181  Economy / Economics / Re: The dream of getting rich with bitcoins on: August 28, 2017, 04:08:10 PM
Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?

It is more good to invest or to join signature campaigns if you want to earn a lot bigger income because these are some of the ways of getting a good income in a very good and positive way. You must not focus on gambling because it may cause forr you to lose all of your money. If you want to get rich you must be responsible in your income and be intelligent in using it.
182  Economy / Economics / Re: Three reasons to invest in Bitcoin on: August 28, 2017, 04:00:16 PM
Quote
1. It’s gaining mainstream credibility as industry players consider it as the new gold – Bitcoin has many of the same qualities of gold, whose value is not controlled by governments.

2. Many investors and finance industry experts are serious about the promise of Bitcoin – A large number of mainstream investors and entrepreneurs already consider Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a legitimate asset class.

3. There is only a limited amount of Bitcoin – There are only 21 million Bitcoin tokens to be mined and no new tokens will appear until after 2140. This makes Bitcoin a deflationary currency whose value increases naturally with time.

Source here.

These are interesting big reasons why it is so wise to invest in Bitcoin. I am sure that many people are still doubting Bitcoin whether it can be a good investment vehicle or it is just another risky venture that can collapse anytime. Of course, we know better. So in case someone would be asking you this same question, you just have to enumerate the three big reasons above.

For me I think the reasons why I need to invest in bitcoin is that (1) because bitcoin will never vanished because as you can see how it is very popular to many people (2) it has a big possibility of getting higher value in the future and your money will be pump, (3) and bitcoin is very rich and very good in terms of business financials.

184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you know whether its your lucky day? on: August 25, 2017, 10:31:25 AM
Was just playing dice and roll my winnings as i thought its my lucky day because I won the first roll. Realized after several games that I lose more than the amount I can afford to lose for a day.
I could have avoided it if I wasn't just too eager get a jackpot, of course who knew it wasn't my lucky day when my lucky calendar says "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."  Smiley and its new year!

so how do you guys test whether is your lucky day or not?

I feel that I am very confident in playing gambling. Whenever I set or bet my money I always positively thinking that I will be won and I will earn because of positive aura. Many people didn't look on having a good mood if playing so end up losing. I always feel it's my lucky day if I am in a good mood.
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you buy for money won? on: August 25, 2017, 04:24:37 AM
Hi guys!
It's often discussed here that you can't make any money from gambling, but in general it's just not true. House edge is usually quite low so the most of the money go back to players. Of course some one wins more than he bet, some one wins less and loses in the end. It's all about luck. I am sure that the most of you was lucky at least once and made some nice money. So my question goes here: How did you spend this money? Did you buy some presents for your close ones? Did you buy something for you? Did you invested it, saved it or even put back into gambling (and then made even more or lost it?)?
Share your stories Smiley)
Cheers,
OshiHugo

I usually buy things i need and save the other esrnings so that eventhough I use some money I also earn. The things I am buying using bitcoin is clothings, gadgets and school supplies. Many people now are also using bitcoin to pay bills and other things that accepts bitcoin like other establishments, shops and games. I also use to buy loads.
186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you tell if you are suffering from gambling addiction? on: August 25, 2017, 03:32:19 AM
I just want to ask how would you know if a person is suffering from gambling addiction. Can you guys tell me the signs of it?

Your mindset is always to play gambling even if you are in your work, school or church you always thinking about your money and how you can make it increase by means of gambling. Just like me when I was starting to gamble I used to think always what strategy I will used in order to earn only.
187  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: August 25, 2017, 01:49:44 AM
It seems to me that bitcoin is already very widely used in corruption because of human greed. As long as people are greedy, they will use everything that has value for corruption.

Yes. I also believe that human greed can be one of the reasons to become corrupt because many people will be temp to perform negative actions as well as plunder or scamming because of the greediness. But I can say that this corruption that is arising will be healed or will be aid because different people are moving into it.
188  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: August 24, 2017, 05:20:24 PM

I think it can help to end poverty even in simple way like bitcoin can be used by the other persons to held some reach out programs that giving some people opportunities to establish a business and of course held some seminars or talks about bitcoin so that they can help others to earn an extra income for their family.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can you see bitcoin in the future? on: August 24, 2017, 04:06:47 PM
Hi guys, I want your opinion if how can you see Bitcoin in the near future.

As I can see today bitcoin is aa very helpful thing in terms of financial and others things that money was involved. All I can say is that I can see bitcoin in the future that is very progressive and very good in a way of having a high value and many people are using it in that time. Bitcoin will be a big thing in the future to many people.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin acceptance on: August 24, 2017, 03:12:08 PM
I am sure there are also other countries having businesses and merchants already accepting Bitcoin just like cash. However, we have to admit it that the rate of adoption is not as high as expected all because Bitcoin has become a speculative tool rather than a currency. We have to be realistic about this...here in my country you have to take some effort to have a Bitcoin and because of this people are holding on to their coin in anticipation of the coming rise. Personally, I would not let go of my Bitcoin even if I am eating in a nice restaurant...in this case I would be using my fiat money instead.

