1061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: January 07, 2018, 04:05:41 PM
For me, I think it is because bitcoin users are unknown, unless they tell themselves. And because of that, government will find it hard to let bitcoin users pay for their taxes, unless they are honest enough. Aside from honesty, I could not find ways on how to determine how much a person own crypto currencies.

Well, yes. Bitcoin users are unknown, unless they tell themselves. Bitcoins are unknown because Bitcoin is anonymous. It is anonymous because a bitcoin user can tranfer and transport a lot of money in just some clicks. It also cause Money Laundering. Bitcoin is not controlled by the government, so that, bitcoin don't pay taxes in every transactions and it is running in the world with anonymity. That's why bitcoin is not supported in some countries.

Governments can still impose taxes on crypto by their gateways. But what really bothers them are possible money laundering. Bitcoin is already popular in deep web which is of course not cool on governments. Terrorism and countries like North Korea are also possibilities why these countries will never tolerate and as much as possible will try to control this technology.
They can impose all the taxes they want, the thing that really bothers them is they cannot take your bitcoin at will, governments and banks are together in this, that is why governments are fine with banks since they can ask banks to freeze any account and they do it, but when it comes to bitcoin that is impossible and they resent bitcoin because of that.
To my opinion some countries having lack of information about the latest technology and they are afraid of bitcoin economy. They feels that the bitcoin will overruled their currency and that will lost their control over the movement of money in their country. So they ignored bitcoin in legalizing it under their government. It is true that bitcoin is party independent cryptocurrency but there are so many advantages of Bitcoin which will return a boost to the economy of a country.
1062  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think cryptocurrencies have the potential to overtake regular currencies? on: January 07, 2018, 03:46:01 PM
I don't think so, because why governments would agree to this. It's not in their interest so far. They control national currencies and aren't interested in replacing them with cryptocurrencies.
Governments have something else with these coins they always want to control the whole currency level in their country. And as far as bitcoin or any other altcoins are concerned, these governments don’t allow this to be implemented in their country because then they can’t control the whole thing. This can be a threat to them if they allow cryptocurrencies working in their countries.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: should i buy ripple? on: January 07, 2018, 02:21:41 PM
Yeah of course. Ripple is great for a good investment in the long term or the short term, therefore, buy just ripple to be coins that promise in his future later.
So happy to say that ripples are just making progress, till few weeks back here, ETH was the second placed coin after bitcoins but now this place have been changed and replaced with ripples. They are coming with much speed and may be they will show some marvelous feats of actions later on. Good luck to them and good luck to all the developers out there for developing such amazing coin.
1064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why people are sharing tips? on: January 07, 2018, 01:04:22 PM
Well to some people it is because they want help other people to make some money for them self's and they derived joy in doing so. And most a time they are accurate in their predictions, so it is a way of helping other people particularly beginners.
Helping others is the main cause of sharing tips. Like you have said, there is majority of people who always think that yes this sharing can help them grow their own skills and they can polish themselves by sharing there experience with others and making better improvement. But then comes the legends who are always up for helping people because they want to make a difference in society.
1065  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: January 07, 2018, 12:39:07 PM
My tip is to have a goal. You need to make a goal of wishlist, that can motivate you to save money to make your goal comes true.
Then, everytime i have money, i put it in the piggy bank, and NEVER touch it, or else i'll use it because it's hard to control lol.
Having a rule is kinda great too. For example, everytime i have a dollar, i have to save it, don't use it or else. Only for one dollar.
That is natural with everyone when something is near you and you can easily access it that wild be no safe for being saved. Likewise bitcoins are also a form of important coin that must not be easily accessible to you every day. And your idea of wish list and making money and then saving it, this is fantastic. Go with this idea and you will come to know the amazingness of this coin.
1066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin saved my year on: January 07, 2018, 12:31:10 PM

