5 points after 5 rounds is completely fucked up, of course  Grin I don’t think that the parallel failures of United and Newcastle somehow reassure Chelsea fans because it was supposed that this would be a season for them with a complete focus on the Premier League (while other clubs are putting their energy into European competition), but so far there is nothing but failures. And I don’t think that Pochettino has time until January, if the team does not start defeating at least weak and average opponents, he will be fired.
If there is anyone to blame, then I agree that Pochettino definitely deserves the blame. His strategy did not make Chelsea better in some of matches in terms of performance, of course that is a shortcoming that will reduce Pochettino's time as coach. There is no proof from him, as he said before, that he can restore Chelsea's performance and make them compete at the top, but in fact he has still failed so far.

We all know that Chelsea has spent so much money, but as we can see that it is just in vain. Chelsea's biggest disadvantage this season is that they don't have many players including strikers who are able to change the game for the better.

For Tottenham, this will be their sixth unbeaten game and I'm sure Postecoglou will be more than please with his boys for maintaining confidence and calm even when their first goal which came from Brennan Johnson was cancelled and were down by a goal.
The goal by Richarlison in the 90+8 minutes surged their hopes and the late goal to seal their fate came in the 90+11 by Kulusevski. Tottenham have once again shown domination and I'm especially pleased for Richarlison as this is his first goal of the season and probably the second or third since his move from Everton and I could tell how desperate the Brazilian has been and coupled with injuries that has kept him out of action for sometime this goal really means a lot to him.
Yes, it was an epic comeback from Tottenham. I didn't watch how they did it, but scoring 2 goals in 2 minutes was unexpected. Moreover, Sheffield almost ensured their victory in this match because Tottenham couldn't score a goal until 7 minutes of injury time, but unfortunately Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski got the best momentum to win 3 points today.

An unexpected defeat certainly came to Manchester United today. Ten Hag had to accept defeat for the third time after previously losing to Tottenham and Arsenal. With that Manchester United are really in big trouble as it seems Ten Hag has lost a lot of control to get his team back in top form.

Quite an interesting development for Athletic Bilbao this season. I have always thought that they are a pretty strong team and they mostly benefitted from their defensive strength in the past, but that has become weaker for a while. Maybe this season they can become at least a competitor that has to be taken seriously for the first 6 ranks in the table again as they have often been a candidate for participation in the Europa League.
Bilbao successfully won 3 important points today at home against Cadiz. Thus, Bilbao has collected 10 points from 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss. This has left them in second place in the standings, but is very likely to be displaced when Girona and Barcelona finish their matches.

For another match, Atletico Madrid seems to have to give up on Valencia at Mestalla. Valencia has a 3-0 lead over Atletico Madrid which is likely to put Diego Simeone under a lot of pressure. This is the first defeat for Atletico Madrid this season, but they have already dropped 2 points against Real Betis. Meanwhile, Real Betis will visit Barcelona in a few hours, but they realize that Barcelona is the favorite at home.

Looks like Manchester City won't do any mistakes. Even though they concede a goal they can easily convert the score. West Ham United was a team that was appreciated for their success in the first weeks of the league, but they couldn't show any presence against Manchester City. It'll be very hard for other teams to compete with this City.
In fact, Manchester City struggled a bit in the first half because West Ham, who implemented a defensive and counter-attacking strategy, really played well. West Ham scored the first goal through a counter-attack, they also managed to create several other opportunities using the same scheme. But they couldn't stop a team that dominates the game and is also able to create lots of chances like Manchester City. The match ended with the score 1-3, Doku, Bernardo Silva and Haaland each scored a goal, and this was a tiring match.

Haaland really didn't give up in this match. He looked happy after scoring a goal for his team to win. Haaland really had difficulty breaking into West Ham's goal because Areola didn't give him any chances at all, but in the end Haaland managed to score after 4 or 5 of his chances were saved by Areola. But in the end Areola had to give up after Haaland's hard shot meant he had to pick up the ball in the net.

If there was confidence that Haaland would not go anywhere, then City probably would not seek to extend his contract with significantly increasing his salary, right? Why if there are still a few more years?
As for the Ballon d'Or, last season Haalnad broke some historical records, became the top scorer in the Premier League and the Champions League, but did not come close to receiving it  Grin
Of course, Haaland can leave but that's why I say Haaland will not leave anytime soon because Manchester City have the power to extend his contract. Regarding the Ballon d'Or, of course Haaland can win it with Manchester City, even if he doesn't get it this season considering the competition between players. If Haaland is able to break many other records with Manchester City, I believe he will be able to win the award in his second season.