I agree. There are many countries today that accept bitcoin as one of their currency. Eventhough it is digital it is like the real money because you can also use it just like how you use money, in buying things you want, buying projects and ofcourse paying bills. In short, bitcoin can also be your financial assistance when you are in emergency.
191  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: August 24, 2017, 02:56:18 AM
Let's say I have 2.1 BTC And I don't spend it. Will it go up a few cents if I save it? Cause in my wallet I have up to about 50 cents worth of bitcoin. I started up with 13 cents 7 months ago. Now all of sudden I have bitcoins worth 50 cents. What do you call this? I only made that one 13 cent deposit. Nothing else!

For me, you can do both. You can spend bitcoin as well as rsrning it because if you are a responsible bitcoin people you must know how to use your money in very good way not just buying things eventhough you don't need as well as earning, you must know how to earn a lot of bitcoin and what is the bestway in earning so that you have good income.
192  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: August 24, 2017, 02:44:48 AM
As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.

For now we didn't know how long bitcoin would last but I think it is depend on us? the people who are using it because we are the one who using it and the government had nothing to do with it. We must know that bitcoin is a digital money that people are using so if we stop using it I think it would be gone. But as I can see it is very progressive and the people who are using it is continuously imcreasing.
193  Economy / Economics / Re: Some things to consider before starting a business on: August 24, 2017, 02:36:40 AM
Well I just want to share some information regarding on how to start a business because as we can see, we are all want to have a stable business and we want to be a very good entrepreneur someday because if we're just working and working to earn money then if we can't work anymore we won't be able to sustain our needs anymore. I think this is worth reading especially those who are planning to build an ICO or a project. I've got this from my professor on college :

NOTE-REFERENCES :  Webster’s College Dictionary (Random House/McGraw Hill)
What is an Entrepreneur?
Entrepreneur: A person who organizes and manages an enterprise, especially a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk.
Initiative: Readiness and ability in initiating action.
Risk: The hazard or chance of loss.

NOTE-REFERENCES : The Portable MBA in Entrepreneurship, 2nd Ed.; William D. Bygrave, Editor. John Wiley and Sons Publishers, 1997.
What Does it Take to Be Successful?
  • “In entrepreneurship, luck is where preparation and opportunity meet.”
  • “The idea is not what is important. In entrepreneurship; ideas are a dime a dozen. Developing the idea, implementing it, and building a successful business are the important things.”
  • “Would-be entrepreneurs who are unable to name customers are not ready to start a business. They have only found an idea and have not yet identified a market need.”
  • Somehow, someday… you are going to have to earn POSITIVE CASH FLOW. You need more than a revenue model (but you do need that). You need a VALUE model.
  • Market share is great, but you can’t pay bills with it.
  • You can do some financially stupid things to build market share.
Where Do You Start?
Think about WHO is going to want your product/service, what they will PAY for it, what you will NEED to carry it off, and how you will MAKE MONEY someday. That is, make a PLAN.

Success depends on
positive cash flow, growth,
 and value creation.

Owners and investors who forget that tend to get “naturally deselected.”

The Importance of Value Creation

  • A successful business is one that delivers value to its customers and creates value for its owners.

Value is delivered to your customers when you do something for them
Better
Cheaper
Faster
Cooler
Different

However, it is likely that none of these will work for long, so continuous improvement and innovation are essential.

Value is created for the owners when:
-You do more with their money than they could do with it themselves
-You invest in productive activities that earn rates of return greater than their risk-adjusted costs of capital.
-The present value of future cash flows exceeds the startup costs.

Value is created by:
-Exploiting proprietary physical resources
-Possessing proprietary knowledge or expertise
-Creating a new or improved product, process, or service
-Staying ahead of the competition through constant improvement and innovation

Planning for Success

-Don’t plan a business for today – Plan it for at least a year from now.
-Moore’s Law: Computing power will roughly double every 18 months.
-Bandwidth will continue to increase for most users almost ad infinitum.
-People will live longer and maintain active lifestyles far after retirement.
-Energy sources and consumption patterns will change drastically.
-The world will continue to be a very dangerous place.

How To Not Get Funded

-Have a half-baked idea
-Have a meatless business plan
-Can’t articulate your value proposition
-Can’t identify your market potential
-Can’t justify your sales projections
-Can’t show your investors an exit
-Can’t show your investors a reasonable expectation of a reasonable return on investment
-Don’t think about risk
-Take no risk yourself
-Don’t take time to do your homework
-Try to fund a “lifestyle” venture

Funding Your Venture

-The hardest funding to raise is the first funding. You are probably on your own.
-Later funding gets progressively easier depending on the results you can show to investors and what you need to fund.
-BANKS are probably not going to help.
-The best funding is INTERNAL funding (reinvested earnings).
-PRIVATE EQUITY is the current buzzword for the major capital source for business ventures.
Closing thoughts

For me, the things to consider before starting a plan is of course the capital or the money to be used in tge beginning because if you didn't consider that you may end up bankrupt or your business will not be working it. And the second thing to consider to your well-organized strategic plan. Make sure to have a well-organized plan to execute in order to come up in a good business start.
194  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: August 24, 2017, 02:30:01 AM
Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?

