181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: May 18, 2016, 10:50:18 PM
Bitcoin is better at storing and hiding your wealth, being your own bank. Paypal too has it's benefits of many places accepting it and ease of use but it also has many negatives like the one you described in your OP. When Bitcoin is accepted everywhere that paypal is currently there will be no competition at all, Bitcoin is and will always be better.
182  Other / Archival / Re: Do you have paypal account even though you have bitcoin? on: May 18, 2016, 06:27:27 PM
After see this topic paypal or bitcoin?, i'm curious who have paypal account these days.
Do you still have paypal account even though you have bitcoin?

Of course I do and I would say the majority of people here do. You can't do everything with Bitcoin yet so until you can I will keep my paypal, credit cards etc. When Bitcoin is accepted everywhere and there is no need for these things then I will stick to only Bitcoin.
183  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 bitcoin = 200k dollars on: May 18, 2016, 05:01:44 PM
If the bitcoin double every two years, in 20 years, it will be 1000 times of present value, or $400,000.

Your calculation is perfect but your thinking doesn't seem to be realistic. You can't expect bitcoin to get doubled every year, also something to be around $400000 is unreachable in my opinion.

Where would you get it doubling every year for 20 years? History does not show this is likely and 400k is not happening.

200k is not happening, lets get to 2k with a shed load of support then talk about the next milestone  Cheesy
184  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: da fok is happenen with kraken ???? on: May 17, 2016, 11:01:10 PM
Since Tuesday(today) or Thursday? Never heard of a "thuesday" before  Cheesy

That is an easy one to figure out? He has fat fingers and the E is near the R meaning he means Thursday.

OP that problem seems to be just on your end as I have had confirmed deposits.

Check your txid and make sure it has confirmed and if it has then contact their support, kraken is one of the most trusted and reliable exchanges I've ever used.
185  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = 1000$ in 2016 on: May 17, 2016, 10:47:59 PM
It's possible bitcoin price $1000 to 2016
$650 price good sound dude 2016

Yeah if we see around $600 price at halving then $1k is possible to achieve by the end of the year..totally depends on the scenario at the time of halving.

The bitcoin price could be $500 to 600 during the halving. After that, the price could be over $1000.

Quiet possible to happen by the end of the year, it would be really interesting to see what will be the price at the time of halving, and that will decide the future of bitcoin.

$500-$600-$1000 I fail to see why small fish care so much about a few hundred dollars? Yup it may well touch $600 plus does that mean everyone is going to sell all their holdings and move on lol I have a great prediction, Bitcoin will be worth 1Bitcoin before the halving and it will be worth 1Bitcoin after the halving. The future is sealed. Above post, 'it will decide the future of Bitcoin'  Roll Eyes
186  Economy / Gambling / Re: LuckyBTCCasino.com - Provably Fair - HTML5 Mobile games on: May 17, 2016, 08:24:47 PM
It's great to see LuckyBtcCasino listened and enabled a no sign up option we was speaking about a few months back & tweaked the design from what I remember! I am sure that will help and give you more of a chance to have a successful BTC casino.

Anonymous play is always better mate. You can't be for real? It is on the home page, register Smiley Oh, saying that. Try logout of the anonymous account then the option is on the top left of the screen.

-snip-

Ah my bad, thanks zengryT, yeah I need to logout first to find the registration thing Grin

Yup that had me until I see the log out option. I just had to remember my old log in details.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My computer have just been hacked for BITCOIN ransom! on: May 15, 2016, 10:33:14 PM
Have heard that kind of hacking software before, which encrypted all files on my computer, and when my brother have been using the computer (or course carelessly), it is hacked and they demand a 1.2BTC ransom... These are just one more bad news of BTC, and even make my family members have even worse image on bitcoin... And we decided not to pay the coins to the hacker as all important files have been backed up.

Whay do you think?

I heard of this years ago actually but at the time it was targeting the police and business owners. Needless to say they used to pay up to get their files back/unecrypted.

Now they're moving on to average joe, that was always going to happen I guess.

That is not a bad image for BTC it is more a bad image for the guys who are downloading crap on their machines, usually porn lol

It also used to be done with other payment methods like UKASH.

You're "important files now belong to them so hope they're not that important because they will find something to do with it that you can be sure of.

188  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you still believe in bitcoin on: May 15, 2016, 10:20:18 PM
Bitcoin nowdays is high and it's keep rising up, i am believing in bitcoin now, more than in past. Halving is also coming, only good new here, haha Grin

Just because the price of Bitcoin is rising slightly that gives you and others faith and belief in it!?

The same guys that feel the world crashing when we see a $50-$75 drop and have no faith or belief anymore Cheesy

Just because of the halving hype it does not mean it's all going to be good news I'm afraid.

I love what I have been able to do because of Bitcoin and what I will be able to do in future, I am excited for what the future brings for crypto and I believe it can store our wealth better than any banker and in the process break some of their control. That I believe.

