I thought for sure it would take until the end of 2018 but it looks like this summer ethereum might pass it up. With the turmoil around BTC potential splitting, it might be very soon. IMO this is healthy, we will always value bitcoin for being the one that started it all, but it's time for a more dynamic and adaptable currency to take the lead.
The above was posted last June 12, so now, you've found out that your thought and/or speculation is wrong. Bitcoin price now is nearing the planet of Mars at $7430 compared to that of Ethereum's $286.45... it's too far! So, how can Ethereum overtake Bitcoin with that wide gap? Hey everyone, We've received the bounty campaign data from irfan_pak10, but it looks like there are still some issues with Ethereum addresses that need to be resolved before we start distributing tokens to bounty program participants. We'll need some time to work out how best to proceed - we'll post an update on Monday. For now, please take note of the following: 1. It doesn't matter whether you use an ETC or ETH address. They are functionally identical. If you originally gave us an ETC address, there's no need to change it. 2. You have to be absolutely certain that you can access the address you provided (i.e. that you have the private key to it). Now's a good time to check it. Remember: if it turns out that the tokens have been sent to an address you can't access, no one will be able to help you! 3. As of yesterday evening, you can no longer change your address via bountyportals.com - the records have already been passed on to us and any change you make now will not carry over to our spreadsheet. If you want to take a risk and/or risk your Php500 transfer it to your BTC wallet, it's an investment. Bitcoin price and/or value is unstable and because of its volatility investing in Bitcoin is extremely high risk. So, invest only what you can afford to lose. Can you afford to lose that Php500? |

I agree. This is because the mining of concurrency today has become more competitive. A lot of people now are mining cryptocurrencies both big and small. And most of these miners are also in the focus of Bitcoin because of it's value. I am no expert at mining but I think when it comes to Bitcoin, what is better now is just investing and trading. Especially now that the Bitcoin value is going up, it is good to invest and monitor it's prices from time to time. This increase may go a long way as more people are getting into Bitcoin investment nowadays.
Yes, that's right. It's good to invest now because Bitcoin price trend is upward. I've read a news a couple of days ago that the major force behind this might be the surge in the trading volume of the Japanese and South Korean Bitcoin exchange market to the exit of Bitcoin traders in China. Accordingly, they accounted for more than 50% market share of the global Bitcoin exchange market. |

Recently, I have read a news from cryptocoinnews.com, Why the Mid-Term Trend of Bitcoin Price Relies on Japan and South Korea, so, maybe what's happening now on the up-trend price of Bitcoin has something to do with the entry of Japan and later on, South Korea in the cryptomarket that was left vacant by the exit of China Exchanges. I think they are the main force behind the rapidly increasing price of Bitcoin. |

Even the blind can see that crypto Currency is making people millionaires all over the world just because they present the holders of such currency with the financial freedom and opportunity to accrue large amounts of wealth base on currency investment . But my question is that, is it late to buy bitcoin? Should i wait maybe bitcoin price will decline after 1st August meeting? Please i will welcome your advice so that I can make my decision on crypto currency investment.
 When you penned this thread on July 6, 2017 Bitcoin price then was just $2615.64. So, if you buy it at that time and hold it you've got a lot of money right now because the price is at $6978.53 registered today (November 3, 2017, 08:00 AM local time) and nearing $7000 as of this writing. Is it too late to buy Bitcoin? My answer is NO. Analysts and experts say it would go beyond $100000 within the next 10 years and I strongly believe in them. |

Almost every country has unemployment problems. There are many young boys who are working unemployed. But the days of settling their turn are over. Now, if you wish, you can earn a lot of money sitting in the house. Bitcoin can earn their unemployment by earning. It can be possible to improve the country by improving their lives by earning bitcoin. So, maybe you are earning well on Bitcoin (or maybe not). But, sad to say Bitcoin cannot nor will not eliminate unemployment as it involves so many factors. One is money. You need money to buy a computer, electrical or solar energy and internet connection. For unemployed I don't know if they have money for those things. Also, can they afford to buy or invest in Bitcoin? I think even if they have money they can't afford to risk it on Bitcoin. How about you... can you risk your money and/or your savings to buy or invest in bitcoin at this time? |
