If I hold my Bitcoin in my Blockchain or Coinbase Wallet, will I get any BCC after the hard fork happens?

Jaxx might support BCC but you will not get BCC if you keep your bitcoin in your blockchain or coinbase wallet. Is the chain for sure going to split or is this a possibility and if just a possibility how likely? If the chain does split which of the 2 coins will be dominate in value? If a person holds bitcoin in a bitcoin wallet and the coin forks what exactly happens to the coins in that wallet? It would be nice to have this all sorted out in order to know how best to move forward so many thanks for any advice you can give. |

Ok, thanks for the answer.  I also have one other question. What's the total maximum supply of the coin? Someone in the forum said it doesn't have maximum supply at this time. But i found other different answers to the questions elsewhere. If it doesn't have max supply , when will it be determined? I think it is a very important question for any new investors that wish to invest in a new cryptocurrency. For example, we know that bitcoins has 21 M max supply, etc... I hear ya but Bitcoin doesn't stake so it's a different animal in terms of carving in a max supply. With the staking variable it's more fluid and there are variables that can impact what the total supply might look like. In the future it may very well be this coin has a max supply number but as of right now I'm just not sure what the number would be or how to exactly calculate it. This doesn't scare me and it's not unheard of. We don't know what the total max supply of gold or silver will be but it's being bought up by plenty of investors. If you look at fiat currency they run those presses wide open printing that junk with no end in sight and no concept of the term "max supply" and yet at the moment pretty much the entire world is functioning on that non-asset backed, over-valued, unpredictable, government and elite manipulated, non- max supply, waiting to come crashing down money!  |

If I understand you, you would want to increase the block reward to generate more interest ?  Sound also great to me Not exactly more interest but I suppose it would do that for those who mined it and let it sit and stake. My thoughts are more along the lines of addressing the issue where we have potential proof of work miners looking at the coin and saying no thanks I'll pass. That's because they do a bit of quick math and determine they will not be able to turn an immediate profit mining the coin. This in turn reduces mining activity which in turn reduces the network hash rate which then has a negative impact on the security and even success of the coin. Right now when you mine a block you only get a bit over 3 coins and then when you factor the current value of the coin and the cost of mining a block it's not exactly super enticing. If we rework that and give a much bigger reward than the current 3 coins we stand a good chance of attracting miners and mining pools and that could be beneficial to the coin IMHO. I say beneficial because: - More people involved with the coin
- Increased coin security
- Increased transaction speed and capacity
- Increased trading volume on the exchanges
And thing is where did this problem really come from? It's coded right into the wallet and it's called halving. Based on the code and at different points on the block chain count the amount of coins you get when you mine a block gets cut in half hence the term "halving." This is a concept that goes way back even to the early days of bitcoin it was in play. Now I'm not saying halving is evil mind you and there is some logic behind it. In my mind the main problem is that when you release a coin and you've coded the halving points in there you have no clue on earth if those points will be properly timed when the block chain gets there in the future. Yeah sure if the coin booms up yada yada that's one thing but on the other hand and using this coin as an example the halving in the code has not matched up with the coins current value and market position hence vastly reduced interest in mining Inca. |

OK So maybe a poll on this topic? Several pages back the founder had mentioned the current stake would remain past the masternode implementation to encourage staking which in turn builds more interest in the coin while also helping to secure the network. But now that you are mentioning polls hmmmm.... what sounds good to me is a poll on what the block reward should be in order to generate more interest in mining the coin POW style  This 3.2815 block reward for mining is not going to cut the mustard. |

Thanks for the all your help. I really appreciate I believe in your Coin in the long term run. That's why I will invest money to buy more coins. I have some coins already in my wallet. Do I need to launch the wallet for my coins to stake? ,or I can leave the wallet closed and open the wallet in 40 days to see my earnings? You're welcome on the help You don't have to leave your wallet running 24/7 for your coins to stake. To comment on your long term I would quote a previous poster a few threads back who said, "anything can happen." I can relate to this. I've mined a 1 satoshi coin at major negative ROI but guess what... that coin boomed up like crazy and all of a sudden I was pretty happy about things. On the other hand there was another coin I bought in at around .14 cents and it turned out to be a scam coin and now it's de-listed and not even worth 1 satoshi! This experience gives me good reason to work with this IncaKoin because it's a 4 year old block chain, I've spoken with all the dev's and this is a solid time-proven reliable coin and I think it has tons of potential with some upcoming changes that are in the works. |

Generate "true" is what tells you if you're actually mining. In this case you are mining. However to mine with more core you can change setgenerate true "1-8" in order to add more core. Doing so will results in genproclimit "1-8". You can see you hashespersec "504248" is your speed. it's not much but increasing your core will add to the spead. Setgenerate true "4" during the day is good and during night setgenerate true "6" is good. Well, thats for me. On another point, do you see transactions in the transaction tab? I have the same probleme as you right now. I'm mining, but I don't get any transaction. So if anyone wants to help us, here's what I have: 09:54:13

