133  Other / Archival / Re: Mining pools list on: October 22, 2013, 12:59:36 PM
Thanks for keeping this list going.  Good source if info.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: October 22, 2013, 12:59:14 PM
It happens.

Buy low, sell high.

But, yea, looking at the graphs, it stings a bit.
135  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: CGMINER ASIC FPGA GPU overc monit fanspd RPC linux/win/osx/mip/r-pi 3.6.4 on: October 22, 2013, 12:58:33 PM
Do you always plan to edit the subject line with the new version #?
Makes it easy to see if there was a change, or if there was just a comment on the thread.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GUIMiner-scrypt: A GUIMiner fork for mining scrypt chains on: October 22, 2013, 12:57:27 PM
Is there plans to release a newer version, ie. v0.05 or higher? It would be great if there was an option to OC and change voltage. Maybe a more improved version of the GUI with 64-bit.

Does voltage control work reliably through CGMiner now?  The AMD ADL was broken for a while with it

No, I've not had it working yet.
137  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: October 22, 2013, 12:56:58 PM
Heat is always the issue for me.

Even when I space them out, the heat in the room goes up to.  Granted, 20GPUs running full force will do that.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 22, 2013, 12:56:04 PM
So, talk performance.  How are they?  Not posted perf, but actual.
139  Economy / Computer hardware / [Sold] 5 x Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB DDR5 GPUs - 1BTC / Card OR LESS! on: October 21, 2013, 06:54:58 PM

I've got 5 more Sapphire Radeon HD 7950 3GB DDR5's I'm ready to part with.
100% operational, includes original packaging, and various cables.

Card Specs: Amazon
Price:  I'm doing this on a tiered model.  I'd rather ship them all to one person, so I'm going to price them to incent that kind of transaction.

Note: Shipping will need some sort of Delivery Confirmation, and will be from 19010 (Eastern, PA)
Note #2: Escrow is fine, you pay the fee and select the service provider you are comfortable with.
Note #3: I've been asked if I will do LTC, yes.  Actually, IFC, too. We'll pre-agree on an exchange rate at the time of sale.
