Lastly, the investment model is also built on the fact that investors have an interest in advertising the site that they're invested in. That would be easier if they knew which app was worth to push atm.

to be frank I did not know that but a very interesting info

do you have an example where I could see such an advertisement of an app by an investor?

thanks

He didn't say it happens, but that it will theoretically happen. Investors helping advertise = more play = more investor money, so it's in their best interest to do so. Whether or not they do is a different story.

it looks that I misunderstood it thank you for explaining I really was surprised and glad to see this happened already and therefore I misunderstood it Smiley

I agree with you - Investors helping advertise = more play = more investor money, so it's in their best interest to do so -

wouldn't it be nice to have a private corner/place where investors (future investors) and app owners could discuss ideas regarding advertising etc and try to find together ways that would be helpful for all sides = investors, MP and app owners?

From experience having the most number of investors and the most amount of Bitcoin invested for over a year now, investors do almost nothing to advertise or promote.

thank you very much for disclosing your experience with your investors = another interesting info and valuable insight

maybe they fully rely on you to do the advertising. because IMO you cannot compare your investor and game system with MP investor and game app system. it is different and new concept. it will need time to get well established and therefore I agree with earlier postings that investors could help app owners. the question is how and in which way. I am glad that someone started this discussion and lets see where we will end up Smiley

They do prefer passive investing and rely on the operator to do the advertising work, and expenses. But then investing probably is the wrong term anyway.

First off I'll say that Moneypot is excellent and I think the owner and app devs have done a good job. But it is not a 100% new idea. PRC actually started out doing something similar and the initial plan was for a model quite like Monepot has and will offer something similar soon. However PRC has pivoted a lot in the past few years and I certainly did not know it would currently be a dice site Smiley

Well the only place I play blackjack is at Coinroyale I like it there because its fast and you can bet up to 1BTC a hand.

We'll have blackjack back on in next few weeks. You should be able to bet around 100 Bitcoin per hand.

So as I, NLNico and others pointed out, the wagered stat was wrong. Any explanation for why it's suddenly 28x lower? I'm sure it should actually be even lower though.

No dreams, lol. There used to be poker a -long- time ago, then lottery and not that long time ago there was roulette and blackjack. He plans to add those last 2 games back again, but not sure when.

Yeah you were not dreaming Smiley

There will be a new version of PRC launched in the next couple of weeks and I will be bringing roulette and blackjack back using the new platform.
I will then be adding all the games you would expect on an online casino site over the following few months and finally bringing poker back by the end of the year.

107  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Fastest Dice Websites on: September 29, 2015, 11:19:13 AM
In tests of the new version of PRC I'm getting around 6500 bets per minute I don't think any site is that fast. Should be launching in the next few weeks.
However the minimum bet will still be 100 satoshi.

I am very disappointed of your min bet size Sad Can you make it 1 satoshi?

Sorry no. The minimum bet is still a fraction of a penny. There's no plans to reduce it.

What is the speed of betting at the dice?

Dependant on your connection you can get 10 or more per second. This will be increased soon.

Does it matter the bet size?

No, all bets are the same speed at the moment.

Was wondering if players think I should bring blackjack and roulette back, but with the design I had before.

I have a designer doing new versions for the new site but instead of waiting till then it might be better to just put the old versions back on?

Both games will be funded by the current investors and most likely will have the highest max bet of any other btc casino offering them

Yes you should, why wait everything until ready when you can launch it now and grab some penyy from gambler. But why using investor funds? the last roulette was privately funded by you irrc

It was funded by me yes. Investors have wanted the feature of investing in the other casino games for a while now. When I launched blackjack at first you could invest.

The reason for allowing it now is to provide large high roller bets e.g. > 50 Bitcoin.

115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How FAIR are those provably fair games? on: September 24, 2015, 09:55:56 AM
I'd be interested in donating some funds to NLNico, or someone else trusted and as knowledgeable, to develop some open source browser extension that would verify all your bets made on a site in real time and instantly warn you if something was wrong.

