Personally I'm happy with imgur's decision to show my old images back in posts, so I don't have to restore them manually regardless of using a script or something. But I've actually switched to imgbb or to TalkImg to host my next image. I was disappointed with imgur, of course it caused me to delete the site from my bookmarks since the problem started.
My temporary solution is imgbb and TalkImg, the rest I know some people also use other image hosting services. It doesn't matter at the moment TalkImg is the most recommended on the forum.

I've been switching from imgur to imgbb for quite a while due to better settings, no failures whatsoever so far. If I had to vote for image hosting other than talkimg, I'd go with imgbb. The only annoying thing is that maybe you'll see ad pop ups after several page switches. Apart from imgur, I also used imgbb for a long time. So far I haven't had much trouble with ads as it only takes me a minimum of 1 minute to upload the image and get the link, but I think TalkImg is also good recommendation. I haven't tried TalkImg on many occasions but will probably give it a go since the service seems to be special-made for bitcointalk users. Imgbb and TalkImg are fine. |

I didn't think there were 'only' 58k active accounts, but when you think about it that's still a pretty high number for an old-school discussion forum. If signature campaigns went away, though? I bet that number would drop off a cliff in a heartbeat. I saw that how pep was only giving its key players agianst chelsea when the game was almost end. Intermilan is also preparing itself to face haaland and its team mates. Some people will definitely agree with you because in many match, Pep Guardiola's strategy may not be effective against teams that can defend completely and only counterattack. This scenario has certainly been thought of and probably will be considered by Simone Inzaghi, but Pep Guardiola also has a dangerous weapon this season where Haaland is a dangerous player in the opponent's defense. I see no reason to not be active here  Lol, other people will say that too, but really they never know what tomorrow will bring. You know, less than a month ago my colleague was diagnosed with liver cancer which required him to be treated intensively until now. He had to temporarily quit his job which he had no intention of quitting. His health condition forced him to stop working, so I think until that time comes I think every user will stop using this forum regularly regardless of the reason. May we all be given health and longevity to always do activities here until our fingers have to give up to be used to type every letter on the keyboard. |

I'm not sure about what the exact reason is, even when I created the same thread a few years ago on a local board. I was wondering why the number of forum users seemed to be shrinking from year to year, but it's clear that the reasons are sure to vary. I'm trying to get some data on the number of active users for the last 4 months and 20 days (1 January - 20 May 2023) so that we know how many users are still using the forum and posting regularly or occasionally. There are still at least 21,288 active users posting at least 1 post in that time span, but this number will still increase or decrease for the rest of 2023.