It is true, for whatever reason, this season and next season Haaland will not be going to Madrid, so he is quite wrong in choosing players based solely on their abilities, plus Haaland has not shown any interest in joining Real Madrid. Apart from that, Madrid has been interested in Mbappe for a long time and this is already known to the public, but it is quite strange how he explains the movement of the football player market in the opposite way.
I don't think it's anything strange, but if he really gets that rumor discussed elsewhere then I can only say that it's an irresponsible rumor. Haaland will not be going anywhere in the near future because he can achieve everything with Manchester City, including winning the Ballon d'Or. Playing for Real Madrid might be good for him if he gets bored and needs a new challenge, but I don't believe that will happen any time soon.

Kylian Mbappe looks more likely to move to Real Madrid as he has been interested in the team for a long time and the two parties have spoken about signing plans although they have failed so far. Real Madrid are likely to get Mbappe in the near future, but they are reluctant to spend a lot of money this season to bring him in.

James Maddison does great work. He received admiration from the fans in every match last month. I can't understand why big teams ignore some players. James Maddison is a player who can play in any team and he shows this in every match.

If you watch the matches carefully, James Maddison knows very well where he should be on the field. He plays better every match and continues to improve. One of the things I'm curious about is how it will perform against a tough opponent.
I agree that James Maddison is one of the players who has shown good form in the last 4 matches. Maddison has scored 2 goals and 2 assists, and he has also managed to become MotM 1 time in 4 appearances. Maddison is also still young and I think he will soon reach the peak of his career before he reaches 30 years old.

I think James Maddison can still develop with Totteham if he trains hard, but he is an attacking midfielder who by nature is not always expected to score goals. His performance is certainly good at the moment, so I won't doubt his quality in the match against Sheffield tomorrow.

Halland is doing very well at Manchester City and Manchester City are willing to increase the amount of money to keep him in the team, what are the chances of Halland leaving Manchester City to join Real Madrid. Real Madrid are certainly keeping an eye on Halland and Mbappe. Which one of these two players will Real Madrid try to land?
It is not impossible that Haaland could be in the Real Madrid uniform in the coming seasons, but I don't think it will happen in the near future. Haaland is a good striker for any team, in fact I also agree that Haaland would suit Barcelona. Of course Barcelona and Manchester City are not much different in terms of play, but Haaland will probably stay at Manchester City longer instead of having adventures at many clubs in various leagues.

As Halland has been performing well at Manchester City, the chances of the player leaving Manchester City for Real Madrid are a bit higher as opposed to Mbappe as he has been underperforming at PSG for the past few seasons.
If either of these two stars can be signed by Real Madrid then Real Madrid's XI will be better than any other club.
Lol, I don't understand how you can come to a conclusion like that, but I think Mbappe is more likely to be expected by Real Madrid than Haaland. These two strikers have different playing styles, but in my opinion Mbappe seems to be the striker that Real Madrid has been looking for so far. Mbappe's skills and finishing are something that could be useful for Real Madrid, so I'm inclined to choose him instead of Haaland.

Maybe they are not the biggest threat in terms of losing against them, but they were the team along with Manchester City last season who had the least overall losses in the Premier League. While I am not too confident that they will win most of their games in the group stage of the Champions League, I do think that it will be difficult to beat them. The point differences could be very narrow at some point due to a couple of draws. That could still make the group interesting to watch.

We also look at the group and we don't really know the details yet that will be relevant once the time comes and those games take place. There can be injuries and suspensions as well. If Milan has bad luck and loses two key players, the odds might change in favor of Newcastle maybe.
Of course, but I will not intend to debate the big or small possibility of the chances of the 4 teams in Group F. For me all the matches in Group F will be very difficult and I myself am not really sure who has the right to qualify for the round of 16 big. If Milan and PSG qualify, then of course that is good, but if Dortmund and Newcastle qualify then that is amazing.

This team's performance has been unpredictable for a number of reasons, but I have noticed that Newcastle's defense this season has looked weak. Newcastle have conceded 7 goals in their last 4 matches, but I can have more confidence in Newcastle if they manage to beat Milan and PSG in the first leg. Anything is possible, of course.

Newcastle United can be considered as an underdog in Champions League but they are different than Napoli, an underdog in the last season. Napoli actually competed for Scudetto many seasons and they even played in Champions League very often. They are different than Newcastle Unites, just have a chance to play in Champions League after many years.
That's right, I agree with you. Newcastle is not the favorite team that is likely to be expected to progress to the round of 16 compared to Dortmund, PSG and Milan. I never know if their fan base is in this thread, but Newcastle only managed to get a few people's attention about how good they were last season.

~~~
They are not familiar with Champions League and it is a big challenge for them. It is barely seen a newbie in Champions League can succeed in their first season. Will Newcastle United be different? I guess they won't be like that but they can use this season as a good chance to improve their quality and competitiveness.
Newcastle is likely to be no different to most other teams in the Champions League this season.
Eddie Howe is not a coach who has much experience in the Champions League so this could affect his ability to minimize unexpected mistakes. I believe Newcastle can pick up some points in the group stages, but I don't think they are ready to progress to the last 16 if they are not able to beat PSG, Milan and Dortmund.
Coach mentality, player mentality, squad depth, the right strategy and experience can be some of the factors that play a role in the Champions League. Newcastle have been out of the Champions League for two decades and they don't seem to have much confidence in proving their ability to differentiate themselves from the latest teams to qualify for the same competition.
~~~
In the last 2003 Newcastle played in the European Champions League. Means after 20 years ago Newcastle played in the highest competition of Europe and for Magpies fans their support last season was successful after Newcastle was taken over by Public Investment Fund (PIF) from Mike Ashley.