I do think your mining after looking at your getmininginfo output. The likely explanation is that the difficulty level vs. your hashrate has equaled you not getting a block since yesterday evening. If you want you can always shut down the wallet and reboot it and start mining again and recheck your getmining info. I hope you get some blocks soon! |

Wow, it is really exciting I think I won't mine from my home computer, but instead from a more powerful VPS... What are the specifications I should have on my VPS in order to get the best results and make it profitable? Also, how can I transfer my wallet from my computer to another one? without losing my coins... Seremas, If you do the math and assuming you want to mine coins and immediately sell them I don't think you can see an ROI and that is based on current coin value and current block reward. If the current block reward and/or the coin value goes up then the ROI issue will look much different. Not all miners are alike. Some want to mine and sell mine and sell and generate enough profit that they consider it to be worthwhile. Other miners will mine a coin at break even ROI or even at a negative ROI because they are on a more long term approach and are maybe going to stake the coin for gains and also speculating that the coin could boost up in value. Maybe this approach is something like a speculative mining hobby lol! What you choose to mine or not mine and whatever your strategy is that's up to you. As far as a wallet transfer you can click on file and then click backup and create a backup copy that can be placed into another wallet. Alternately you can also just navigate to the data directory and copy the file named wallet.dat. The copy of wallet.dat that you create can be placed into a wallet and presto bingo your ready to go. The location of your IncaKoin data directory may vary as some people use the default location and some don't. If you're unable to locate it let us know your operating system and you can get some quick guidance on that if needed. |

Hello, I am new here . I have installed the Wallet, and I have transferred Incakoins to my wallet. How can i stake those coins to earn the 9 % interest per 35 days. Is there a procedure if someone want to stake the coins from the main balance? Seremas good to see you in the community! As far as I know the coins will stake without you having to do anything. By just having and holding coins in that wallet they will stake automatically. Based on the coin specs they should stake something like 9% every 35 days but that can vary a bit. |

This doesn't seem right. every minute 1 block is being mined. 1 block = 3.28 NKA. In 1 hour you could get 60 blocks MAX ==> 196 NKA. In one day you could get MAX of 4725. That would be $1.94 a day MAX, but realistically, you would get 30% of that which equals 57 cents. Not worth to mine this coin. So it is cheaper to buy the coin then mine. Even if you have the fastest mining equipment, the bottle neck is 1 block per minute.
I agree with you in that if you do the math on a day to day mining basis you can't ROI this coin right now. I also agree with these other posters that are saying the coin stakes and can gain in value so in the long run that mining could pay off. Now with all that being said I want to point out that there are current discussions to change the block reward on this coin. This is to address the point which you precisely made and past that to help encourage mining which will help secure the network. Question is a bit of mathematics will need to be done in order to decide what the block reward should be changed to. Based on your quick math you arrived at .57 a day. If you're math is in the ball park I would say a block reward of 50 would start looking very good to a miner. An IncaKoin block reward of 50 would tweak your numbers to something more like $8.70 a day. I suppose whoever decides on what the new block reward is will also need to consider that as that change brings in more miners the difficulty level will go up so maybe the block reward would need to be more than 50. If we have any experienced miners running around the place I'd love to hear your input on what you think would be a good block reward number to generate good interest in mining this coin EDIT: One other thing I forgot to mention that does matter. This coin mines right from the wallet with just a cpu. This makes it very miner friendly for a newbie since you wouldn't have to setup and run mining software nor join a mining pool. The bar for mining this coin is very low and one doesn't need high dollar ASICS, video cards, advanced technical knowledge etc. etc. |

Hi guys . I'm new in this forum and cryptocurrency world. I have a question . Actually I'm mining from incakoin wallet using the command frome console ( setgenerate true 4 ) . What I don't understand is this fact . I have moore than 8000 transasctions of inca , 3.28 each , but matured coins only 0.9878 . How much time is needed to mature all the transactions . I have readed about 5000 blocks for having reward .It is true ? thanks .
The block timing is about 60 seconds but it does tend to vary a bit. Anyway if you do the math you got 24 hours a day times 60 minutes for an approximate amount of 1440 IncaCoin blocks a day. Since the confirmation time is 5000 blocks you have 5000 divided by 1440 or 3.47 days. So to answer your question you can generalize that the coins you mine will be ready to roll in roughly 3-4 days time. Glad to hear you're interested in and mining this coin. I've got a wallet mining and have a question.
It says Amount and Rounds: 1 000 Biblepay / 2 Rounds
The transaction register is empty and available, pending and total balances read 0.
Did I mine 1000 coins but they aren't confirmed yet? I have one miner where Amount and Rounds: is just zero but another miner shows 1000 so I guess that must mean something?

Very interesting coin. I've got the wallet up and running but am stuck at block 159 and showing 6 active connections. I see some cool features built into the wallet and I like it. Will be glad to get this wallet running properly and will be glad when I can buy some coin on the exchange. We were just stuck on that block due to a pump-n-dump earlier, but we recovered. We have a feature that allows the chain to continue if that happens (after one hour of being stuck). Looks good now. Thanks Valkad!
