741  Local / Pamilihan / Re: CX - The Philippines' First Digital Currency Exchange on: March 03, 2018, 03:47:38 AM
So, CX or Coin Exchange is not yet operational as it says it is currently in private beta. So OP, how do we know when it would be operational? Thank you.

Siguro naman mag lalabas ng announcement ang Coins.ph or kaya naman mag lalabas sila ng announce din thru coins.ph wallet app or yung website.

I think it will take time because we do not have rules yet on cryptocurrency trading. Our Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is still in the process of crafting rules to regulate cryptocurrency transactions to protect investors and reduce the risk of fraud.

742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT - https://ton.fund/ - Telegram ICO (TON / GRAM) on: March 02, 2018, 01:46:23 AM
This looks pretty real and well done, but the site https://ton.fund/ is SCAM and it is NOT from Telegram!

In that case, why did you include "Telegram ICO (TON / GRAM)" in your subject title? I think it's unfair to malign Telegram ICO with these scams and/or phishing sites, (http://)ton.fund or (http://)ton-sale.com.

You can find all information about Telegram ICO her, https://icodrops.com/telegram-ico-ton/ and on their whitepaper
743  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Telegram TON bounty on: March 02, 2018, 01:19:58 AM
Who knows how to join Telegram TON bounty? And when does it start end end?
Telegram does not need any ICO\Bounty!

I don't think so. There's already a plan but the date or period of the token sale is not set yet.

Ticker: GRAM
Token type: OWN WALLET ICO
Token Price: 1 GRAM = 0.1000 USD
Fundraising Goal: 1,000,000,000 USD
Sold on pre-sale: 850,000,000 USD (81 SELECTED INVESTORS)
Total Tokens: 5,000,000,000
Available for Token Sale: 44%

744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Twitter campaign : Do i need to be at least Jr member ? on: March 02, 2018, 12:51:00 AM
Hi ,i have one question about bounties : For the twitter campaign, do i need to be at least Jr Member to apply ?

I see a lot who accept all, and even newbies to participate with their signature campaign. Yes, there are some who are very strict with the bounty programs and don't accept even a Full Member rank to join. So, I think it depends entirely on who manages and/or owned the project.
745  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Coins.ph wallet for ETHEREUM on: March 01, 2018, 04:13:22 AM
Sino dito po yung nka tanggap ng invite from coins.ph for beta testing s ilalaunch nilang ETH wallet po later ds year? Ano po masasabi nnyu dto?

I think coins.ph Ethereum wallet is here for quite some time now, but sad to say it's only available for Android users. And also, if you're an active cryptocurrency user, and have attracted their attention they will send you an invitation to test their Android wallet. Well, anyway, I think you can do it even without an invitation... you may try it below...

Your Ethereum wallet will be ready in minutes!<<<•• Click it and follow the steps below...

Step 1: Create a Coins.ph account, if you don’t already have one
Step 2: Swipe right to see your Ethereum wallet
Step 3: Tap the Send or Receive button
Step 4: Slide to create your wallet (you only need to do this once)
Step 5: Now just convert PHP to ETH. Your ETH will instantly appear in your wallet!

Wala pang Ethereum Wallet.

Maybe the one you're referring to is the CX or Coin Exchange. Yes, it's currently in private beta and not yet operational.  I think he Ethereum wallet @crairezx20 mentioned is here already for quite some time and but sad to say it's only available for Android.  Below are instructions on how you do it... in minutes!

Step 1: Create a Coins.ph account, if you don’t already have one

Step 4: Slide to create your wallet (you only need to do this once)

747  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Desktop / Gaming GPU vs Workstation GPU in mining on: March 01, 2018, 02:27:22 AM
Gaming GPUs have long been proven to be more effective for mining. Thats why gamers are mad at miners.
However, if you get hands on a good workstation designed for rendering, some workload GPUs like the TITAN V are much better monsters for mining.

It all boils down to what graphics card the computer has. The best thing to do will be to do dig into the computer specs and find out.

Well, you can't blame gamers to become mad at miners as they are to be blamed for graphics cards big price increase we are experiencing these days. And not only price increase but shortage, or short supply reportedly due to miners buying-frenzy (mostly in bulk) to build mining rigs.
748  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Napapansin niyo ba napapansin ko? on: February 28, 2018, 04:00:25 AM

Thank you...

Im sorry but I dont really know what is the meaning of "kapagbigayan". I am a millenial and I think most of our members here are the same. If they will be reading this title they might be confused so I think I will go with the term "pabuya" since it is more popular and known unlike the other one. That is just my suggestion, I do not want to offend anyone here.

It is a Tagalog-given name for Bounty. https://www.indifferentlanguages.com/translate/filipino-english/kapagbigayan. The term "pabuya" may also be considered but we know more about it in English as "reward" and this is used by the Spaniards during their time in the Philippines.

