161  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you first hear about bitcoin? on: September 13, 2017, 02:02:52 AM
Are you a bitcoin fan?
Do you spend a lot of time on bitcoin? Reading news, trading, or even writing your own analysis.
But how did you first hear about bitcoin?
Is it some articles you read about? Or just from a friend who has traded bitcoin for a long time?

Share your experience with us. Grin

I heard bitcoin first when I was on my Senior High Shool when I met my new classmates. That time I need money because of some financial problems but I didn't know what to do so atleast I ask my classmate to borroe money, sadly he didn't lend me some yet gave me some ideas and teach me the bitcoin thing and how to earn it.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: September 12, 2017, 05:24:04 PM
What are some the more idiotic and stupid mistakes that you know you shouldn't have made but did anyway. Yes this includes other none gambling stuff like sending btc to the wrong address. I'm interested to find out the stupid things other people do.  Roll Eyes

I think the worst mistake I did in gambling is that I don't stop myself from being greedy in earnings because that time I am continue earning and winning in dice game and didn't contented in my earnings so I continue to play and dice it until I lose in just 1 blink because I didn't recognized that it continuously lose bet. So that time I realize things.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: September 12, 2017, 04:56:59 PM
Yes of course can give you a lot of lessons in life, in terms of financial losses that can teach  you how to value money in a matter of time. Because thar time you are engaged in gambling is you are not thinking to earn money for your family and the only thing you aim is to win and not lossing. If we generally analyze the whole idea here, you didn't expect to loss and yet you really loss because gambling always make's you loss rathen than winning. Having a bigger lossea that cannot be recovered by playing again will certainly give you a nice lessons that will also give you the principle of not joining gambling bets anymore; life will be change as well.

Of course. Gambling can give you lesson life in a way that when you experienced to get lost or to be bankrupt you'll realized that money isn't that good thing to spend all. In gambling you make sure to set limits and goasl so that you'll be able to earn and to avoid being bankrupt. And also gambling teach us how to surely value the money we have in order to earn.
164  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: September 12, 2017, 04:34:27 PM
Let's say I have 2.1 BTC And I don't spend it. Will it go up a few cents if I save it? Cause in my wallet I have up to about 50 cents worth of bitcoin. I started up with 13 cents 7 months ago. Now all of sudden I have bitcoins worth 50 cents. What do you call this? I only made that one 13 cent deposit. Nothing else!

I would rather do both because as we know we all can earn and at the same time spend the income we are earning because this is the fruit of our hardwork in the job we are doing. I would put up the 70 percent of my total money in savings and use the 30 percent in things I need and things I want because that is how life goes on.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: September 12, 2017, 04:00:30 PM
Bitcoin is a very popular crypto coin today, we know that Bitcoin will be very expensive in the future but I imagine if Bitcoin die, whether there will be hope for the future of altcoin? because most altcoin exchanges are to bitcoins
your opinion is highly appreciated. Smiley

I think no because many altcoins are not depending on bitcoin. Only because bitcoin is the most general coin or the most known coin and bitcoin can be cash out not just like the altcoins. The reason why bitcoin is very important to the altcoins is that they used to rrade it so that they can earn bitcoin and can cashed it out.

167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you even gamble? on: September 04, 2017, 04:21:04 PM
This post is not intended to criticize gamblers, i am just curious what drives a gambler to really gamble even when the odds are against him or even reach the point where he'd rather lose everything he has than to stop doing his gambling addiction. I said the following because i have seen friends and some relatives on my mother's side literally lose everything they have like family, wealth etc. and only a few managed to stand up again. And some of that few still gamble to this day. And an uncle was found dead from a gunshot wound, whoever did it was unknown. But rumors say that it is one of all the guys he owed large money and never payed. While a friend(not close, just a neighbor) died from suicide because his wife left him along with his 14y.o daughter and 3y.o son. Now, I ask this because i dont get it. I just don't. I mean is it even worth it? If you ask me, i don't know. That is why i am asking. And the reason why i did it here is because we all know i can't ask a gambler with this kind of questions face to face because doing that would mean mean that I wanna start a fight. I mean that might how a gambler reacts to this kind of question. Please share your thoughts on this.

Because I want to earn easy. Many people said to me that the easiest way of earning or having income is to play gambling but of course I red all about it here in forum and learned that we must be discipline in playing gambling because if we didn't we will be loss. And we must ser some goals and limits because that's how a gambler become responsible and intelligent.
168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think that those who own and run casinos are criminals or conmen? on: September 04, 2017, 03:22:11 PM
I am curious about the casinos owner. they have so much to offer. I think they are more fair than any political party.

Why would they look? They are just persons who runs a business in order for them to have incomes for their living. Many people also thinks that some of the owners are criminals in a way that some of it didn't become fair in their casinos and using some cheats or hacks in order to make income. That's how the owner looks like to other people.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: September 04, 2017, 02:20:54 PM
In my personal experience, I first heard of it 1 year ago in a online forum game, people sold gold for Bitcoins, around March, gave it no importance at first. Now im kinda utterly commited to it. Really an interest subject of study.

I was first hears bitcoin 1 yr ago from my friend in province. I used to meet her 1x a year so that when we're always seeing each other we used to tell something different and new. He discussed to me all about the bitcoin and when I came home I started to read some articles about bitcoin and soon understand it. And I started to earned it.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Sport Do u Like to Bet? on: September 02, 2017, 04:42:49 PM
I just wonder which sport bitcointalk users bet for?

