1121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 06, 2017, 07:35:57 AM
Thanks for all of your answers, helped me very much.
I just mentioned that i've been checking prices constantly. Also i've heard that setting up stop loses in crypto is a bad idea bc the market is too volatile. Let's say I don't plan to check prices for a few days, is this a good plan to put a conditional sell order? (for alts I mean)

This is the best decision so far if someone put a lot of money into bitcoin and a little compromise could mean a loss of money and keeping your mind off the direction of things is the way to go then come back and see how the market is doing. Although, its a hard thing to do, but its still the best option as at now.
1122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can one trace a stollen btc? on: September 05, 2017, 03:57:19 PM
hello all,how are u all,
a friend was scammed of a huge amount of btc,and i want to know if one can retract a btc already in another wallet, thank u

Like what earlier poster have said that's is the only thing you can do as even if it moves from there to about 500 other accounts you will trace it but unfortunately if the scammer sent it to a mixer, that will be the end as the input and output will be from different addresses. This is the issue about bitcoin, the moment it leaves your wallet whether knowingly or not, its never coming back only if you have the control but in this case that has been lost.
1123  Economy / Economics / Re: Maybe governments can stop bitcoin after all on: September 05, 2017, 02:26:51 PM
This is a serious discussion. I mean, after I've seen how bitcoin (and other cryptos as well) got dumped badly after an irrelevant law that makes ICOs illegal. I can only imagine now what would happen If more countries do the same thing and It could get worst by make itself bitcoin illegal. Whether we like to admit it or not, most of people would sell everything they have once its made illegal, some may continue to fight the central banking but the sad reality is that as soon as people start making profits, they will dump it and move on.

What is really happening is a form of set back and short lived victory for government because deep down within, they will start rejoicing that a policy like this a go a long way in crashing the price but little did they know that this is another one of their arsenal let out of the bag and the fall in price is a form of retreat in other to come back stronger against gimmicks like this.
1124  Economy / Economics / Re: Robert Schiller on Bitcoin on: September 05, 2017, 01:54:56 PM
I am one thing sure of is that when Robert Schiller was writing his book, bitcoin has not come into existence and for someone to now start linking unrelated items is what I don't understand. If current situation is to be likened to a bubble then I see a massive crash of price and even the whole of the market capitalization is a fraction of what happen in 2008 that is what can be likened to a bubble and not a minor set back in price due to some news from certain quarters.
1125  Economy / Economics / Re: Being a Smart Person or Strategic on: September 03, 2017, 04:13:31 AM
Is it enough to be smart with just nothing to lean on and go on with your life? Because i feel that there are a lot of people who doesn't know how to handle their money with regards to see in the future. Is it enough to be smart and not be strategical or somewhat a person who has a lot of experience. Who would you choose?

For me it is required to be a master of both things like of course you can not have experience if you are not going to try and some people would think it's a waste of their time if they are doing what they know already like repeating their work over and over again. So it should be in a balance.

Everybody cannot want same thing in life while some are not contended with an average life, others are very comfortable in waking up in the morning and getting something to eat when this is being met, every other thing does not matter but they should not be cast out but should be left to lead their lives because that is what they choose normal for me. But in my own case, I chose more than that and working towards it on a daily basis.

1128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money? on: August 30, 2017, 04:40:00 AM
It might happen but it will be in the far future which nobody knows but when government comes into the space then I see timeline being moved up drastically but at the same time, people wont be forced to abandon their way of life all of a sudden especially the senior citizens but for youths then popularity is on the high side.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Do u Like to Bet? on: August 27, 2017, 08:01:55 AM
My best sport is football and I always place bets because it is a sport I understand really well especially on my football team, Chelsea Fc.
Just like last week, I won the bet I placed on Chelsea against Spurs.
My second game I place bets on is car racing though I most of the time lost, I just do that for the fun of it.
1130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If money would not be a problem, would you still gamble? on: August 25, 2017, 08:31:39 AM
I will continue to gamble because, if according to what you wrote, I have enougg money, I wouldn't worry about losing. So I will just gamble for fun and not for money
1131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you do with your winnings? on: August 22, 2017, 08:24:48 PM
If I have a winning bet that gives me a lot of profit, I will invest my profit in a lucrative business to depend on during unfortunate days when I won't anything from gambling. And I will continue to gamble with the capital and hope to win more..
1132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: August 21, 2017, 06:04:04 PM
Igamble for both, sometimes for fun and sometimes for profit. It all depends on the amount of cash on me. When I'm out of cash, I gamble for profit but when I'm with cash, I gamble for fun...
I am a fan of football and I stake my bets almost everyday for fun or profit.

1134  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: August 19, 2017, 10:15:20 PM
I so much believe in the future of bitcoin. Though there might be some setbacks now, I believe bitcoin has come and has come to stay. Bitcoin has helped so many people in earning money and therefore will continue to increase and with more people coming into the system, bitcoin will be fully established. So I say, bitcoin has a future
1135  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: August 19, 2017, 02:26:59 AM
15 years is relatively small for Bitcoin to replace Dollar, but ut can happen probably in the next 25-30 years if Bitcoin continues to increase in value. So in my opinion, Yes, Bitcoin can replace dollar
1136  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: August 18, 2017, 07:42:11 PM
Yes, I do believe Bitcoin can affect a country's economy positively, but it all depend on the people.
As an individual is the basic unit of a country, if Bitcoin is able to raise the standard of living of an individual who understand and uses Bitcoin, such an individual will contributes his to the development of his society, thereby afftecting the nation's economy positively.
As I mentioned earlier, it all depend on the people, the larger the number of people who are into Bitcoin, the better the economy of a country can be.

1139  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What Came First, the Chicken or the Egg? on: August 14, 2017, 09:19:38 AM
This is has been a question of debate for a very  long time, with so many people people supporting either sides. Some believed that without the egg, there wouldn't be a chicken, while others believed that without the chicken, there wouldn't an egg. But to me, I believe that without the chicken, there wiuldn't be an egg, so the chicken comes first
1140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: August 11, 2017, 10:49:53 AM
Ithink Bitcoin can survive after 100 years due to its stable foundation. Though in 100 years to come, there will be so many changes in the digital world, I believe Bitcoin can survive those changes and therefore will last for more than 100 years