Maybe what you mean here is ICO project and not bounty campaign. So, I'm sharing this article, How Not To Be Scammed By An ICO and also this post/topic, Developer’s advices to ICO investor I simply quoted it below for everyone to read...

Quote
Hello, dear investors and everyone who reads this.
Being a developer of smart contracts, I cannot stand aside of the current lawlessness in the ICO market.
Out of every 100 projects 99 is a fraud, or a scam, as we used to call it.
Please, read the following advices as a guide to verification of every ICO:
1. At the start of pre-ICO team should have a contract for automatic assets transfer, that contains a written set of rules for early investors – not on towel, not in the speaking form, but written in the smart-contract.  Otherwise, collected assets can just fall in the pockets of founders, or they can change rules of the game in the middle of act – there are many examples.
2. The contract for pre-ICO should be a part of a bigger contract on ICO and do not be different tokens – it is unsafe form a standpoint of vulnerability and withdrawal of funds.
3. The contract for pre-ICO, and then on ICO should have a lower and upper barrier - if it does not – the team does not know what it wants - just a scam.
4. The contract for ICO should have escrow of the funds, received as a result of placement - it can be a frieze or multiSig with a voting condition. This will give you a guarantee against the expenditure of funds earlier than the team completed the previous stage.
5. The contract should have indisputable return of funds condition, in case of not reaching the lower limit of the collected pool. It is in the contract and not in the white book, if it is not – move on, it’s just a scum.
6. All contracts must be posted on GitHub, this will enable third-party developers to check the contract for the vulnerability, if the team has not taken care and before the ICO has not posted a bounty on the vulnerability.
7. The contract must specify the conditions for the team and for the bounty’s for vulnerability.
8. The contract must specify the conditions for not traded tokens - with clearly defined deadlines.

This post is about having a standard. Everything in the end should have a standard - and together we can achieve it. If you do not invest in teams that do not adhere to basic security standards - they just won’t be able to steal your money.

751  Local / Pilipinas / Re: WHEN BITCOIN WILL REPEAT ITS HISTORY CHART on: February 28, 2018, 02:16:42 AM
Hello Traders!

What can you say about the red Market today?

By the way paano kung uulitin lang ni bitcoin yun chart niya? I mean from the day it started hanggang ngayon, what do you think will happen to its value?
Kinuha ko ang chart ni bitcoin every year then ito yun napansin ko or hula ko lang naman.
Kapag uulitin ni bitcoin yun historical chart niya babagsak pa lalo yun value until it will reach $4k to $5k at the end of year 2018.
Patuloy yun pag struggle ni bitcoin hanggans sa year 2019. At the start of year 2020 baka nasa $4k to $5k pa rin ang value ng btc but it will rise up and doubled at the end of year 2020. So nasa $10k ang value ng isang BTC. Entering year 2021 jan magsisimula ang sky rocket ulet ni bitcoin which is mauulet yun chart niya ng year 2017 where in nag almost times 20 yun value ng BTC from the start of year 2017 until the 4th quarter ng 2017.
Kung sakali man na mangyari ulet yan ang magiging value ni BTC sa 4Q ng year 2021 is about

1BTC = $200,000.00 = P11,000,000.00

See photos of BTC yearly chart here >>>>

PAALALA!!!

I think it would not happen. Bitcoin popularity and its value increase rapidly soon after the election of President Donald Trump as the US President. Please take a look...

753  Local / Pamilihan / Re: HYIP,Ponzi Scam, Paano nga ba natin Maiiwasan ito ? on: February 28, 2018, 01:52:06 AM
HYIP or High Yield Investment Program, a Ponzi scheme. You should have to avoid investing a money for a short period of time with zero work, then you are looking at a Ponzi scheme. There are lots of websites out there that track your success of HYIP however you should not be fooled by this websites as they are also scam.

HYIP, Forex trading, binary options, stocks are all risky investments like bitcoin. When you invest in cryptos, such as Bitcoin it's also zero work as you have said. Btw, I know how to play with HYIP and AutoSurf. If you know how to trick these programs earning $100 a day was so easy, but I would not advise you to get involved with them as I've said they're risky, but if you do then invest only what you can afford to lose.

