1081  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin successfully defeated China on: September 20, 2017, 06:14:32 PM
I won't completely agree that bitcoin has successfully defeated China because the battle is not won yet and until when the Chinese government comes out openly to ban bitcoin, we witnessed a further crash which is sure to happen, then if we recover and even reach say $5100 which has never been achieved before, I will then accept that bitcoin defeated China.
1082  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin Prices Reach $5,000 Again Without China? on: September 20, 2017, 12:26:31 PM
Can Bitcoin Prices Reach $5,000 Again Without China?  Roll Eyes Huh

I have the believe that we will get to $5000 again, we got there with Chinese being in board but they are going, I believe we will still get there it might only be slower if they had to be still involved. The timing at this point is what matters and everyday we see that bitcoin is not down yet, its a one step closer to achieving such landmark.
1083  Economy / Economics / Re: Central of the Philippines Recognizes Bitcoin on: September 20, 2017, 11:24:45 AM
This is really a good news even though the news is really not making waves and influencing price the way other it would have been if it had been a country like the United States or Russia but that being said, the people of Philippines will be happy about this news and hopefully, it will spread to other countries. However, I want to be concerned about when the implementation will start effectively.
1084  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Paying with Btcoin on: September 20, 2017, 07:38:47 AM
Where can pay with BTC to electrical Institute for getting training course .

The moment you can own btc in your country of residence, then there is someone somewhere willing to exchange it to fiat for you. All you need to is to search harder and instead of looking for someone that will accept directly, just convert to either fiat if its an offline course or convert to dollars if its an online own and you wont need to bother yourself much.
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: lucky ! does it influences by a woman beside of us? on: September 19, 2017, 08:33:39 PM
This at best is trivial, how can a woman beside you  be the source of your luck in gambling. Gsmbling us a serious business and we should shun all superstitious gimmicks if we are ready to be successful with it.
The problem is that gamblers are not rational people - a lot of gambling crows is bound to heavy superstitious, we don't understand, or can justify our gambling need.
Most of us have something like a lucky number, sometimes every lucky charm, some kind of object that we think is lucky - and a woman can be something like that.
It is hard to admit but we all probably have little superstitions nature we are not even aware of.

Contrary to your opinion, its not only gamblers that are not rational, every individual that that is taking a risky and unpopular decision. For gamblers to now ascribe winnings to women besidd them, is just too ridiculous to phantom. I play sport gambling and how do someone sitting beside me determine whether the players playing the game in Europe will win or not, it dies just not add up no matter how one looks at it.
1086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who can destroy Bitcoin ? on: September 19, 2017, 03:42:54 PM
I might sound a little bit philosophical here but the people that can destroy bitcoin is 'us' and it will happen when we all abandoned bitcoin. The moment that happened the value drops significantly without measure and with that, no one to ever touch bitcoin. What other end can happen, it does not need to be hacked or controlled. Its about the faith people have in bitcoin and the moment that faith begins to diminish more than increasing, then the end is imminent.
1087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why did you adopt Bitcoin - Ideology, Technology, Monetary on: September 19, 2017, 02:55:44 PM
If I am to choose, it will be the technology because having a look at the technology that supports bitcoin, it does not cease to amaze me on how something we don't see or touch, could be so valuable, something that I can send from one end of the world, then it lands on the other side with minutes, the fact that no one knows who you are and you are still able to carry out several transactions and to top it all, the master chief in charge of this amazing technology, is no where to be found.
1088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: September 19, 2017, 02:05:35 PM
Advertising on TV is really not the problem but the issue is which station will accept such to be aired on their platform whether radio or TV. Firstly, aside from the major international television house, I doubt if local TV stations would have heard about bitcoin or crypto currency as it will mean a comprehensive workshop for them to have an idea on what is being talked about.

Aside that, the media is one that is regulated by government agencies which means they will have to obtain approval to air such and that is another time wasting bureaucratic process.
1089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Factors that caused the cryptocurrency price plummet this September on: September 16, 2017, 09:08:37 AM
Factors that caused the cryptocurrency price plummet this September and how you can benefit and prepare for the future

Everybody by now who invests in crypto or read crypto news has heard about the event that started the plummet this September. To put the long story short, China finally got fed up with the nonsense ICOs that are propagating within their country and damaging their economy... Read more

They are really not too long to find and there won't be need to go to external source for such information from here. Rather a quick look at the front page of this same section of the forum will provide answers to that without any additions whatsoever.
1090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I told my grandma to put all her lifesavings in Bitcoin because you guys said on: September 16, 2017, 03:24:06 AM
it will only go up. She bought at $4200 Sad
How soon can we REALISTICALLY see $4200 again and upwards?

You must have forgotten to read where its being said also that you put what you can afford to lose but enitre life saving does nor fall into that category if you ask me because of the uncertainty that surround this crypto space. However, the decision has been made, the only option is to wait as that be the best decision your grand ma ever made don't panic and all this will clear in due time.
1091  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My conspiracy theory about CHINA...what is yours? on: September 15, 2017, 08:14:52 PM
1.  I think China want to temporarily crash the market so they can collect more BTC (and other coins dirt cheap) before announcing that they are officially adopting.  At that point BTC (and other crypto) will sky rocket.

