Lets be clear the market of icos is mainly little bits of software built on ETH. Everything is being focused on what I see as a flawed platform.
You have to look past this short term fashion and at real projects with real innovations in blockchain tech not eth apps!
Xtrabytes is a real innovation but its invisible in a sea of eth apps that might get millions for the scammer ico makers but they will mostly crash to very little value in rhe coming year.
Forget eth apps for long term investing. You will get stung bad and the only winner will be the guys who took btc off you.
I leave ETH because the price action is too high for buy area, maybe until next year, I'll not buy it. Many coins show up make's trade so difficult, too many choices make me scare. I think it is normal that in the mid ico token sales experience slow movement. Because there are some investors who choose to buy tokens when approaching the end of ico Yes as many investors will just observe how the project is moving. To decide if they buy or not. This coin grow up slower then I think before, but for new coin is fine. There's more time to reach the goal and prepare a good platform for member. For now I only buy and hold to make profit not trade. I believe this is the best strategy for me because I have no skill and knowledge. I use long time period and buy cheap coins, never forget stop loss and we call it martiangle strategy. As for me, my favorite cryptocurrencies are Bitcoin, Ethereum, Zcash, and Litecoin. I chose Bitcoin because of its high value on the markets, not to mention that it was the first cryptocurrency to bring the concept of the blockchain. In the case of Ethereum, I like it because it employs a new concept where organizations and corporations can do businesses in a decentralized way powered by smart contracts which I believe that it's revolutionary. And finally, Litecoin is also one of my favorites since transactions settle very quickly, as well as it has adopted SegWit which makes it better than ever to handle more transaction load and enable the possibility for faster transactions with the activation of the Lightning Network. Nevertheless, I would like to hear your thoughts about your favorite cryptocurrency. My favorite coins is eth and ripple, they have a good price action and news for speculation. I define " favorite " just because I have profit on trade with that coins. Simple strategy, long time period and good money management make me so happy. As the newspaper notes, the date of launching the project may not be accidental: on that day, August 1, the so-called user-activated soft-key (UASF) may take place in the bitcoin network, as a result of which the Segregated Witness protocol should be activated.
And the day before, on July 31, activation of another network scaling solution called SegWit2x, which has already received significant support of the miners, is not ruled out.
It is possible that the authors of the project have prepared a surprise for the crypto-community, which, against the background of possible chaos in the bitcoin network these days, will help Litecoin to take stronger positions.