I'm so happy to be part of bitcoin because bitcoin have been the secret behind my success ever since I stepped into the crypto world and I can't calculate how many time I have been saved financially.
I often call this as a hub of chances, there comes opportunities from this amazing coin and people are getting them, utilizing them and then making some amazing and fantastic results for themselves and their families. There is a long list of people from all over the world who have earned so much with this single bitcoin. They are open to these chances and they are successfully availing them.
1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins would it take for you to Quit Gambling Forever? on: January 07, 2018, 11:12:25 AM
I wouldn't quit gambling completely even if I won the JackPot biggest prize, because I don't play exclusively for profit and to become rich, but to have some fun. The difference is that after winning a big prize I wouldn't gamble online anymore, I would travel to the nice cities in the world to play on the land based casinos there with all confort I could have. Those playing to become rich will become poorer than they are now.
And those playing trying to feel rich while doing so will become really poor as well, if I won any kind of big jackpot I will not gamble anymore and invest that money and live out of my investments for the rest of my life that way I will not have to ever worry about money again.
It's not bad to play like you're rich but what's worse is that you're rich but you are not humble or brags in front of everyone about it. What's worse is that you play like a rich person but that's the only money you got left, you would lose everything and be broke after playing. I hope I would have that kind of investment that would set me up for life.
The problem is that many people have that problem and not only with gambling, I had a friend that earned more or less the same amount of money than me, but he always wore better clothes and had nicer cars, I knew that unless he had another income or won the lottery he was deeply in debt, he got fired and now he has nothing and bunch of debts.
So what is the advantage of that cars and fancy clothes, all in vain? Actually the source of income depends and this is a best factor for you to determine whether your success is going to the right way or not. Like you have told about your friend, there are so many who even don’t care about themselves although they know they are doing wrong but still they are up for losing everything they have.
1068  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do people actually buy coins with real life money? on: January 06, 2018, 10:00:13 PM
I admit that even a single bitcoin i am hardly to afford it due to many expenses i have to consider in our family. So that's why i am not shame to say that on my first step i take advantage of the use of this signature campaigns that in near future i could have my own kind of bitcoin in hand.
No one is telling you to buy one whole bitcoin. If you can't afford one whole bitcoin, why not buy fractions of it. It is possible to buy fraction and even smaller fractions of bitcoin. Just invest around $1000 and watch it grow on price. Your bitcoin won't increase but your profit will.
That is the beauty of bitcoin, this is so hard for a person to buy a whole one bitcoin in this time. The reason is, there will be much more expensiveness for bitcoin these days. Buying a sole bitcoin is not easy for one so there are options waving at you. You can buy some portions of it. Like many people often buy 0.01btc and this is suitable for a starting investment in this amazing coin.
1069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When do you know its time to Stop? on: January 06, 2018, 09:43:50 PM
If you have a high tendency to not stop until busting, then I came across these tips which do help:

  • Don't put all your available bankroll directly in the game (in case you're using deposits). Leave always at least half outside as a security measure if you go bust.
  • One must stop after reaching a certain goal, The goal should be predetermined and shouldn't be changed during the play.
  • If you're doing really good, withdraw part of your earnings (if you can, ofc) to avoid losing it all in one go.

Having a big bankroll can make you feel falsely safe in that "oh I'll just keep increasing my bet until I win" but alas, the 30 reds in a row do exist, and will come. Do not let them take it all.

The goal you make should be realistic and firm, Don't change it or else be prepared to face bad consequences.

You gotta fight back the voice that screams inside your brain "Come on, double again and we recover!".
You must know that when would you stop. Because the most better time to stop is when you are winning. All because thier is more eagernes to gain more money and thier are also possibility to lose again instead of winning a game. Because too much greediness is lead you into  repent or a bad decition that you might not be able to do again.
You must stop when you see you are being affected with this. I think this statement can never be declined or refused. There are some people who even don’t think second time and leave this game, because they got to know about it. They got to know what the actual disadvantage of this gambling is and this can make you a better decision maker. Leave it before it eats you up.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It is not worth it, right? on: January 06, 2018, 09:29:25 PM
The benefits of gambling are mostly psychological. If you are not addicted gambler, you can use it as a way to relax and clean your head. It is very exceeding if you play just for fun.