2. They don't want their citizens to trade cryptocurrency and earn (relatively easily) in fear of losing their cheap labor force.  They will then try to make it as difficult as possible for it to flourish in their country.

Which is it???

It does not matter whether its a conspiracy or a fact. They have come to state that crypto currency trade is disrupting their financial system simply because they cannot control bitcoin. The moment that can be achieved by them either directly or otherwise, they will come back to their senses and every crash that have happened won't matter any longer again.
1092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much time do the cryptocurrencies require? on: September 15, 2017, 05:57:41 PM
Once you decide to trade and/or invest into cryptocurrencies, how much time do you need to spend for that? Is it possible to combine trading and investing with your regular life or is it a full time job?
How much of your time do cryptocurrencies take?
Thank you in advance for your help Smiley

In my own case, I do my full time study offline and also work but at the same time, I trade but what matters is how you intend to allocate your time and because I am not into trade fully, I tend to lose out at the appropriate time to sell or buy which could have maximise my profit. What I do is to just check on my coins on a regular basis to know if its the right time to sell or not.
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin recovery on: September 14, 2017, 03:00:49 PM
I accidentally sent BTC from my Bitcoin wallet in Electrum to a BCC wallet in Bittrex  that I own, but shows empty.  I wanted to know if there was a way for me to recover the BTC from the Bittrex wallet? I have contacted Bittrex but they refuse to help with anything under £5000. And I do mean no help, been ignored for weeks. I saw someone else on the board with the same problem and you fixed it. Which is why I am asking here. Thank you

I thought I have had enough bad news for the day with several coming from every angle and this came along again. I guess I need to leave the forum now before I get one more that I cannot handle so I prepare for more to face tomorrow because its not going to stop.

Unfortunately, like others have said your fund is gone and there is nothing to bring it back again but its a lesson for anyone not to make such mistake again.
1094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULD WE START LOOKING ELSE WHERE on: September 14, 2017, 02:36:27 PM
With all the negative news going around about bitcoin coursing a lot of panic and anxiety....do you this its time to look else where for a guarantee investment?
i mean may be eth doge etc....

Bitcoin was never meant for the feeble minded and that's exactly what I see people exhibiting and because of the current challenge, it then means that we should jump the ship.

Don't also forget that its exchange site that is being shut down not bitcoin and for the JP Morgan man that calls bitcoin a fraud must be referring to the entire crypto industry so if you are looking for a way out, its definitely not other cryptos.
1095  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price is crashed again on: September 14, 2017, 01:11:34 PM
BTCchina released a notify that it will close all the trade on Sept. 30th. Then BTC price on this platform was down less than CNY18000 hurriedly.

Then the crash is because of this news because when I also checked, I realised that what is happening is massive and the FUD is getting real but at the same time, its still not something that would shake someone like me as this is going to be the worst of all events that have happened in the life time of bitcoin.
1096  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: September 14, 2017, 11:56:46 AM
Although I became active in relation to bitcoin quite late but for the same fact that I met bitcoin still standing and the various resolutions of people have even geared up my weaning faith, then I am sure bitcoin will still survive again at this time and even based on historical analysis, there have been more severe battles that have been waged against bitcoin and it survives and for that, I don't see this happening differently.
1097  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you catch the falling knife? on: September 13, 2017, 05:57:41 PM
As you all know, its the sea of red now. Are any of you still ballsy enough to enter at this challenging time?
for me im just waiting for USD 3600 to sell off my house and car and kids to enter.

I guess you have to wait further than as at the current time, the price is still far from reaching that point and I still believe it won't get to that point before price picks up again. So if you can add about $300 or $400 to it you can quickly buy when that amount can get you one before it goes to the point where you might not be able to afford it.
1098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to earn Bitcoin without investment on: September 13, 2017, 05:13:12 PM
Even with investment, its not a guarantee that you will even earn something in return because I had been a victim of that before and its due to the reason of doing it the wrong way. I was fooled by the mouth watering return on some sites so I had to go buy bitcoin to invest and at the end the day, nothing came out of it as I even lost the little I have.
1099  Economy / Economics / Re: plan for the future with bitcoin on: September 13, 2017, 03:08:32 PM
Anything you find yourself doing that is generating income, then the future is a paramount event to be concerned about. For those whose future in the field of bitcoin is our own beginning, they have done well for themselves which is what any sane person earning via bitcoin should do because the tendency for bitcoin growth is very available and by then only those you have been able to gather at this time might sustain that future.
1100  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: September 13, 2017, 02:22:03 PM
With the way things are going, governments cannot sit on the fence for long and sooner or later, it will happen that they will be force to an action whether to support bitcoin of go against it with full force. Either way, when it happened, its going to be a landmark for bitcoin whether to the positive or the negative. Let us all hope for the best to come.
