I also gamble but I discipline and control myself so that I will not lose so much money. Learn to stop when you know that it is not your lucky day or whe you already lose alot of money. There is always another day so do not play like there is no tomorrow. You know that not all gambling is not about strategy or technique but luck. Gambling is profitable but not always. Damn it. I was already on the losing side, but able to recover my .035 BTC bank roll but I didn't stop and continue to play and sadly I quickly and decided to quit with just .006 BTC. I should have stop when I was able to recover everything with just 4 spins. Anyways, consider it another string of bad luck, I guess I'm greedy and wasn't able to control my emotions again. I was really thinking of quitting but thinking that I can double it again was a worst decision. That's gambling, you win, you lose, just bear with it and just spend what you can afford to lose so it will not leave a big mark on your emotion. Winning and losing are the two things that will happen, but most of the time we lose money because the advantage is not on us. I agree. It was a hard experience and it was painful to see someone who was addicted to gambling suffer. We all know that gamblers always have this attitude that they never give up and they will sell everything they have just to have another chance to gamble again. My uncle have this issue and he should be the riches guy in our family but all of it asset was gone because of gambling.
I think this shouldn’t be a hard thing for one to see someone suffering just because of gambling because it was up to him that whether he wants a good life or a bad life at the end and I know everyone in gambling is clever enough and mature enough that he can easily understand what consequences gambling have at the end. Those people are the one don't know the word quit as they keep repeating until they get what they want. Though sometimes this wouldn't help anymore and can worsen the situation. I have a friend that like this and thinking even at the last drop of his money he still gamble and later on borrow money just to recover his loss, sometimes he got some and sometimes doesn't. If this is the subject to talk on, then I think every gambler doesn’t knows the word ’quit’ in his life. It is not important that bitcoin is the first, but the most important is the popularity of bitcoin because it creates trust in its holders that bitcoin is the main coin in crypto. Okay so speaking about the long term investment I would say it is better than the short term because in long term investment, you are not prone to loosing much money due to the fluctuation in the market price and you make your mind about selling the coins only when the market price is more than the one you paid initially. The short term profits are the incremental profits and are also prone to the threat of loosing some money during the market shifts between red and green. |