Nope. I dont think so because bitcoin is a digital money and we all know that we are living in the world of reality. We must know that in our life we must rely on our reality not on our digital money. And if you cash bitcoin it will turn ito dollar because they didn't have paper or coins for bitcoin reality. So I think doar will not replaced by bitcoin.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: August 24, 2017, 02:19:37 AM
Even the blind can see that crypto Currency is making people millionaires all  over the world just because they present the holders of such currency with the financial freedom and opportunity to accrue large amounts of wealth base on currency investment . But my question is that, is it late to buy bitcoin? Should i wait maybe bitcoin price will decline after 1st August meeting? Please i will welcome your advice so that I can make my decision on crypto currency investment.

I think it is not late to but because we all know that bitcoin isn't that stable so that I think in the future the value of it will be very hit so that many people will be amazed and use. Today many people are continously using bitcoin so that they earn a lot of money but what happento others? They also using and buyung because of the positive feedback. So I guess it is not too late to buy.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Is Your Bitcoin Dream? on: August 24, 2017, 02:12:57 AM
Okay, I am just making that headline short and sweet. What I mean is: What is one big dream that you want to realized out of your Bitcoin income? No matter how small or big it is, please share it with us here.

As for me, I have a big dream of having my own 10-hectare farm somewhere here in my locality and I want to stuff that area with all the fruits I can find here and with my main products which are cacao and coffee.

I guess I have this special connection with the soil and the land that is giving us the food and sustenance daily. And who knows maybe years from now I can be able to issue tokens out of that farm...something like AgriTokens or AgriCoins.

Please share your dreams!

My bitcoin dream is to be rich not just by gambling but also in otger ways as well as investing, marketing and other business. I also dream to earn bitcoin and buy thing I want like house, car and others. I also dream to earn a lot bitcoin. Now my goal only is one btc and if I reach that I want to earn 3 btc. Then 5 and so on and so forth.
197  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: August 23, 2017, 07:40:23 PM
Hi, I was wondering if I should quit my job and focus more on bitcoins? Because I think it might get me even richer without a job?  Grin

I think it is best to focus on both because it's up to you if you can do same. You can not to quit job just to focus on bitcoin because for me job is kore good than bitcoin because we can say how and when bitcoin will split or worst gone. But your job is permanent and more sure in terms of income. Not in bitcoin that is quite not sure in income.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: can gambling give you lessons in life? on: August 23, 2017, 06:42:09 PM
Yes of course can give you a lot of lessons in life, in terms of financial losses that can teach  you how to value money in a matter of time. Because thar time you are engaged in gambling is you are not thinking to earn money for your family and the only thing you aim is to win and not lossing. If we generally analyze the whole idea here, you didn't expect to loss and yet you really loss because gambling always make's you loss rathen than winning. Having a bigger lossea that cannot be recovered by playing again will certainly give you a nice lessons that will also give you the principle of not joining gambling bets anymore; life will be change as well.

Ofcourse. Gambling can teach us some lessons in life that we may used in order for us be more intelligent and be watch out while playing gambling. Many people didn't have any experience in playing gambling so they didn't know what is the feel of lossing and many people didn't able to get the lessons in life by playing gambling which are having strategy in order to earn.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: August 23, 2017, 06:19:33 PM
Hi guys and girls! After making quite a lot of money then losing it and crying about it half the afternoon I have decided to give up gambling for good.  Its not for me in have a much too addictive personality. So now I just plan to work for casinos but not gamble.

The thing is you know you should cash out but you always want just that little bit more and then u lose the whole lot. I'm stupid and greedy. Right after I lost i put more in and doubled it then I went all in and lost it. So yes u can make a killing gambling with such a small about like a few dollars but then u lose all u make and waste a lot of time and energy and end up getting upset. Also i shake like mad when I gamble and I hate that. I tremble. When I lose I can't believe what the screen is telling me.

So any thoughts ? Ways to stop ? Ways to gamble with play money ? Maybe there are dust gambling casinoes I can use? U know just for fun and for the fix. Smiley

Yes. At first. Giving up gambling isn't easy because you have been familiar with that kind of playing an you always put your mind and feels that you always need to earn money in a very fast mode so that is gambling. But of course if you mind things and think that gambling isn't the best eay to earn money you can give up and slowly adjust yourself to not play gambling and leave it behind.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: August 23, 2017, 05:58:05 PM
If someone which follows the set of rules and be discipline enoff. Can people make 50-100 $ a day just gambling in online casino.....?

I think gambling isn't a long term profitable because eventhough you did a lot more amd invest some in gambling whenever you do if you didn't do some strategy nothing will happen and yoir money or capital will be lose. In gambling we didn't know if we will get rich because the possibility of winning in gambling isn't that good because in gambling it is a matter of luck.
