I got my first 2 from batch 1. I just have 1 up and running my additional psu's should be here later today. EVGA 1300 G2 the cables are a little warm but it seems to powering it.
The BE Controller didn't come with a power brick (not CrazyGuy's fault).
It is fairly loud. So the fan doesn't adjust? It just going at the same speed (high) constantly.

If these are controlled the same as the Tubes - which seems likely since they run on Tube controllers as well - you would need a USB-UART adapter's RX, TX and GND lines. I think it's a 3V3 signal voltage. But the actual protocol was a nine-data-bits, I think no parity, at 460800 baud, which isn't a mode that many converters support. I'd be surprised if the one he bought would do it, based on what Novak turned up while working on RPi support before AM released their cgminer stuff.

If that's true then no it probably won't work. It will be here tomorrow. I'll post results but doesn't look promising if what you're saying is correct.

I ordered two on batch 4. Do I need to order those uart to usb adapters that GrapeApe bought? I know starting at batch 4 they came with something I am guessing it was these adapters wasn't it? Im also curious how these are going to work on a RPI, I have the B+ model and now im getting nervous as shipping is getting closer. Time to get the latest minera image on that B+ and give it a shot. They do look nice, cant wait to get my hands on them. Thanks CrazyGuy

NO don't buy one. I'm just trying it out to see if it works. They are supposed to come with an adapter but batch 1 didn't have them. We don't know if this was intentional (maybe there is some kind of issue) or if it was just oversight.
Just wait...

Can you show what this is connected to? Ethernet controller are you using RPI?

It's the BE Controller.
65  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] ASICMiner Prisma 1.4th/s - 1.47 BTC - Batch 6 on: October 21, 2014, 06:38:25 PM
Thanks for all the responses. That's good to hear because I bought 3 of those 1300's.

I posted this in friedcats thread I thought I would ask here as well.

Which brings up my question. I ordered one of these:
http://www.amazon.com/CP2102-UART-6PIN-Serial-Converter/dp/B00CD264HG/ref=sr_1_11/188-7729491-3617157?ie=UTF8&qid=1413857855&sr=8-11&keywords=uart+to+usb
Of the six pins (3.3V, RST, TXD, RXD, GND & 5V) which will be used?

Assuming that adapter is compatible, it would be some combination of the data pins. 3.3v and 5V should be unnecessary.

Yeah I know this may not work at all. Nobody should be following my lead here.

I paid 10/04/2014
In response to messages wait for two days, five days, etc.
To whom was sent miners?

CrazyGuy got his first batch in but didn't get the usb adapters with it.

Do you think an EVGA 1300G2 will run one of these?

Also how loud is it? Say compared to those Dell 750's (God Damn hair dryers) you are using to power them? My girlfriend may be upset when she hears them.

The power of self moderation. I didn’t think that image would last long.

Well I wanted to make sure it didn't mean 1 unit = 1 board with how everything was displayed on the OP.

This appears to be the most profitable miner right now, just $560 for 1.4 TH? Can't beat that..

Yeah it's the best deal around right now. Plus CrazyGuy runs a tight ship as well
73  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] ASICMiner Prisma 1.4th/s - 1.47 BTC - Batch 5 on: October 18, 2014, 01:02:40 AM
I'm not trying to be rude (really) but I can't stop laughing right now!!! Smiley

4 Hashing boards = 1 Unit.

Ah so then it is 1.47 BTC for 4 hashing boards giving me 1.4TH/s?

But yes I think you've got it now.
74  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] ASICMiner Prisma 1.4th/s - 1.47 BTC - Batch 5 on: October 17, 2014, 11:53:05 PM
I'm confused, you need to buy "4 units" to get 1400 hash rate?

It's 4 boards making up 1 fully assembled device that hashes at 1.4TH/s. You will need your own power supply and a controller (RPi). CrazyGuy sells those as well. Look at the pic on the 1st post.
75  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] ASICMiner Prisma 1.4th/s - 1.47 BTC - Batch 5 on: October 17, 2014, 10:33:15 PM

I've been told that DHL is the cause of shipping delays. UPS shipments have made it into the US without issue and will be used on all shipments going forward. I have ensured that all of my batch 1 customers will receive compensation for the delay.

Damn...(face in palms)

Why trust me? Don't!!! This is about reducing risk maybe you should ask your regular escrow provider to offer multisig escrow it's safer...

MultiSig MicroTrust Escrow/Arbitration

EDIT: I wish I could take credit for this but all I did was host it. OutCast3k wrote the source. I have reached out to him to let him know what I did but have heard nothing. Full Credit goes to him.

When the transaction ends well and the buyer is satisfied, the buyer and the seller can sign a transaction together that releases the payment from the multisig address to the seller.
In case of a dispute, both parties can contact the 3rd party, explain their side of the story and ask him to approve a transaction that releases the payment in the manner they find fair.
The 3rd party can only approve a transaction that is signed by either the buyer or the seller, and cannot control the funds otherwise.

This is all done with the bitcoin-QT client as well.

77  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How To Verify Multisig Public Keys bitcoin-QT on: October 15, 2014, 05:56:14 PM
Okay I got it figured out, funny thing is I got it from one of your previous post. Once the multisig address is created you add it like your post says and then you get the output below when you validateaddress.
It doesn't give me the public keys like my thread was asking for but it gives the btc addresses which is ultimately what I need to confirm anyway.

From the testnet QT:

{
"isvalid" : true,
"address" : "2NBTCbcAJ5jLvMKZU9Vt59mN5HJqbzsiTLu",
"ismine" : true,
"isscript" : true,
"script" : "multisig",
"hex" : "5221034bdd619568d26a20d00a50e7c351f596c42e148cfdb099e317b2e2c553e1345d210230fd7 1e63947197589e706c2e0fb6aa05eae20fee2f92c2ffdacef252ea6afb552ae",
"addresses" : [
"mmdmRVnPqL3akvtxupMWQSW2JcLTSBQZ5d",
"mxiuyocweZ6rPsLrGaR8wgsafHXnTcRBhU"
],
"sigsrequired" : 2,
"account" : ""
}

1. { validateaddress "address" } Do it with both addresses and copy the "pubkey" it gives you.
2. { createmultisig 2 '["1st pubkey","2nd pubkey"]' }
3. Save the redeemScript.
4. Paste the same command in step-2 but replace "createmultisig" with "addmultisigaddress"

Hope it works.
78  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How To Verify Multisig Public Keys bitcoin-QT on: October 15, 2014, 03:52:41 PM
There is a way. There is even a python script running around out there that does just that. It isn't really needed though because you can you mix uncompressed keys with compressed keys to create a multisig address. At least you can with QT.

79  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How To Verify Multisig Public Keys bitcoin-QT on: October 15, 2014, 03:39:47 PM
Try doing { validateaddress "address" } see if that shows something in tags like "isscript" : false/true.

Yeah that was the first thing I tried. it just shows whether or not it's a valid address and whether or not I own it (nobody does it takes 2 of 3).

Example:
{
"isvalid" : true,
"address" : "3F1uvWUxKyDCTgNPtdH6TgtjGLbEvpBWXu",
"ismine" : false,
"account" : ""
}

However with a normal address you get the compressed public key associated with that address (if it's owned by you) which is how you create the multisig address to begin with.

I'm wondering how you go about verifying the public keys used to create a multisig address? Prefer to do it using the redeemScript and the address itself vs. the txid.