189  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: May 15, 2016, 10:03:46 PM
We all know that there is no  guarantee so what shall we do?

You should do whatever you feel like doing and be happy doing it or don't do it lol

Should we stop investing?

You should decide that for yourself.

 should we stop earning?

That should not even be classed as a question  Cheesy

Even if God comes down to earth he cannot predict what will be the price at the time of halving.

I am happy I came onto this forum today, I have been highly amused.  Cheesy

It's always time to buy!

& sell
190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: May 15, 2016, 09:54:24 PM
Waking up with the imaginary $50million and still feel you would gamble lol That made me laugh.

I have no doubt in my mind that if that was the case I would not gamble a single penny in any online or inhouse casino.

If i will be rich i will be only gambling!  Grin That is the best fun when you don't care if you win or if you lose! And usually when you dont care about that, you are winning!

Then the chances are very high you will make someone else very rich from your stupidity  Cheesy
191  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [UPDATED] SELLING 2 (Two) BITCOINTALK ACCOUNTS on: May 01, 2016, 04:10:35 PM
Petty scammer.  Stole $5 from me and didn't deliver the ScrapeBox license.  Deal with caution with this piece of shit.

Open up a scam accusation with proof to warn potential victims or it never happened.
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling should be considered as a Sickness!! on: May 01, 2016, 02:16:17 PM
Gambling is not a sickness and should not be classed as such. I gamble and I am far from sick lol. It becomes a problem and illness when you're addicted and spend what you cannot afford to lose. Saying you win in the begining and then lose is also wrong, there is no rule to say you will win at the start.

I can totally relate to it. There was a time when I had become addicted to it. I have lost my fortune, took loan, gamble again, lost again and moved back to signature campaigns.  Grin For an experience it wasn't that bad but one should know limits to gamble because beyond a limit you can't earn in gambling.

If you lost everything I would say it is time to get a decent career to focus on and actually get enough money to pay for rent and bills because there is no way signature earnings can do that.

193  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: May 01, 2016, 01:09:10 PM
I find it hard to believe someone needs to ask if the USD/Petro Dollar is less popular than BTC. Crazy talk, BTC is nowhere near more popular and never will be unless the USD collapses in the future.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: WTB - Buying Lisk at .00004 BTC / Lisk on: March 30, 2016, 09:45:25 AM
Funny that the OP tells the thread how LISK won't be getting on any decent exchange (lol) and that it will dump below ICO when it launches. Leaves the nagging question as to why he is trying so hard and willing to pay over don't ya think? Remove the impossible and what you are left with and all that. -desperado-
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price for 2016 on: March 18, 2016, 01:45:31 PM
I vote above 500. It will only be brief though and the come back to settle around where it is now.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 15btc transaction fee, big mistake on: March 03, 2016, 11:40:25 AM
Lol  It will help for them to pay attention to what they're doing next time. If they can mistake a fee its funny to think of the typos they've made sending funds to someone.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? on: March 01, 2016, 01:20:29 PM
People who gamble like the guy you see OP do not deserve that much BTC to gamble, in the end they won't anyway as they will give it away. Saying that depending on the site it could have easily been the site owner bumping up the wagering and getting people talking.

I would never gamble any large amount, I do play poker and occasionally bet on sports but only with change and never with anything I would care about losing.
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long is Bitcoin life? on: March 01, 2016, 11:26:43 AM
I think the bitcoin will have a long life but of course its not to predict how long the life of the bitcoin will stand, I think it will be for 20 years from now on.

Its of course not to predict so we have to really see that, the future is pretty good for the bitcoin.

I can predict that bitcoins life will still be living/being used. It will be still living while multiple people are still using it and miners confirming, so that is how long OP. As for a date, now that is a rather silly question imo. but, 02/22/2222.

The important thing that controls the price is simple, demand and speculation. In future we may have a big adoption rate behind us and the demand will outweigh the sellers, that will be a good day.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin being used for illegal activities on: February 23, 2016, 12:37:42 PM
Ofcourse it is. Bitcoin is the best method to pay some illegal stuff. And that is hard to predict when it is going to happen.
You cant see and control them when they pay something. So maybe it must be more secure or something.

Bitcoin is completely transperent when compare to other transaction method, If anyone the bitcoin address we can its all history dude. by that we can find the IP address as well. Then how Illegal people will use bitcoin. Its a kind of funny thing which you guys are revealing here.

You have totally lost me here? Yes all transactions are recorded for all to see and stays for future reference. So if I give you my address or I send you some Bitcoin you could then find my IP?   Cheesy Fancy a challenge/bet?

Every currency and thing of value since the dawn of time has been used for illegal activities and will continue to be in future. I thought that would be obvious. Bitcoin just happens to be the best at it so far, apart from people being able to find my IP through a transaction of course  Tongue

That tip above was given to those who purchased the tip earlier in the day. Well, that is how it worked the other week when I brought a few of his picks and I don't see why it would change within that time. By looking at it with the pre match evaluation that looks like it was a weekend game.
