Despite all the rumors you read on the internet about Kylian Mbappe, I also think that Luis Enrique will expect him to come back into the team and do well this season. I wouldn't fully believe that Kylian Mbappe will be frozen out of the team, but it could happen if PSG's and both sides' approaches don't really pay off. The situation becomes difficult sometimes not because of the cases of the players involved with the team, but the media can exaggerate it for personal gain by getting a lot of interest. Real Madrid is one of the top teams in the laliga league, and I believe this squad will perform well if Bellingham is playing with them on the pitch because of his recent performances, which have made me feel good about real Madrid. A lot of teams competing in the champion league must put in a lot of effort to ensure that they reach the final stage as well, but I believe Real Madrid always has the spirit to compete in the champion league until the final stage or semi final stage. Many people have doubts about Joselu but we cannot conclude this quickly. The season will run and at the end we can see whether Joselu can become a player who really supports Madrid's appearance or not. I don't expect much from Joselu, but seeing other compositions such as the support of Bellingham, Vini and Rodrygo can complement Joselu shortcomings. This is where a solid team will be built with cohesiveness with each other. While waiting for Arda Guller to recover, Madrid will open up a bit, considering Guller skills can be the right answer. Arda Güler is not the answer to Real Madrid's current center-forward vacancy. Arda Güler is an attacking midfielder who can also play on the right wing so I don't see Ancelotti really needing him if Bellingham is doing well. Perhaps Arda Güler will play as a winger or attacking midfielder if he returns from injury, but only as a substitute when the main plan is working or Ancelotti is struggling to find a game-winning solution. Today, I read in several media that AC Milan is currently being linked with several clubs such as PSG to bring in Etikite, De Katelaere who is being linked with Atalanta, Lorenzo Colombo who is being linked with Genoa and Cagliari. As well as agent Malick Thiaw who offered this player to Real Madrid worth 30 million euros. AC milan has loaned out so many players in this transfer market, So, Milan need to bringing in new players to prepare for the new season. At least Milan have recruited 8 players in the transfer market. They are quite active and without them Milan really wants to increase their chances of winning the title this season by increasing the quality of their team. Marco Sportiello, Luka Romero, Noah Okafor, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Tijjani Reijnders, Yunus Musah, Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze are the names of the players they recently signed. I don't really know if Milan need all these players or if Milan are looking for something that will benefit them from a business point of view. Obviously I don't know exactly what their policy is, but for sure Milan will be expected to be strong over the next season considering the players they have in their squad. |

Mbappe said he wanted to stay in psg and leave for free next summer, and that is what's happening, nothing about that changed, the only change in all of this is that psg said he was going to be frozen out of the team if he didn't sign a new contract and that he wasn't going to play any game this season, but that is not what they have done, they have brought him back into the team, even though he hasn't yet extended his contract with psg. Psg are not a club with strict policies, they are building their team around a single player who is probably going to leave them next season, this is why they aren't going to win the champions leaue yet. Kylian Mbappe is a major star at PSG so naturally the team has been built around him. But Luis Enrique has his own policies about which players he will choose in a match plan and which not, including freezing Kylian Mbappe from the main line-up. Even I don't think this will actually come true for Mbapee because PSG doesn't have a really reliable striker as reflected in the first match of Ligue 1 some time ago. PSG really struggle to win games without Neymar, Mbappe and Messi and it's very different when those three are around. At least PSG has a better chance of winning the game with 3 forwards like last season, but yesterday's match was difficult. |

Neymar may think that he is already not in his best career anymore. He only wants to enjoy playing football in the rest of his career. Although he is still 31 years old, he is getting often injured. It is not a good sign for his career, he can't have a long career if he can't fix the injury problem. Barcelona shouldn't have made move for Neymar they did the right thing nit to even bid. Xavi was also angry with the way the game ended yesterday night. Fans are not happy. Yes, it was the win that Diego Simeone was hoping for and they did well. On Joăo Félix, Barcelona might make a move for him if Ateletico Madrid weren't asking such a high price. Barcelona started working on signing a right-back from the sale of Dembele, but Xavi has several options for the position. Barcelona also had an unpleasant moment in the first match of the season. They repeated it like last season where Rayo Vallecano managed to hold Barcelona's troops to a draw, but I'm sure that doesn't reduce Barcelona's chances of defending the title. Manchester united capitalized on the game and stole it at a moment we were starting to think the game was gonna end in a draw. If I wanna be neutral I'll say Manchester united didn't deserve the win they got tonight as a draw would have made the game parallel for both sides. The team was struggling and not possessing the ball as we had expected for a team like Manchester United against an average EPL team like wolves. If they continue this way then they're going to experience a hard season ahead. You are free to have your say about the performance and the outcome of the game but I do not agree that winning is not deserved. Manchester United struggled to win the game and they struggled to do so throughout the first half, but it all came midway through the second half. Wolves had many good chances to score, but poor finishing didn't help them get a goal until the end of the game. For me it was a very interesting match, I mean both teams have a threatening game. Wolves tried harder to score goals, but they had to admit today's loss to Manchester United. No regrets, they have tried. |