Their history in the Champions League at that time failed to qualify. My doubts about their breakthrough this season were also strong after they joined a group with the team that you mentioned.
Eddie Howe is a great coach who handles Newcastle at the OT, his greatness to handle The Magpies might not continue here. If they fail this season for me natural. I would be surprised if Eddie Howe was able to pass Newcastle from competition with PSG, Dortmund and AC Milan.
Eddie Howe certainly has good skills as a coach, but I wouldn't consider him too big for the Champions League. The atmosphere of this competition is very different from the Premier League, so things are never easy for him.
792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can money be saved in gambling sites? on: September 14, 2023, 03:04:06 PM
Actually, it's okay if you save money in your gambling account for whatever reason, but we don't know what the future holds for these gambling platforms
Of course that's a bad idea, unless that's your gambling budget.
Saving money on gambling platforms for any reason including investment is not recommended, of course because of the risks. Gambling platforms may freeze your budget due to rule violations you are not aware of, casino bankruptcy, forced closure or other reasons. So don't take a big risk in choosing a casino as a place to store your money, it's not good advice.

For some reasons, you can still use gambling platforms. But I never think that you will be completely safe keeping your investment assets in the long term in a casino even though they have a good reputation over the years.

Newcaslte's presence in the Champions League this season is not a coincidence, but they do deserve a place in the Champions League. And their presence in this group is one of the big threats to other clubs who are more experienced in the Champions League. I won't be surprised if they get through the group stage, even if they win the group. Their performances are improving day by day, it is a factor that they are indeed one of the clubs that will make it difficult when dealing with other clubs that have bigger names here. And honestly, I'd like to see them go further in the Champions League.

We have a new favorite coming from the Premier League.
I don't think Newcastle will be a big threat to some of Europe's top teams in the Champions League group stages considering we never know whether Newcastle has a good mentality. It is true that Newcastle's good performance last season in the Premier League was an important factor in getting them to the group stage, but their performance at the start of this season was not very good.

Meanwhile, Newcastle have yet to prove anything whether they deserve to be considered the new favorites in the Champions League, but of course all the teams that will play against them will be wary of Newcastle. PSG, Dortmund and Milan are probably still the best compared to Newcastle, so I wouldn't be surprised if Newcastle failed either.

Is there a way to know how many spendable merits are going to expire soon ?  If not, it should be included in profile if possible.
The conclusion you can come to from your question is, the current Merit will not expire or decay until theymos add new rules to the system. So you can still use your sMerit at any time regardless of whether you got it from an airdrop or from another user. You can find out how much sMerit you can spend, but it will probably be the same if theymos start implementing sMerit expiration limits.

krishnaverma, can I know why it is good to add?

For the past two seasons, Everton has found themselves to be lucky and escaping from being relegated out of the premier league. Starting poorly at the beginning of the season is what they are known for. Who knows whether they will pick up with good performance in the long run or depend solely on luck to see them through their premier league matches?

The premier league is becoming as competitive as ever. And Everton is not showing up a good performance like they want to remain in the premier league standings. Everton is supposed to have a complete reshuffle of players. The management should sign quality players to save the team from being relegated this season because it is now obvious they are heading to relegation this season.
Everton certainly has to perform better if they want to stay in the Premier League next season. It is certainly hoped that a squad overhaul can be one solution, but they also need to think about who is the right coach to lead the team for their project.

It's useless if they spend hundreds of millions to have good squad depth while the quality of the coach is not as good as expected. The project will not run smoothly so the impact may not be achieved, but of course the team has to improve gradually rather than doing it totally. Everton must learn from Chelsea's mistakes if they want to improve, so they still have to consider things carefully.

You probably mean Group B. Because Arsenal are not in Group F. Group F teams are PSG, Dortmund, Newcastle and AC Milan. And Group F is the toughest group in this year's Champions League. Every team has a chance to qualify for the knockout rounds.

