I wanted to ask you guys if there are some extremely cheap coins at ~0-50 sat, that have the potential to come out big in ~5 years. I am pretty new to this and there are so many coins I can't even get an overall view about them. Till now I know RDD and XVG.
There's no one knows where the altcoin going, become popular or scam?. We only can predict but real market has their own answer. That's why we using stop loss to minimalize loss. I got into altcoin trading just recently, a week or so ago. Honestly I never dealt with exchanges before and this is all new to me but it's both fun and very stressful. I'm not a big time player, in fact I started out with nothing and just mined some Hush, sold that and bought ARK/Waves/Shift/Espers. I own maybe $500 worth of coins right now lol, but I plan to increase this. However stress is getting to me. I keep checking the prices, trying to buy low and sell high and I do that at work now as well and even dream about it. I dreamed Espers was getting pumped and my exchange closed Espers trading and I woke up all pissed off and sweaty and cursing the non existent exchange. I'm not very interested in the tehnology I just want to trade as I find that a lot of fun. But I need to deal with the stress somehow  It's fine for people like you to get strees, same like me when start trading or get loss. But every one has the same problem with different solutions. Try to fix your strategy with long time period with wise management, use only 60% from your money. If you feel strees just hang up your pc and get some rest, that's the easy way to still fresh. I think it is stupid to sell now. You sell low, you lose your profits. Simple as that. Patience and not panicing is everything. Whales love these opportunities to buy now and are happy to sell you back your coins when the market is rising again because then your FOMO kicks in. Many people are stupid again at this point. It is literally free money for everybody who is not entirely stupid.
I also could be wrong of course. My portfolio is down about 60% over the last 2 weeks. But I didn't sell a single coin so far. I even took a small loan to buy some cheap coins which I expect to rise again after the next pump.
Who else didn't sell anything and thinks it will be the right course of action? Please elaborate.
That's your opinion not mine, but every one has their own strategy. People who sell now is just panic sell, that's natural with this big speculation. But most of them hold it with patience and hope that next month after August the price will comes up again. If we have extra money maybe will follow your strategy, but people with no money will sell it for safety. Good luck. |

Not me, I exchange my btc into currency, not coins. I believe btc impact will dump coins too, there's connection within them. There's no doubt, currency is more safety than coin today. For me is worth to invest with dash coin. But I think don't buy dash until 1 August, because there's big speculation with btc and will be giving impact to altcoin. I suggest buy monero and ripple, just those coin can make profit for you. Monero has stable price action and volume, really good pattern for investment. My favorite coins today is xrm, but still waiting until buy area to get the right price. For me xrm has stable volume, even the price falling down but not too deep like others coins. Now with the availability of cheap ETH, maybe more people can join in. Particularly people buying ETH with fiat. Lets just hope the decrease in Ethereum price doesn't hurt the project funding by making the already collected ETH worthess.
This could also be a bothersome thing for the team because of the continuous price drop of ETH but I'm sure it won't go too low to be called 'worthless'. Also, investors will go all out and buy more coins from the ICO when ETH prices are down to profit the most. Even eth price falling down but this project looks successful with their platform.