Mbappe has always been like that and PSG knew this as a team and they still wanted to offer that much to him. If you accept a players behaviour when they do something, you can't be mad that he did exactly who he said he is. Real is not working hard to get him anymore neither, they do not need a player that would act like this on their club neither. We are talking about someone who has been doing something for a long time and PSG gave him the biggest contract outside of Saudi Arabia, the biggest amount in all of europe ever, and that meant to Mbappe that he is welcomed the way he is. That dude plays for money and he really plays JUST for money, I bet if he got offered higher amount of money doing something else, he would just go do that. I wouldn't be able to argue about that possibility on Kylian Mbappe's part. Whether he plays for money or plays for himself or for the good of his team is his business. We just enjoy his good looks, but on the other hand things related to him are worth mentioning. Real Madrid will consider Kylian Mbappe's attitude before they offer him a contract. Mbappe infuriated PSG with his attitude towards the team, clearly not reflecting anything worthy of being called a mature star player. At first the normal expectation would be that Barcelona wins this, but I have to say that I am also a bit surprised about their formation and the line-up in general. This doesn't make the quality of their squad much lower per se, but I think it is kind of unexpected and the players might not be used to it. I don't know, but it is one of these Barcelona games. They control the ball essentially all the time, but can't turn the possession into dangerous attacks or goals yet. You know, Getafe really seems to have managed to provoke some of the Barcelona players with their tough game. Some of the violent fouls committed by the Getafe players made several Barcelona players emotional which in the end Raphinha made unnecessary mistakes. It seems unsportsmanlike because I think it's wrestling in some segments, but it's a successful strategy for Getafe. Raphinha was shown a red card after his elbow hit Gastón Álvarez in the face, this would completely change Barcelona's chances of winning the game. The first half was nothing but Raphinha had some good chances. |

Chelsea played well in today's match, their performance was incredible. I wasn't expecting them to perform so well in today's match, I was expecting a win from Liverpool, but it wasn't really an easy match for the two clubs. Chelsea dominated the match, especially in the second half of the game, but they missed lots of opportunities that they should have converted into goals. It's a really nice start from Chelsea. Let's see how they are going to perform in the subsequent matches to come, but their performance today shows that there is a great improvement in Chelsea's performance, and the players that they signed are really worth it. It's true, Chelsea played well today against Liverpool and they seem more focused from a strategic point of view. Pochettino seems quite capable of improving the quality of Chelsea's game this season if he can give his all for the team. I know Pochettino needs time to get his players to play at their best, but so far his strategy has been working. |

Barcelona has named a strong line up for the first game of the season withe two of the new players (Gundogan and Romeu) making their debut.
I expect a routine victory for Barca despite playing away from home or what will be home for this season.
With the injuries rocking Madrid, Barcelona has a chance to take advantage should they slip up early on in the season and would have to handle their end of business to make that happen.

I've reviewed the line-up and formation Xavi used away from Getafe. Admittedly this is a bit different as it seems Xavi has put Oriol Romeu in central midfield instead of defensive midfield. Xavi also didn't play in a 3-attack formation today where Pedri got the job as an attacking midfielder. I don't know if it will work or not, but I think Barcelona will win this match. Hopefully Barcelona won't have too much trouble winning their first game. Ilkay Gundogan and Oriol Romeu are getting their debuts soon and I hope they really can be expected to do as well as their coaches and fans want them to. Regarding the final score, my guess is 0-2 for Barcelona's first win this season. |

Despite how Burnley play way better under Vincent Kompany, they have a better chance playing the all out defense and counter attack than going toe to toe with Man City in a possession battle. Manchester City loves when the opponents comes out to play, when the opponents is not defensive. This leaves aot of spaces at the back. Burnley don't have the quality of players Man City has to pay that kind of football against them and win. That's by the way though. I would really love to see how this Burnley team does this season. This is a team that have always played the ancient traditional football of FBs that are actually defenders and just defenders, not players that join in the attack. They were not used to the modern football style of playing football but Kompany has changed that and it has worked so far. They won the championship last season. One thing I'm looking forward to is how they play this season. Would they turn out to be a force like Brighton or they'll just be another Sheffield United. Yes, it doesn't matter what strategy Vincent Kompany will implement against Manchester City in the first match of the Premier League. Manchester City is a team that is ready to face all kinds of opponents regardless of whether they want to play some good football or just want to hang around the defensive area until the game is over. The fact is that Manchester City only needed 1 goal to win the match if Burnley played with a total defensive strategy. The consequences of playing with high tension in defense will not always be good for trying to get points from more dominant opponents, it's too risky if players make mistakes when anticipating attacks.
