161  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin price is falling down on: September 25, 2018, 12:39:11 PM

162  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: September 25, 2018, 08:55:14 AM

163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which one is better to buy altcoins or bitcoin on: September 25, 2018, 01:25:46 AM
I would prefer doing both, actually, I am holding Bitcoin in my wallet for over 5 months now and will continue to hold it for long-term. I have some altcoins too that have potentials, and most often every moment I continuously monitoring their price movement so as to decide whether it's still worth holding them or not.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How often do you check CoinMarketCap website? on: September 25, 2018, 01:07:49 AM
I usually check it multiple times a day to monitor the movement of the top coins especially my favorite ones so that I know what to do with them if it is time to dump it or continue hodling it.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will BTC dominate in 2018 or Etherium will take he lead? on: September 24, 2018, 08:00:59 AM
~snip~... and yes ethereum is one of those solutions.

Not correct. Although Bitcoin and Ethereum are both market leaders, and the same similarities as they can be used as digital payment but, I think Bitcoin has better technology than Ethereum. For the price; Bitcoin vs Ethereum, at the time of writing, Bitcoin is valued at $6,674.96 with a market cap of US$115,377,610,320 billion, while Ethereum is currently valued at $236.15, with a market cap of US$24,123,322,527 billion according to CoinMarketCap.com.

So, how can Ethereum take the lead if the gap between them is growing bigger and bigger? Bitcoin has a 5% growth over the last month, while the Ethereum price continues to crash.

166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Electroneum a SCAM??? on: September 24, 2018, 05:07:47 AM
When the Electroneum was conducting a bounty campaign, many at some point thought they were scammers and left the campaign - lucky ones who stayed in it and got a good payment!
When i was starting here in cryptocurrency a lot of people in my country is promoting electroneum and i am confident that it is not a scam, electroneum have raised a lot of money on there ico and even i dont invent on it, i know it is not a scam.

Definitely, Electroneum is not a scam. ETN is a privacy coin, a mobile-based platform and it is designed for smartphone users, more than 2 billion I guess. It can also be mined via smartphones, however, I don't know if it's productive.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TUT] Tutra - POS 51% - POW / on: September 23, 2018, 09:24:08 AM
This was the most awesome ANN i´ve ever read.

Clear vision of the Coin
Roadmap looks great
Lots of Info´s about Pools and how to mine
Detailed Whitepaper

The developers have thought this well through, cudos

Where did you read those? Huh The only clickable link in the 1st page is their window wallet and nothing more. Maybe, you also have read their smart contracts, it's not on your list please add it. Smiley
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: its time to buy ETH? on: September 20, 2018, 04:26:44 PM
I would say it is not yet a good time to buy. There is a long downwards trend that is continues to be. Until it will not break, I would not buy ETH! It might be, that I'm woring, but I would wait for a safer market condition.

I think it's normal for any cryptocurrency to goes up and down, it's like a roller-coaster or a common proverbial phrase, "what goes up must come down". It means that things change, and if something is increasing or rising, it will eventually decrease or fall. And that's what we always see in the crypto market, it's a normal occurrence.

Btw, the price of Ethereum at the time of writing is $210.65 it's up by a little 0.43%. Is it a good time to buy? Yes, I guess.

169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why the Ether will drop to $ 60 on: September 19, 2018, 01:33:51 PM
There are a lot of ICOs waiting to launch but are waiting for the right timing. I think once that happens Ethereum price will grow again.

Right timing? Because 99 out of every 100 ICOs are fraud or scam, the remaining 1 good ICO can't even reach the soft cap, so how can it help the price of ether to grow or go up again?
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Developer’s advices to ICO investor. on: September 19, 2018, 12:53:04 PM
Thanks for your advice guy. It's good and useful for newbie. I strongly agree that ICO projects must public their smart contracts on Github for everyone can audit. And it will be better if   there is a third party will audit their smart contracts. Some ICO don't have clearly information, no public smart contracts, no infor about total supply...etc

I've seen a lot of projects in the Bounties (Altcoins) that have no smart contracts, and some with whitepapers that have fake team, you can see some of them here, Scam Accusations Board.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: September 19, 2018, 12:30:33 PM
A certain smart contracts developer has a thread here, Developer’s advices to ICO investor and according to him and I quote, "Out of every 100 projects 99 is a fraud, or a scam, as we used to call it."

Quoted below is the full text...

Quote
Hello, dear investors and everyone who reads this.
Being a developer of smart contracts, I cannot stand aside of the current lawlessness in the ICO market.
Out of every 100 projects 99 is a fraud, or a scam, as we used to call it.
Please, read the following advices as a guide to verification of every ICO:
1. At the start of pre-ICO team should have a contract for automatic assets transfer, that contains a written set of rules for early investors – not on towel, not in the speaking form, but written in the smart-contract.  Otherwise, collected assets can just fall in the pockets of founders, or they can change rules of the game in the middle of act – there are many examples.
2. The contract for pre-ICO should be a part of a bigger contract on ICO and do not be different tokens – it is unsafe form a standpoint of vulnerability and withdrawal of funds.
3. The contract for pre-ICO, and then on ICO should have a lower and upper barrier - if it does not – the team does not know what it wants - just a scam.
4. The contract for ICO should have escrow of the funds, received as a result of placement - it can be a frieze or multiSig with a voting condition. This will give you a guarantee against the expenditure of funds earlier than the team completed the previous stage.
5. The contract should have indisputable return of funds condition, in case of not reaching the lower limit of the collected pool. It is in the contract and not in the white book, if it is not – move on, it’s just a scum.
6. All contracts must be posted on GitHub, this will enable third-party developers to check the contract for the vulnerability, if the team has not taken care and before the ICO has not posted a bounty on the vulnerability.
7. The contract must specify the conditions for the team and for the bounty’s for vulnerability.
8. The contract must specify the conditions for not traded tokens - with clearly defined deadlines.