My favarite is always football. I dont know other sports except basketball. Football is passion for me. I love watch a good match and bet for it. My team is Besiktas. Do u remember Besiktas-Benfica champions league match? First half Benfica 3 | 0 Besiktas. That was my worst moment. I hate life in those moments and 15 minutes like 15 hours. It doesnt pass. Then second half started. Cenk Tosun scored amazing goal. 1-3. Querasma scored a penalty goal 2-3 and Aboubakar scored 3-3 that was my best moment. You see, i live a nightmare 45 min. ago then i live a dream like all Besiktas fans after epic turnback. Football is not just football.

So what is ur sport for betting? You can choose 2 sports.

Volleyball! Yes. Because I am a Volleyball player and as a part of a team my knowledge about it are somehow many and lot so that I think I can win in some betting game when it comes in the sport Volleyball. And I know that volleyball is my game and the teams I want always won and I also won in bet games.
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: On Which device do you Gamble? on: September 02, 2017, 04:19:36 PM
This is for educational purposes, thanks for any feedback.

I am using a laptop in gambling and somehow use my phone so it's 50/50. In laptop because it is more good than phone because of some features that didn't suppprt by mobiles. But I also use mobile phones because it is hand carry and can be use anywhere or while travellimg so that even if you got bored you can play.
172  Economy / Economics / Re: Government & Bitcoin on: September 02, 2017, 03:19:51 PM
The sharing economy is just going to continue to grow, and governments will be challenged to understand and manage its implications while embracing its benefits. However, governments will be at a significant disadvantage if they wait too long and newer technologies and markets will have already been developed that do not follow traditional models. Think of the following: Uber is the world’s largest taxi service and owns no cars. Airbnb provides lodging yet does not own real estate.

How will local governments adapt to these new ways of doing business that are disrupting traditional business models? All we know now is that governments are a long way from even contemplating and accepting this new reality.

Bitcoin and government as I know isn't related because bitcoins is not hold by government. And the government has nothing to do it unless they also using it. Bitcoin is very helpful today to us in a way that support us especially in our financials but what could we do if government aren't okay with it. We must explain it to them by seminars or other lectures.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you set up limits for yourself? on: September 01, 2017, 03:25:05 PM
Hi guys!
We all know that gambling is not only a fun but also potential danger. So are you limiting yourself somehow when gambling? DO you use casino's instruments to prevent you spending more money?
Or do you just limit yourself by setting a certain amount of money to spend? Or you don't limit yourself at all?
Thanks for sharing!
Cheers,
Yours OshiHugo, Oshi.io CM

I earn a alot of bitcoins every month but I didn't use it or spend it all in one shot. I always set limits so that my money didn't end up nothing. I always play gambling but not in a whole day. I set goals in order to become intelligent in playing. When I reach that goal I will stop and take a rest.
174  Other / Archival / Re: Have you ever won a Jackpot? on: September 01, 2017, 02:28:29 PM
The only jackpot i have won is the prime dice 77.77 one. I have won them three times, but unfortunately the wins weren't that big, The biggest i won from the jackpot was 0.007 BTC. Have you ever won a jackpot in your life? If so how big was it?

"The biggest jackpot from the list below is won by user " tyz" with amount of 3.7 BTC. "

I experienced to won jackpot one time in playing gambling but the jackpot that time wasn't that big because that site is only starting but I am very thankful to that because that is the reason why I have some investments and businesses today. And I am still hoping to hit the jackpot again and it has a big earnings.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: September 01, 2017, 01:28:34 PM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .

Of course eventhough in the first place bitcoin is a big thing but many people doesn't saw it because of low value but they didn't believe what happens to it now. I guess bitcoim will be a more thing in the future so you better to invest now so that it will grow fast in the future. And bitcoin will reach another milestone in his value according to others.

177  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: September 01, 2017, 12:49:27 PM
It seems that experts say that Bitcoin 'Here to Stay,' But Banks Could Disappear.

"TheStreet: How do you think FinTech will impact the way banks operate?

Frank Schwab: Banks either react on, or they will disappear. Anyway, the consolidation of the banking industry accelerates as the behaviour of people changes. Some banks will benefit from [FinTech], some will be pushed to the back end, and some will disappear."
http://www.thestreet.com/story/13419089/1/bitcoin-here-to-stay-but-banks-could-disappear-says-fintech-expert.html

What's your read on that?

Bitcoin will never be a threat in bank that it will make it disappear in a way that many people will more focus in bitcoin than in banks but bitcoin will never be disappear as well as banks because these two are most usable in many individual and it is a way of earning and securing their money.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: August 30, 2017, 01:03:41 PM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.

My purpose is ofcourse to save for my business. Eventhough that I am a student today I also want to earn so that even in simple things I can help my family in financial needs. And of course I also use it also in fun like playing with a little amount in gambling for past time. And I also want for my family to get what they want before they leave the world.
179  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: August 29, 2017, 03:31:31 PM
After the events of last week.

I was making this suggestion to some folks yesterday, but they claimed that bitcoin is too small.  Does it matter?

Nope. I disagree because bitcoin isn't a big thing that can eliminate or defeat the world currency today. They have different functions that makes them special. Bitcoin is a digital currency that people nowadays use to earn some incomes or extra incomes. It doesn't become more greater than the real currency today.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning enough with Bitcoin without Job ? on: August 29, 2017, 02:37:46 PM
I was just wondering that is it possible to earn steady income without going 8-5 hours regular office job.. I mean you got some bitcoin in your wallet .. are you the enough for living ?

another option is to regularly working on Bitcoin related trading/activites .. that earn you enough amt of monthly income ..

what's your opinion

Note: this is not for poor fellow who just discovered bitcoin or altcoins

I think it is a big no because for me I will always bear on my mind that stable job or offcie jobs are quiet best because we all know that bitcoin isn't stable in terms of value because sometimes it become low and high. Stable job of 8 hrs is a good than bitcoin. Bitcoin can be serve as your extra income. I suggest not to depent on it or rely on it.
