Is it a business reason? Or perhaps the complexity of bitcoin accounting creating potential issues?
What do you think?
Amazon isn't resisting anything. There simply isn't enough consumer demand to justify integrating bitcoin into their payment platform. Consumers aren't going to take time exchanging fiat to bitcoin so they can then buy an online item they could have already bought with fiat. That's never going to happen. As a community, I think we're too fixated on putting the cart in front of the horse. The best way to get merchants to accept bitcoin, is to make the consumer side of the equation make sense. This can only be done by educating the public about the importance of payroll/wage integration. Get paid in bitcoin, spend bitcoin. That's the best route to merchant adoption. ~~

I wonder if you would jump into another cryptocurrency in case the Bitcoin price would fall to the bottom. Or what else would you do? Would you leave the game completely? Tell me I think instead of waiting for that to happen, it would be best to diversify into alternative currencies now. While Bitcoin is THE blue-chip among cryptocurrencies (for now), there are dozens of rising stars to be found on the pink sheets. Digital currency is the future - that is for certain. So spreading out your investment simply makes the most sense. ~~

no one care and this thread soon will removed
Sorry. But why? It's okay man, sometimes people in here will come at you with swords. There are probably all sorts of coin giveaways going on right now. Go surf the announcement threads and have fun! https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0~~

I just came across breakoutcoin and then breakoutcoin.com, they have what looks to be some great qualities - especially the breakout chain multi currency system. Im super new to crypto so I don't know if its solid enough, what do you all think?
Examine the community, socialize with the community, evaluate the community - okay now you have your measuring stick! ~~

I have noticed that the community pay much attention to the fact a coin is premined but i haven't clearly understand the reason why this is necessarly evil. Satoshi Nakamoto premined over 1,000,000 bitcoins, but you'll NEVER read that on Coindesk. lol The value (pure and simple) of any cryptocurrency is in its network effect. Focus on network effect and forget about these silly notions. ~~

In traditional investments, long term is most often considered to be a minimum of 5 years. But bitcoin seems to live its life in hyper drive, hence the question to the bitcoin world, what is long term to the average bitcoin investor?
It would be similar to the traditional definition for most bitcoin investors. Cryptocurrencies are going to change the world much like the auto and airplane changed travel! ~~

I just went ALL-IN Ethereum... anybody else did the same? Do I trust Ethereum too much? You are kidding? I think this is probably a great time to go short ETH. The dev didn't unload 25% because he thought the price was moving higher. ~~ You are full of shit and just playing games trying to setup a Shill topic.. I bet you are using another account to post back to it also. You look at his account history and he has been ""ALL IN" with ETH the whole time anyway. So this topic is just a deceitful manipulative spammy advertising crock of shit. YET ANOTHER GOD DAMN ETHEREUM TOPIC ! For what ? Why ? What was the point here ? NADA ..advertising Apparently you are such a bloody greedy noob that you didn't know this scam routine has been played out years ago lots and we all already learned that all it does is turn off the users. In other words spamming to much about a fucking shitcoin makes people walk the other way. And you are all too fucking dumb to grasp this FACT. Post more of these see if i care.. i know damn well it will simply have the opposite effect LOL ETH = (not a currency) SCAM token designed for nothing buy Pyramid scheme profits on centralized exchanges. Can we get back to talking about Alternate currencies now please ? You shouldn't hold back so much. Go ahead and speak your mind! lol Love ya man ..... ~~

After many years of dedication and service to the altcoin community, our 'king' is now retired and enjoying the fruits of his labor. Cheers to the man who reportedly taught Jesus to walk on water! ~~

Is there any official place where one can upload documents and other proves about your cryptsy account?
The receivership attorney indicated to me last week that an "official Cryptsy receivership" website is about to launch that will contain more detailed information. In the meantime, you can call this office with specific questions: http://www.sallahcox.com/james-d-sallah-esq.html~~ Hey, MG, do you feel that the receiver is a good guy doing his best for the interests of Cryptsy's clients? (not a trick question) Only time will tell, and based on other similar cases, that amount of time could number into the years. ~~

I don't see it happening very soon at least not with one of the cryptos that already exist.Bitcoin will be replaced only if it fails very hard and the same time a new improved crypto makes its appearance.
Improved cryptos are those that can protect the network from subversion and control, and all threats both foreign and domestic. ~~

Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?
I think it will most likely happen the way it happened with automobiles. The protocol is like the combustion engine, the body, and the four wheels. Consumers seek novelty and will always demand a choice. So diversity has come in the way of the altcoins, and as always, the better man will win! ~~

Cryptocurrency already is "an AI Self-programming grid-network." That's the beauty in the protocol. ~~

I was studying the UNO volume and it appears that 85% of it is created by a bot on C-CEX. This means that organic volume is probably closer to $100/daily.
Someone controlling 10% of the supply (or $40,000 worth) could, for all intents and purposes, irreparably harm the currency. This means that the Cryptsy coins would have to fall into benevolent hands to ensure the avoidance of a market catastrophe.
Does this seem like a plausible statement, or am I being overly dramatic?

Some great ideas being shared here. Thank you! ~~ Sorry if I missed this if/when it was posted but are the Cryptsy addresses the #1 and #5 addresses on the rich list? Both had activity 10 days and 22 hours ago. https://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno/#!rich

I love those old coin they have soul! At least they were mined and you can form price by calculation of mining prices, it is not like ICO or IPO. I dont know what people find in those coins except fast gambling..We must return to good old days.
Yes. It's great seeing these classics being restored. Much better than many of the new kids on the block. The Lindy effect is real! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lindy_effect~~