For me , gambling is for fun but sometimes it's attract me to play , seriously when they launch attractive promo that I can't resist.
So if you're not ready to experience loss, eventhough that you're play for fun, better to stay away or you will feel a bit regret just like me
Brother loss is not a bad thing. Loss is due to mistakes and these mistakes lead you to a wonderful world of making success. So you must be losing and winning in your game. All the thing just revolves around this one fact that this gambling is not a part of any fun or entertainment thing, it is only a matter of harm that is ready to hit you again and again.
1071  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you Panic? on: January 06, 2018, 09:23:07 PM
Whether its bitcoin trading or altcoin trading, there is bound to come a time when your investment is getting dumped badly, and its panic time.
How do you panic? Does that really make you panic and do you take decisions that you actually regretted later? Or do you keep calm and HODL?
What makes you panic and how do you react to it?
Hmmm.. I don't panic that much, am sure there's a reason for such dip, and the issue would be fixed no how. So what I just do is sit down and stop viewing my portfolio and wait for a rise in price again. Checking it often might give u HBP... Lol😂😂
The best thing to do. Being panic isn’t suitable option for anyone here in this world. Reason is, it will only make you a loser and nothing else. When you are under some bad conditions or you have to choose an option amongst many, then panic thing must be kept at an arm distance. At that time, if you are somehow panicked, go away from screen and just forget about your coins.
1072  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to overcome the fear of holding? on: January 06, 2018, 08:59:52 PM
There always choices, as you consistent to your own choice. If you want to play you need to have opit target as how much % from capital financial. But if you hold it, draw it when you really need it.
This is the case, exactly when you are holding you need to see the price rates going high or low. Things can be in your account or may be against you but you don’t need to keep your eyes shut. No, if something is going bad again and again and you consider that holding can make your loss higher, don’t waste any time and go sell them. Now luck will determine the profit or loss for you in this.
1073  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade without losses on: January 06, 2018, 08:54:53 PM
With experience traders, they always have stop-loss order to protect their money from market dump. But if newbie in crypto, i think we should not put stop-loss order because that may a fake dump to push out those have stop-loss.
What you have said, they are just few strategies for people who are working in this world. Like you have said, when people are new in this field they need to put little investments in these coins so that a little profit or loss can be managed at the end of day. But the experience people have better knowledge of what to do and how to handle everything, so they can better take the things up.
1074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fear of bitcoin on: January 05, 2018, 09:01:25 PM
Why are some governments so keen to prove that bitcoin is dangerous. Recently, the Indian government sent notifications to the citizens that they should not invest in bitcoin.
as the matter of fact government always declined bitcoin to do an investing.  because of its dark side and also a lot of scammer involved in bitcoin such as stupid scammer copying the design of some classified site and shows some false testimonials to scam some of the investor, i think that is the common reason why government didn't accept bitcoin because of that scenario.
Perhaps every government has right to use their own rules in their country. The advanced countries like Japan is accept bitcoin as legal currency. But some country stops their citizen to invest in bitcoin this is because of rigid thinking, they feel threat from bitcoin that it has no involvement of any other person or government. They want to control over the entire money builder in their country. They are worried that some criminal mind people will not take benefit of bitcoin by its independent quality.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long bitcoin will survive ? on: January 05, 2018, 08:53:42 PM
bitcoin can survive when there are still users of it in the market and no one know when will it stop or die as long as there is internet to connect its users transaction via blockchain it will live and the process will continue to improve as its developers see room for its improvements bitcoin will be known to majority of us and it will prosper to different industries around the world
When we start usually we are worried that if the Bitcoin will disappear than our money was gone. But the demand of Bitcoin in people is showing that our hypothesis is completely wrong and the life of Bitcoin will never end. Till the demand of Bitcoin remains high in the people the Bitcoin will grow and grow. The new advance promotions are also makes Bitcoin more profitable and interest too. I am very happy when I am trading on Bitcoin.
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and anonymity on: January 05, 2018, 08:29:28 PM

Maybe the amount of pseudo-anonymity is already enough for most people? In general, people care more about convenience than privacy. Hell, there's little people don't give up for convenience.

