Tonych inteview part II by Rafael Badziag https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=7Fau1bg9-jgat 8'30'' "Since we have identity now, the ability to verify users, we can know build our own direct Gateway to fiat that is accepting Credit Card and giving Bytes in exchange directly without going throught Bitcoin exchange".Then there is more info. It looks that Tonych is aiming to build a Byteball Credit Card A credit card you would fill with Bytes and spend in fiat would be another major breakthrough. I encourage you to listen by yourself.

What it could be wrong with Cryptopia? Why their wallet is not broadcasting transactions since December? @tonych will they contacted you for help? This situation is getting a bit annoying. They don't even answer to tickets anymore
It is a known problem from an unknown cause. At all: never... NEVER... NEVER! leave your crypto at any exchange unless you are a dayly trader.Your coins feel much better on your local backuped wallet.

This is a sponsored article, yet again. The only press that Byteball seems to be getting is sponsored stuff these days. This indeed is one of the most silly things I have ever seen and makes me wonder bout the sanity of all these so called investors who wander around the crypto space. This is the lever of the population of cryptoland. They don't think. The react at prices without even looking at supply and/or what the hell they are buying. A quite scary environment for any serious investor... The question is if Byteball should cynically exploit that and switching to Megabytes on exchanges and CMC or just not caring at all, thus selecting an user base of better quality.
Tony has made his views very clear on this. He is not going to try and switch the unit, just because a lot of newbie investors might start investing in Byteball. There may be a lot of gullible investors in the crypto world, but we shouldn't be taking advantage of them. I do not mean a specific decision but generally. If we not aggressive then we lost against other coins, we are in a free market and there not win the smartest projects but the ones with the loudest marketing and the biggest investors. the mass of people are stupid, that has always been so. Never try to re-educate your customers and there is no price for the fairness project. these are my experiences of the last 20 years. the newsletter from cryptocoin was good, thx Got my free bytes textcoin from cryptocoin newsletter too. Good we start at last using the hudge marketing tool textcoin are for our own promotion !

received them, thank you
come on )) google it and see it was posted 40+ times long time ago these guys even cannot issue a new one for textcoin which costs less than few cents. You can reuse the same Byteball address and the textcoin string do not change. Just refill the byteball address and the textcoin can be claimed again. I post a textcoin of 1,000,000 bytes per day at the same time here and in slack and in reddit. Processing this way I just have to copy/paste the same message each day (manual process...). No scam here. Have a nice day.

For what I've seen the verification process works perfectly fine when using a passport. However, when using a national ID, the process fails with ERROR_NOT_READABLE_ID.
Is it possible the process expects a specific ID format? For example only U.S. (or other single country) ID or driving license? I'd guess there's no issue when using a passport because its format is more standard internationally.
If Jumio expects only some specific format, it should be clearly stated.
And unless it is corrected soon, it should also be stated that if you get it wrong, you will pay for each attempt. Byteball is supposed to be forte on smart contract or conditional payment. Here it has the opportunity to show its potential. Jumio is not supposed to receive any money if the no ID verification is done. By the way, why should I pay 8 dollars on front for ID verification, many or the mayority of people are not familiar with Crypto, even less with Jumio, so it is very easy to miss step and make a misstake and loose 8 dollar trying to verify my ID. Payment to Jumio most be AFTER, not before, the ID verification is complete, and then I get the 20 dollars. Here the insentive is to get people on Byteball by receiving 12 dollars, not for been an expert on Jumio ID verification risking 8 dollars by not knowing the steps. Or please make use of the "smart contract". By the way, I think Byteball is the best Cryto proyect and the new distribution idea is the best by fixing the Jumio payment order. It is Jumio business rule. The bonus is that you can pay in GByte and not in fiat (which is already a major step for our community). People will verify their id at no condition when they will have a good reason to do that: participating to a KYC regulated ICO. This is the ultimate target.

So i downloaded the Light wallet to test it out and it worked great, and now i would like to use the Full wallet
Only problem is that when I delete the wallet, and re download it, it remembers the Light wallet and won't give me an option to download the full wallet.
I'm using a Mac (OSX)
any solutions to this? (don't feel like reading through 850 pages of ANN)
True. Forget the full wallet, is has the same functionnalities but needs a lot of time to fully sync the whole database.

Has anyone been buying Blackbytes? Have you been able to use the Blackbytes?
I'm thinking of loading up.
You can buy some on http://beeb-bot.comIt is mainly speculative as there is no real world usage as far as I know.

How many single wallets i can verify by myself? I think, i have to pay always 8$, but get only once signup bonus. Is it right?
One identity = one hash = one single reward. Its not about the reward, if i have two divices and i don't want a multi sig wallet, it its possible to verify both without reward? Can i verify as many single wallets as i want, of course without reward? Yes you can verify as many single address wallet (only) as you want (without reward but with fee).

True that KYC/AML Requirements For Token Sale is soon to be a de facto standard: from https://blog.narrative.network/big-news-kyc-and-our-switch-to-neo-2f34215beef9"New KYC/AML Requirements For Token Sale: As we have been in the process of setting things up from an organizational standpoint, we have come to learn that if we do not prove that the funds that we collect from the Token Sale are not sourced from illegal activities then we may have difficulty doing basic things like setting up a bank account. Indeed, many other Token Sale projects are now requiring KYC information from contributions for this very reason."

I think it would be better for ICOs to use KYC from a regulative standpoint, however there is no doubt in my mind it will absolutely destroy the industry. Most companies will not or are not equipped to even do this to begin with, let alone how much extra work it is even if they are.
Turnkey solutions are now coming London, UK, 17th January 2018 – Leading digital identity verification provider, Jumio, has teamed up with smart cryptocurrency payments platform, Byteball, to support it in optimising “Know Your Customer” (KYC) processes for users taking part in Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs). https://www.jumio.com/about/press-releases/byteball-ico-identity-layer/

http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/jumio-offers-kyc-ico-space-byteball-1655538Tony Churyumoff, Founder, Byteball, added: "By partnering with Jumio, we bring identity to the distributed ledger, both for ICOs and other financial transactions, creating strong connections between the crypto and the real world. For end users, we offer them a sovereign identity that is totally private, secure, and incredibly easy to use. For businesses, it is an opportunity to build applications that leverage the identity layer that was not possible before." This is really great! Jumio provides KYC (online ID check) tool used buy Coinbase. https://www.jumio.com/use-cases/#kyc-aml https://www.jumio.com/about/press-releases/byteball-ico-identity-layer/This can be really hudge.