This post is about having a standard. Everything in the end should have a standard - and together we can achieve it. If you do not invest in teams that do not adhere to basic security standards - they just won’t be able to steal your money.

I hope for a dialogue and a healthy discussion.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you still believe in bounties and Cryptocurrency? on: September 19, 2018, 10:08:47 AM
There's alot of people move out from Cryptocurrency some are for their loses and without experience, some are doing for in bounty campaigns but still not get result so I want to know behalf of that reason I have mention is correct. What do you think?

We need to believe in crypto currency and technology, there are a lot of good projects, we just need to choose and participate in the bounty campaigns of these projects, then everything will turn out. This takes time and patience

Yes, that's right. I guess people are coming here because of the project bounties, so their duty now is for them to choose which one they think would be the best to join after conducting a thorough research of the project.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Strict rules in Bounties, is it needed? on: September 19, 2018, 09:59:34 AM
Any program without rules and regulations is not well organized. A lot of bounty hunters like to cheat during bounty programs so it is very good to ensure strict rules and regulations.

Even if the CM seems to be strict and the bounty program's well organized it has nothing to do if after the ICO turned-out scam at the end. I think smart contracts and whitepapers are most important things to look-up into if it's a good project or not.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ethereum reach the top? on: September 18, 2018, 10:51:46 PM
Yes, I am very sure that the price of ethereum will rise very high and it will reach the top. It is a very potential and promising coin and with the good team and technology that it has and the more it becomes popular and used by icos, it will definitely reach the top.

Yes, that's true because everything is possible but difficult, and it applies to the number two coin, the Ethereum. For ETH to reach the top, it must surpass the current price of the leading crypto, Bitcoin. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is valued at $6,377.17, while on the other hand, the Ethereum price is at $210.80, so it's extremely difficult, right?
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: September 18, 2018, 10:32:06 PM
$BNB the ONLY coin where you can invest in the exchange. This will be a top coin for chinese/international traders. Eventually it will only be 100M supply.

Currently, I'm hodling BNB, because I believe it has a bright future, and also it's plus, the owner of Binance is a billionaire. So, I guess he will not allow BNB to be dumped but to go up high. What do you think, guys?
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 3 coins that will make X10 in 2018 on: September 18, 2018, 10:24:36 PM
3 coins that I believe are bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin. The coin has the greatest potential that exists today, because we know that the three coins will definitely provide a large and maximum profit. so we know we have to keep an eye on these three coins and have to get profit.

Yes, I believe these 3, bitcoin, ethereum, and litecoin have lots of potentials but we have only 3 and a half months left in 2018. So, for these coins current price to become 10 times before the year ends is not possible I think.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: can eth reach over 700 on: September 18, 2018, 10:11:07 PM
anyone beleive that eth will reach 700 in next 30 days .  i think last april it will reach 600 and next month it will reach 700

Yes, it is possible for Ethereum to reach the $700 level or over, but for the next 30 days, I think it seems difficult as time is running out for ETH to make it. At the time of writing, ETH is valued at $209.13 up by 6.03%, so let's find out!
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waves Sell Or Hodl? on: September 18, 2018, 09:44:21 PM
I have 100 Waves. Its price now falling down and down. I'm in Confusions Sell it or Hodl it now!

If I were you I will not. Wave has lots of potentials, a bright future and it has many benefits. Simply hodl your waves as many believe it's on its way to becoming one of the more popular cryptocurrencies. At the time of writing, Waves is up by 1.42% and is currently trading at $2.14, so if you sell your coins you'll get only $214. Can't you risk that amount?
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin now you think had a good future on: September 18, 2018, 09:16:07 PM
There are so many coins that deserve to be invest in but my favorite is still ethereum and bitcoin
It seems to me that if we started using Bitcoin as a payment tool in the whole world, this would solve the problem of the instability of the crypto-currency market. But to date, the Bitcoin rating has significantly decreased.

Bitcoin has long been used to pay products and services to companies and establishments. In fact, more than 100 companies are receiving Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as well, as valid sources of payment for their products. 180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is there a possibility that Ethereum will reach $200 this year? on: September 18, 2018, 08:57:48 PM
from $600 to $500 and going down every day is there a possibility that Eth will reach $200 this year? is there really a price manipulation like the conspiracy about tether what do you guys think?

This is absurd. Thats a ridiculous meltdown mate. That wont happen. Ethereum will stay in a range of $800-$500 thru mid year and at the end of the year it'll be as high as the year before. Ethereum is the heart of every crypto so it wont go down that easily.

I think you're wrong and it's not absurd or ridiculous meltdown as you have said, and it won't happen? It already happened twice! The 1st time is on Sep 11, 2018, where its price went down to a high of $198.51, and then on the following day, Sep 12, 2018, when it registered $185.59 - its lowest price ever recorded this year.