Of the options that I'm aware of, all have downsides on other fronts (BTC being the baseline):

XMR -- High fees, low scalability
ZEC -- Single point of failure in the form of a central corporate entity
GBYTE Blackbytes -- Centralized token issuance and trust-dependent consensus

Of course the respective tradeoffs may be seen as worthwhile, but the point is that there's no such thing as a free lunch.

I'd be curious to know what other privacy focused alts there are currently available though.

[...]

I believe this is going to change in 2-3 years and the anon coins will be more recognized and more used only when people will realize how their privacy has been taken over and what were the real reasons for creating Bitcoin

I'd argue that the main value proposition of Bitcoin is being permissionless, with pseudo-anonymity being only a side-effect. Also I'd love to believe that people will become more privacy conscious in the next 2-3 years, but I've honestly given hopes up on that. Privacy has long been dead and people embraced its death with open arms.

That is certainly a good argument, pseudo-anonymity is certainly enough for more people. However businesses certainly would need something more anonymous, I think the biggest thing for people to understand is that bitcoin is pseudo anonymous and not fully anonymous.
The use of virtual currency for businessmen and rich man is due to its unique qualities and different in nature. The anonymity is the biggest property of Bitcoin the users are in a safe mode. They do job on Bitcoin and no one knows who you are and what transactions are you have done. The business is secreting between you and Bitcoin, no other person or party can involve in this. The creation of Bitcoin is also against the real currency due to privacy level which is the main demand of mostly businessmen.
1077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be a programmer or gain bitcoin? on: January 05, 2018, 07:56:15 PM
What is more efficient? Be a programmer than gives you huge salaries for every project and codes? Or a Bitcoin trader, earner, etc.?

Being a programmer is a way different to being a bitcoin user. Yes, both of these are available to be used with such technologies but they work with different functions. But, this could happen that you can acquire both of it by just being a programmer who chose to be a bitcoin user as well. Since programmers are into computers, then you could use those acquired skills to incorporate into bitcoin.
The final decision is taken by yourself that what you want to become in future a programmer or trader of Bitcoin. But in my sense programming is very good profession and huge salaries are involves in this. The people who are joining programming they should have an intelligent thinking with high creativity level mind. So the people of these qualities are so much generous and they do not stop their income only in programming they do the trading on Bitcoin also and become millionaire in very short time.

1079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real Casino or Digital Casino. Whats is your Poison? on: January 04, 2018, 08:52:19 PM
I always preffered to play in real casino because i can feel the reality of playing aside from the free beers and sometimes with buffet foods Grin. Online gambling is not really my thing, it feels so unreal and i can't explain why. Though sometimes i do play online only when  ccan't sleep.
From the looks f it, you look like a pro gambler and addicted to it. I have the same viewpoints on real casino. I love to visit casinos and enjoy its environment. Online casinos are risky and boring without any doubt. You will never see James Bond in his movies gambling online. He visit casinos and enjoy the charm of casino in addition to gambling. One should follow James Bond in realizing that which gambling has more charm.

Regardless of the fall in price of Bitcoin recently, it is still one the best thing to invest in. The reduction is price is actually a good opportunity for investors. The reason is that, it will eventually touch new heights in terms of its demand and price. People who have already invested in Bitcoin should not lose their patience and revert back to native currency. They should hold it.