With regards to the subject, I don't think NOKOR is responsible. I think it's caused by too much media hype, price manipulations by the so-called Bitcoin Whales, and governments move about regulations and banning of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

755  Local / Pilipinas / Re: REPOST : Filipinos warned vs bitcoins, cryptocurrencies on: February 26, 2018, 03:01:40 PM

OP was posted on November 30, 2017, 02:17:46 AM (quoted below) and it's a news report from Philippine Daily Inquirer dated November 29, 2017. Don't know why you guys were talking about SCAM as it's not even mentioned. It's a warning about the risks of investing and/or buying Bitcoin. So, if only some of our countrymen listened to the WARNING they would have avoided the loss of their hard-earned money. I'm not against Bitcoin and other coins, but we must accept the fact that due to Bitcoin volatility investing in it is extremely risky. We saw the price of bitcoin climb from below $1,000 to nearly $20,000 in December 2017... and many rides, here and abroad thinking it will continue soaring high up to $20,000 and above, but they lose huge as Bitcoin plunged drastically.

Quote
Filipinos hoping to cash in on the bitcoin craze were warned by the chair of the House banks and financial intermediaries committee on Wednesday about the risks of investing in cryptocurrency, as the price of bitcoin surged to $10,000.

Eastern Samar Rep. Ben Evardone urged Filipino investors not to part with their hard-earned money by buying bitcoins in the hope of making quick profits.

At the hearing of the committee on banks and financial intermediaries Tuesday, officials from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the Securities and Exchange Commission, and representatives from the banking sector, “were one in advising the public against investing in bitcoin or any other virtual currency,” he said.

“They said it is very risky, speculative and [has] no safeguards,” Evardone said in a statement.

The price of bitcoin hit the $10,000 mark on Wednesday.

Evardone said Filipinos might get tempted into putting all their savings and retirement funds into bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies “without realizing that they could lose everything in one drastic plunge.”

Cryptocurrencies like bitcoin are a promising low-cost remittance platform for Filipino workers sending their earnings home but they are extremely risky investments due to lack of regulatory protections for consumers,” he said.

Bitcoins and other electronic currencies are not backed by a bank, any existing currency unit in circulation, or any asset of tangible value that offer some degree of security for its buyers.

“Investors stand to lose everything overnight if exchange platforms for cryptocurrencies shut down or when the consumer’s virtual wallet containing confidential information is hacked or stolen,” Evardone said.

He cited the biggest cryptocurrency hacking incident in February 2014 when $460 million worth of bitcoins was lost in Japan in the infamous Mt. Gox case.

Another cryptocurrency, tether, was the subject of the most recent hack early this month resulting in a reported loss of $31 million, according to Evardone.

Who can tell how much the project eventually raised funds, as I can not find information, and chat silent?

About 7 million USD was invested

Well, if that's true let us hope it will not fall into the pockets of founders. Otherwise, it's a mere drawing, and they just say so to attract more investors. Its really unbelievable one will invest in this project with no document or whitepaper to show and smart-contract (for automatic assets transfer) that contains a written set of rules for early investors.

An Uncertain Future of Mining or What to Do with Tons of Mining Rigs

If something goes wrong with cryptocurrency mining, all the hardware bought by miners can be used to train artificial intelligence.

“Mining payback will reduce significantly within a year, however it will be possible to restructure the equipment for a different function – cloud computing, including artificial intelligence development”, – says Boosteroid CEO Ivan Schvaichenko.

Boosteroid is a cloud services platform that provides convenient access to computing power, storages and software products.

Initially, the company planned to lease out mining equipment for AI development that needs more and more computing power. However later the team realized that they will be able to provide computing power for any tasks. Last December the company launched their first data center with a peak power of more than 0.5 petaflops in Ukraine. Yet in the beginning of February, 2018 Boosteroid starts building another data center in the free industrial zone of Kutaisi (Georgia).

ICO POOLING GROUP OPEN (No entry fee)

We actively make deals with ICOs we believe have good potential base on our research to get bonuses/discounts comparable to ICO private presale levels. We also do sub-pools with leading influencers in the field. Minimum investment amount for our usual deals is as low as 0.1 eth. Members are encouraged to do their own research and will have the freedom to choose whether to join in a particular deal.

Our group differs from others pooling groups:
  • We have a splendid track record - the SPREADSHEET of our PAST DEALS IS AVAILABLE in our groups for your reference.
  • We have a DEDICATED AND COMMITTED TEAM of 10+ ADMINS researching on prospective ICOs daily - we DO AMAs WITH ICO DEVELOPMENT TEAMS ourselves before deciding to go forward with the deal.
  • We roll out good deals on an active basis.
  • We never cut your bonuses from the back end (e.g. the operator got a 50% bonus offer but only telling the grp for 25%).

***LATEST ANNOUNCEMENT***:

  • We are delighted to announce that our IOLITE POOL is OPEN for contribution - for 24 HOURS.

Crypto market is emerging and by making the right choice, we can make real good $$$'s. What are the key for a ICO to be successful?

Add additional options if I miss in the voting options

How about adding Smart Contracts? I've read and found this post interesting, Developer’s advices to ICO investor here I quote the OP for everyone to read...

I hope for a dialogue and a healthy discussion.
