i'm sure your against escrow as well taking donations and selling signed up this morning Hi, my name is Steven. I am trying my best around the net to seek funding for a book I want to publish. I wanted to start a kickstarter but dont have enough contacts on social media. I live in South America and am hoping to start my dream career in writing and also to finish and publish my book about those who break free to travel, live in a place that makes them happy. I have been living in South America for almost 10 years, in several countries. - What means most in life other than material items and being surrounded and involved with those to share love, helping others and the happiness that brings you in life. I am trying to raise $7500.00, which will help me with some more research, to finish my writing, some graphic design, time, and also to start self publishing and printing as well as advertising. I am asking for Bitcoin donations to help me realize this, thank you - 1FwsACfRyaH6fQhCz6BcQa7oWwyEEKueCP - If you have questions you can contact me - krakenirwin@gmail.com looks like you have a slight gambling problem as well https://blockchain.info/address/1FwsACfRyaH6fQhCz6BcQa7oWwyEEKueCP

It'll probably be Spondoolies Tech or KNCMiner bringing the next generation ASIC chips. I remember KNC were the first to the market with 28nm nanoprocess and the first with 20nm nanoprocess, so if that trend continues, then they'll be the first with "Solar" 16nm chips: https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-118FYI, this is not an endorsement of KNC, as they've proven some shadiness with their business practices, QA and shipping disasters, suspect self mining KNC Cloud, and bungled pre order model with Titan. Just stating facts about being the first to market with the newest chips. I wonder how many people would even bother with them if they are indeed the first ones to come out with the newest tech... I sure as hell wouldn't

This video appears to show a MyCoin.hk convention in 2014: http://my.tv.sohu.com/us/201860874/69946081.shtmlGiven the number of atendees in that event, the claim of 3000 victims now seems more credible. The gray-haired Westerner may be William Dennis Atwood, the director of the parent company who seem to have left shortly before MyCoin.hk collapsed. The CCB reports that 43 investors between the ages of 21 and 71 years old lost anywhere between HK$50,000 to HK$15m each when the exchange ceased operations. Such estimates would place the total consumer loss at HK$63m, or $8.12m at press time. http://www.coindesk.com/mycoin-hong-kong-police-8-1-million/Just a little off from previously reported 387$M..... talk about being way off

Good morning Bitcoinland. Same old same old, I see. Bulls waiting for a train to the moon. Bears waiting for Bitcoin to die. Funny how waiting can be such a merry dance. During last month as a bull I can say that I am not waiting for any train. Because I know it will happen sooner or later. So I am not worried about future price of the Bitcoin. I am more considering security issues over bitcoin exchanges. That's what we need to fight for now if we want the train again. Best regards. The train has been quietly boarding over the past few days.

On okcoin.cn there is the tab Trade-Margin. Thats the same on okcoin.com. This is only for lending and for borrowing coins or fiat? Though i dont see a checkbox to change if you want to borrow or to lend. Thats only for manual margin trading and okcoin only allows margins up to VIP-Level, from the start 2x, right?
The interesting thing is futures, though you can chose a high leverage there because okcoin needs to manipulate because its their own money, not other users money. Otherwise, they will lose money if more than half of the trader win.
And okcoin.cn has no own futures, one trades on okcoin.com then?
I think ill try 792.com first since their fees are low and i had the biggest problems with the fees on bitfinex.
damiano... the fee for CFDs on okcoin is paid once only? But its not 0.03% for a whole cycle like with 792.com right?
Futures fee's are paid when you open up the contract.

Why are you selling (if you don't mind me asking)

Shorting only makes sense if you do leverage, which at the same time leverage never makes sense because you can get on debt if things go against you.
Basically never short. Buy and hold. You require too much luck to win shorting. I dont believe in predicting the market, let alone small market noise.
I have a small 6 btc stash I trade futures with on okcoin @ 20:1 which I use for day trading. I have my long position on Bitfinex. I do agree you can get yourself into deep shit if your on the wrong side, but in this market currently it's to easy to make trades and gain a profit. I take profits out and funnel them back into Bitfinex. If you watch the market closely it's very easy to make gains. I think the main issue with leverage (I used to do this) is holding on to long and not taking profit. Before entering a position you need to establish when your going to get out and when the time comes you need to follow through with your exit. In some cases it's better to hold longer (coinbase pump is a good example). Also never go all into a position, I usually build my positions slowly constantly averaging out.

bids are very thin to 216 Quick fix: Don't look back I've been waiting almost a month now for my ~$205 coins and I'm starting to fear that they may not be on the menu. I have thousands off the order books set aside for a drop should it come. I wonder how many others have also. I just don't see a short squeeze as likely until the pump and dumpers can credibly (credible to the naive) claim a double bottom. Not that I mind much. I like to see a stable price. The longer it lasts, the better it is for Bitcoin. Bears can't keep the price below 220 for more than a few hrs. I can't imagine how fast the price would bounce if it went below 200.

Is it just me, or is there really little buying pressure going on at the moment? Rather boring this island of relative stability we're seeing here. But at some point the whale boys will get bored and start dumping again probably.
Yep everybody has sold already. At this point everyone is hodling hard. Quite a bit shorts opened back up again, but I guess thats good, more longs opened up as well. Hopefully a short squeeze is coming in a day or two.

Back in the early days, some of the smartest people in the world have been hanging around here. They were posting tech stuff, chatting about the fiat economy and politics, even trying to predict if a specific pattern was responsible for the USD/BTC price. But then; MtGox arrived. Then the trolls followed. And my ignore list must now contain more than 50 persons. And yet this still seems to be the best thread in this whole forum. Recall that, many months ago, about half of the postings on bitcointalk.org were about altcoins. I am too lazy now to redo that statistic, but, by eyeball, the altcoins still seem to take a large fraction. There arn't many altcoins worth mentioning anymore let alone to follow. btc ltc thats it for me

24vc.com
accepts btc as well
I use them for a dedicated ip (not dynamic) speeds are great and its reliable
Whats the difference? dedicated IP is a constant ip, dynamic changes everytime you connect to it
