In my opinion, this will not prevent scam ICO's and fraudulent transactions at all. I am not going to participate in any KYC ICO in future because I do not want to hand over my personal information to anybody if it is not reasonably necessary.

Hey,
Long story short, I started with $3000 almost 4 months ago and now I'm down to $960.
I lost $200-$300 while learning, the rest was from cryptocurrencies crashing, and of course my mistakes.
Two days ago I wanted to ride the Nano train and bought in with all of my $1400 literally at its peak, followed by a colossal drop.
Then, I went all in on Vechain because of the upcoming rebranding, plus I originally purchased it when it was sub $3, but never kept it. Needless to say, it went down by 12%.
So currently I have $960 and I am feeling down that I am losing this battle and won't be able to stay a part of the history we are making.
I haven't bought into ETH, LTC, BTC because with my $1000 I would be getting nothing in return, even if they grew crazy. Any recommendations would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Sorry to hear it. Losses are just a part of the game, but it is always annoying when losses come before first gains. You simply chose the wrong time to enter the market. Hold on your coins, study a lot about cryptocurrencies, find your field of expertise. Meanwhile, you can join bounties or airdrops that could help you recover your initial capital. |

From yesterday's Registration update on medium: Nodes will now submit one hash to Core every five seconds. The time to retrieve a calendar proof may increase by up to four seconds. 1) getnewaddress "label"
2) send 10000 to this address and get txid and output
3) masternode genkey
4) add new line at masternode.conf as example:
mn_alias vps_ip step_3_key step_2_txid output
5) repeat
?
Isn't it the recommended and most common way to setup several MN's? Why shouldn't it work? I run them similarly and without issues so far. works for me too. Just watch the hosting video if any doubts even when running local with dedicated IP? I am not sure what you mean. If you want to run a node on your local computer with dedicated IP, you can setup simple "hot-wallet" node which is even easier than a cold-wallet (vps + local) setup. Store this files on an USB flash drive - DO NOT store it in any cloud! Also always write down your private keys on a paper and store it safely!
Very helpful guide, every crypto newbie should read this through. And I would emphasize the point with not storing private keys in cloud - clouds are simply not safe for this, use good old USB's |

It would be centralized, not truestless, transactions could be reversed and it could not be used worldwide, so what's the point?
You might as well just use FIAT then, there are no benefits for using crypto debit cards if you already have a bank account and a card. It would essentially be just an overcomplicated crypto>FIAT trading platform for users who intentionally give up all the major benefits of crypto.
Cool. Some people have told us that they want to use those cards to quickly liquidate crypto into fiat (even if it comes with a slightly higher fee) since it sometimes takes days or weeks to get fiat out from an exchange. Does that make any sense to you? I do not think this would be a feature for me. I can liquidate crypto into fiat quite quickly without overly high fees, new services has been evolving rapidly. I would recommend you to leverage advantages of cryptocurrencies and apply it to standard card environment. How can a blockchain technology make our shopping easier? |

Personally, I don't care about daily gains and losses. WAX enters coin market as one of the promising decentralized exchanges. So called "dexchanges" are going to slowly takeover the majority of altcoin trading volume. WAX is a good investment if you have not invested in any dexchange yet.

It is cool to see portfolio with less than 10 coins. Lisk, Waves and Verge are good picks with a long-term potential. I am not sure about Synereo, I do not know fundamentals of the coin. Siacoin is a bad choice IMHO, I would switch for some of their competitiors if you want to stay in this sector. |