If we talk about Group B, there is no way to say that other teams in this group are weak except Arsenal and PSV. Sevilla and Lens are strong enough teams. However, the recent performance of these two teams is very bad. This is why PSV and Arsenal are expected to top the table. And these two teams will qualify for the next round. Sevilla and Lens are strong enough. If they can sort out the problems within the squad, it will not be easy for PSV to qualify for the next round.
No, I mean apart from group F, there is no other group that is heavier than that, including group B.
You are right that Sevilla and Lens are teams that cannot be underestimated even if they are not favorites to qualify. PSV and Arsenal also haven't proven anything to us that they can beat their competitors in the group without any problems, however, the performance of the two teams in their respective leagues might be used as a benchmark for analyzing opportunities.

In group B the favorites are Arsenal and PSV, but as I said, Sevilla and Lens also have the opportunity to win points in every match that will await them in the group stage. We can only speculate, but it all depends on the performance of each team.

The Champions League competition is very mentally draining so PSV can easily go down or vice versa. It depends on whether the players are ready or not to face a club as big as Arsenal which is in top condition. However, PSV's motivation is still quite high and they don't want to slump at the start of the season. I will not doubt PSV's performance in the last few matches which seems to produce solid matches. On the other hand, Arsenal also needs to reconsider, Arteta cannot make the wrong decision again because his return to the Champions League must be utilized well. At least getting through the group preliminary round in my opinion will not be too difficult when compared to other groups.
Apart from Group F, there is no group that will be really tough for the favorite team. Arsenal are the favorites in my opinion, so they shouldn't disappoint because I know the quality of the team at the moment. PSV of course has a chance to qualify, but I'm sure other teams also have the same chance.

I agree that PSV is also good to look forward to, but who would have thought that Sevilla who are currently not in good shape might be a surprise. Sevilla cannot be underestimated even if they are not in good form in La Liga, so 3 teams between Arsenal, PSV and Sevilla are likely to qualify for the next round.

Its dominance in the Bundesliga is no longer in doubt, whereas Borussia Dortmund, which is thought to be able to break Munchen dominance, has also not succeeded in doing so. Regarding the Champions League competition, in general I agree with your point. It can be said that Munchen will go smoothly in the group phase, at least finishing in second place is enough to advance to the quarter-finals. If the quarter-finals are met with easy opponents, of course, the really tough opponents will be in the semi-finals and finals.

However, I have seen Bayern Munchen fail several times in the Champions League Final, even though this season they deserve to be on the favorites list. The addition of Harry Kane and Kim Min Jae is a form of FC Hollywood seriousness in winning the UCL trophy, but this cannot be a guarantee. I feel that Munchen was really strong in the UCL when they were still supported by Riberry, Robben and Lewandowski, after that Munchen looked normal.
Bayern Munich is always named as one of the favorite teams in every edition of the Champions League. Last season they were also favorites, but failed and are still failing. Of course their success in the Champions League has not been the same compared to several seasons ago, but Bayern Munich is still a strong team in this competition.

Bayern Munich's squad depth this season is good, but I don't make them the main favorites to win the title. Manchester City, Real Madrid, Inter and Bayern Munich are the order of favorites this season in my opinion, but all this is just my assumption based on the performance of each team so far.

Well, I actually do not know what exactly to say, but yeah, very much agree with you, though I still believe that the coach and the players should be the most celebrated which I believe the are, for it is their unity and agreement to work in one accord that have made them the strong team that they have become today.

The entire crew still deserve some accolades for their contributions in all that Manchester city have been able to achieve, but then, the greater potion should always go to the coach and the players, they are the ones in the war front and whether their squad be defeated or not; is in their hands .
I know that, so I just plural with one management.
But By the way, they have a very interesting away game this weekend. Manchester City travel to West Ham for Week 5 of the Premier League, so I think this is a match worth looking forward to.

To be honest, we probably know who the favorites are in this match, but West Ham seems to have performed very well at the start of this season. West Ham is unbeaten with a total of 3 wins and 1 draw, so I am really curious whether West Ham will be able to maintain its form in the home game or even suffer its first defeat to Manchester City.

Manchester City improvement is not just about how much players they brought into the club,  the club have been doing well even before some of this players came into the club. Manchester City is a very organised club that knows how to do things according,  Pep Guardiola is one of the important reasons why Manchester City are doing well with their performance, he is a good coach with good understanding of making good use of player's and bringing the best from them. Haaland is not the reason why Manchester City is good in performance,  the team have always been good in performance, Haaland is in Manchester City to spice  up the performance of the team more.
Manchester City's success in the Premier League is not just about the players and coaches, but everyone who is under the same management has supported their success so far. This respect is not only directed at players and coaches, so this respect should also be conveyed to all staff and management during this time.

Pep Guardiola is one of the many reasons why Manchester City is as successful as it is now, and I agree with that. Manchester City's finances have enabled management to successfully change their team's appearance in the last 6 seasons, this is also another reason why they are successful. Pep Guardiola has made Manchester City the most fearsome team in the Premier League and in Europe, an impression that is proven by all their achievements so far.
