181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UPDATE CW at conference in London WTF? SCANDAL!!! What really happened? on: October 18, 2019, 09:00:34 PM
It is really unfortunate to see fights like these, grow up and have the patience to listen to everyone, if they want to walk out they can do that rather than having a fight so the entire world could watch, there is huge population outside who does not understand what is going on nor invested in the crypto market and all they see is two or three factions fighting out in the public which will not help anyone.

The people that get listened to are those with the biggest platforms. That's why banks now control the development of our once precious currency.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin coins are losing popularity? on: October 18, 2019, 08:58:28 PM
Bitcoin is an online currency.  Even if started with a lower price.  Now its value is beyond the reach of ordinary people. But, nowadays, it seems that Bitcoin is losing its popularity.Because, not receiving validity in low income countries. It may be the main reason.

People in low-income countries can't use the currency due to the artificial fee market created by Blockstream. But not worries.

There are many alternatives coming along which will solve this problem like Bitcoin Cash which is fully aligned with the original vision.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware!! Bitcoin can be the future but a lot of work is to be done on: October 18, 2019, 08:56:12 PM
Bitcoin has achieved so much praise in such a short period of time but its potential dictates to elevate even higher. A lot of work needs to be done to make it mainstream.

Yes, a lot of work!

Like restoring on-chain scaling and fixing the proof of work bug. Without these changes, the currency is simply not sustainable.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Relying On ‘Coffee Stains’ And ‘Rusty Staples’ In McCormack Case on: October 18, 2019, 02:34:36 PM
I sincerely don't know when CW realized when to stop his stunts and disappear in crypto space. Maybe he really wants to go to prison and stay there forever??? He turned out to be one pathetic person trying to gain attention from everyone. He can't regain his image anymore, if there's image to protect in the first place.

Don't buy into the Gaslighting!

CSW is Satoshi and authored every single Satoshi post on this forum.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to Bring Water to Ethiopia on: October 18, 2019, 02:31:04 PM
If BTC sticks with Proof of Work instead of upgrading the consensus model, the world will have plenty of water because all of the icebergs in Antarctica will melt flooding the earth.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you can have a dinner with Mr Satoshi on: October 18, 2019, 02:26:26 PM
People have dinner with Craig all the time. I'm sure he wouldn't mind having you as a guest.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-10-09] Forbes: Bitcoin Can Help Fight Authoritarian Govts on: October 18, 2019, 02:21:22 PM
Now that the government completely controls BTC development this is no longer the case.

Why do you think Txs are being pushed out onto L2 custodial nodes?

Go take a look at some of the state money transmitter laws. 1 MB blocks have nothing to do with improving decentralization.

Don't allow Blockstream to gaslight you too.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the dangers inside cryptocurrency investing on: October 18, 2019, 01:58:54 PM
While some coins are fine, probably best to avoid BTC.

1. Proof of work is not sustainable.
2. 1 MB pushs Tx onto L2 custodial nodes.
3. Banks now control BTC development.

If these secrets don't get out BTC will rise. If the masses discover the truth, it will probably crash.

Choose your cryptos wisely!
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Traditional Payment Processors on: October 18, 2019, 01:57:20 PM
bitcoin will replace all these traditional online payment processors such as Paypal, Apple pay,... soon and it won't matter if they adopt blockchain technology themselves. for example even if Paypal turned into a token it still wouldn't change anything about its replacement by bitcoin because bitcoin is decentralized and it also doesn't have the huge disadvantage of them which is charge back ability.

There is no doubt that Bitcoin has all the qualities to easily replace the traditional online payment methods available currently but the problem most people who don't really understand how bitcoin operates and its nature is the volatility of its price. Due to this, majority are scared to adapt using it for their transactions. And others invest in it rather than using it to pay for their transactions online.
In addition, the Bitcoin network is very slow, it is not intended for micro payments now. Bitcon acts as gold in the cryptocurrency market. Payments in Bitcoins should be tangible.

I'm glad you used the word "Now". Thanks Blockstream!  Angry
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Popularity of BITCOIN on Twitter Declining? on: October 18, 2019, 01:55:55 PM
I've noticed this myself.

The decline can be evidenced by searching 'bitcoin' TOP and seeing the dwindling number of quality posts.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto - Creator of Bitcoin on: October 18, 2019, 01:53:53 PM
We don't know so much about the creator of the king of crypto but still we trust it.

We actually know exactly who the creators are: Craig Wright and Dave Kleiman.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is never going to be extinct on: October 18, 2019, 01:52:08 PM
Unless the developers solve the Proof of Work (PoW) bug Bitcoin will destroy itself.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin May Extinct on: October 18, 2019, 01:50:31 PM
Gents, Am I the only one thinks that bitcoin can be erased in the same way it is created? Dont you think any attack can kill it?

Unless the Proof of Work bug is solved, Bitcoin will destroy itself.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright as "Bitcoin creator" at a conference in London!!! WTF??? on: October 18, 2019, 01:46:42 PM
The organizers of this event are doing wrong. Such scammers and liars as Craig Wright should be eliminated from these kinds of conferences. In my opinion, this is another PR move to attract more people, but in my opinion it is very stupid and not professional

Never thought I'd see the day when Satoshi Nakamoto was called a scammer on bitcointalk.org.

I have some evidence that CSW is the author of every Satoshi post on this forum.

196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Safe Haven? on: October 16, 2019, 10:04:15 PM
Bitcoin isn't a safe haven, it's a hot mess.

Thanks to Blockstream we have 1 MB blocks and a network that's been converted into an L2 custodial system and settlement layer.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright as "Bitcoin creator" at a conference in London!!! WTF??? on: October 16, 2019, 10:02:58 PM
Among all people the organizer could invite, they decided to invite CW rather than many others who have better reputation and probably cheaper to invite as well.
I think the only people who would to the conference are CW/Ver supporters or newcomers on cryptocurrency/blockchain world.

Interesting that you would have a problem with Satoshi Nakamoto attending a crypto conference.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin can not become a global currency on: October 16, 2019, 10:35:08 AM
Hi, Gents,

I think there has to be a way to create a tracking system for bitcoin. Every wallet must contain ids. Otherwise, bitcoin can be always used for money laundering. If you want to launder money, you can find a cash seller everywhere. After bitcoin is bought, noone can prove whose bitcoin it is. I think this is the only think that preventing bitcoin to become a global currency. Do you think it would worth this much if it is trackable. I dont think so. There will be altcoins that work with tracking system and ids. They will become a global currency. Bitcoin? I think never. What do you think?

Since Bitcoin is now primarily controlled by banks, I think it's going to stick around for a while.

However, over the long term, it is certainly not sustainable with its current PoW consensus model.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright as "Bitcoin creator" at a conference in London!!! WTF??? on: October 16, 2019, 10:30:38 AM
While Craig Wright was in fact the author of the whitepaper and all of Satoshi's posts on bitcointalk.org, I feel he should give more credit to his partner in crime Dave Keilman who died a horrible death before BTC's rise to popularity.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Honestly, do you guys think cryptocurrencies will be gone anytime soon? on: October 16, 2019, 10:27:05 AM
I haven't been trading my bitcoins and cryptos since this year begins, but I have noticed that the hype train is slowing down since then, compared to last year. I want some honest opinion about the future outlook of BTC or crypto per se. Should investors invest in it ?

Cryptocurrencies (not just BTC) will eventually obsolete all forms of centrally-issued fiat.

It's just a matter of time.
