I think it has something to do with the negative news that might be contributed to the recent price fall of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, such as news reports on government regulations and crackdowns on crypto trading. The latest of which are reports on South Korea and China indicates they're taking into account of banning crypto trading and/or implement tougher regulations.

ETH network difficult in 100% greater than was 3 weeks ago, meaning that if eth price does not increase then the "GPU mining will die in 2018!" will really start to become real and I can see many trolls regretting to be mining ehhe, soon if this trend keeps up we will see millions of gpu's piling up in the ebay by people trying to sell to other idiots their overpriced gpu's hehe

Hey, please stay on the subject, Re: GPU mining will die in 2018! Let's not talk about ETH network. GPU mining only dies this year, if there are no graphics cards available to be bought anywhere. Are you aware of this news, Nvidia Tries to Limit GPU Sales to Cryptocurrency Miners? If that happens, because of the limited supply of graphics cards price soars high and only few can afford to buy it, and therefore there's gigantic impact on GPU mining but it will not die. Unless as I've said above, " if there are no graphics cards available to be bought anywhere". |

There are lots actually, and that includes; positive and negative media coverage... I think this is the number one causes that drove the price of Bitcoin and other cryptos. Second is politics. On November 9, 2016, the market plummet when Donald Trump was elected as US President, the price of Bitcoin that day was recorded at $726.36 and on January 3, 2017, Bitcoin price breaks $1000 for the first time in 3 years. In December last year, it almost reaches the $20,000 when it price time high of $19,783.21 was recorded on December 17. The 3rd cause is Cryptocurrency Regulations, as well as banning of Bitcoins and ICOs by some countries and/or governments. The 4th cause that drove Bitcoin price movement is the Chain Split or Hard Fork. I think there's no need to explain the last two because they're both popular in this forum.

i plan to use it to mine altcoins, may i know what is the best altcoin i should mine that give me the highest ROI, assuming i don't need to be worry about the electricity bill

May I know if this is designed for mining cryptos? There are lots who say it's not profitable mining on laptops as it only has a single graphics card. Also, what happens once this unit's graphics card (Nvidia Quadro P4000) malfunctioned, is it replaceable? |

What would you do if 100 Btc landed into your account? (unfortunately this has not happened to me yet)
I'd probably gave them back, I know is a lot of money but what would I do if I were the guy sending the coins ? I would really love to get them back, anyway 100 btc is 1M at the current price. What about if you found out the money is for the terrorist organization and it came from one of its financiers, you still return the money? |