Obviously with a nonce version like on dice sites it wouldn't be able to verify until you changed the seed but it could log all the bets you made and verify them once you change seed.

All sites who use provably fair could donate and give help on understanding how their implementations worked.
116  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM | No.1 for Cryptocurrency Gambling | Provably Fair | 1 BTC BONUS on: September 24, 2015, 09:02:18 AM
@NLNico they apply 0.00001% Kelly risk.

I never get response how they offer 2% house edge while same game from the same provider at a different casino has 5%-10% house edge.

New slots from 8 different providers, 2% House Edge, available on 8 different currencies! Good Luck Playing!!

It is up to casino (operator) to decide the house edge of the games integrated, they can even be set on 200% RTP (Return to Player) if needed, I remember writing you about this. But it was a 2 month period to promote the newly integrated games. As for today, Slot games operate on 4% House Edge.

Regarding the amount wagered, we have requested detailed explanation of 14 mi from our dev. department and we will be glad to share it with you as soon as they prepare it.

So there is a possibility to set house edge to 70% and there is no way for us to calculate house edge. We must trust operator.

Unfortunately a lot of casinos that use software used on typical fiat casinos all have that ability.

I was at a gaming conference a few months back and a few of the providers trying to sell me their software were bragging about this feature.

It depends on the gambling license the operator has though. They would not be allowed to set the edge so high with say a UK gambling license.

Also when I tried to explain that I was providing provably fair games they were shocked and confused.
117  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM | No.1 for Cryptocurrency Gambling | Provably Fair | 1 BTC BONUS on: September 23, 2015, 05:17:28 PM
I read the #bets figure wrong so my average bet size was wrong. However I'm still sure the wagered amount is likely an error and is too high.
118  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dice site with investment options? on: September 23, 2015, 05:14:39 PM
It's fact that https://pocketrocketscasino.eu is the safest and most profitable Bitcoin dice site to invest in.
I'm the owner but don't take my word, or any shills for other sites, and check sites like http://dicesites.com/ which record all bets and stats of all the dice sites and report their daily/weekly wagered, profit and amounts invested. You can make a better decision by looking at real data on their.

I would however say that there is so much invested at PRC, around 3500 Bitcoin, that you probably would not see too much return in terms of actual Bitcoin if you invested a small amount. Your ROI percentage would still be good however.

119  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM | No.1 for Cryptocurrency Gambling | Provably Fair | 1 BTC BONUS on: September 23, 2015, 04:53:07 PM
I have been wondering this for a while now and I know others have too. I will keep the first question simple :p

Are the wagered stats of 14+ million BTC on the homepage correct?

This stat is obviously wrong. It could be a simple error though.

If it were correct, assuming a very rough average of 1% edge, that would mean they have an expected profit of £21 million/ $32 million which I think would be safe to assume is not accurate.

According to the stats it would also mean an average bet of 6.1 Bitcoin but most of the bets showing on the site are actually only a few k satoshis.

EDIT: I read the #bets figure wrong so my average bet size was wrong. However I'm still sure the wagered amount is likely an error and is too high.
120  Economy / Gambling / Re: PocketRocketsCasino.eu - NEW VIP Program - Dice RAKEBACK on: September 22, 2015, 08:12:17 PM
Very sure he is paying it. The "rakeback" is basically between 2.5% till 15% which is possible with his commission.

Pretty nice promo btw. Wondering if this has a good effect on btc gambling sites. Things like this obviously work for pokerstars etc. Maybe change a subtle thing in chat to reflect the VIP status of each player. People like to show their ChromeStar on PS.

Yeah paid by me. There's never been a promo or expense paid by investors. Though I think they should but that's a different matter Smiley

The chat idea is good, I'll try add some badge or status soon.

Yeah and achievments! Everyone loves to complete achievments!

That's actually something that will finally be added on the new version of the site. Should be a couple of weeks.
