3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: copytrading on: January 19, 2023, 07:05:16 AM
Copy trading is for those who own a lot of money + they don't have time to spend on the analysis and all the trading-related stuff but i am damn sure a newbie or a person who owns a few amounts of money should not try this. As recently in Pakistan copy trading by students from the waqar zaka official was the hot topic for taking wrong trades in volatile market.
If someone has a lot of money and they do not have the time or the interest to learn how to trade on their own then why use copytrading when they can simply hire a money manager which could do the job for them? Now obviously picking a money manager has all kind of issues and pitfalls in which you may fall, but that would be the correct option for those people, in a way those which engage in copytrading seem to want to imitate this dynamic but without having to pay big money for the service.
That is the main reason why I don't recommend to put your money in fund manager because you do not have full control in your investments. There are a lot of safe proclaim fund manager who's faking their identity to steal the money of their investors. There are also some instances where they purposely lose the funds that they hold. It is possible to make money from investing in fund managers but the risks are too high because finding the right fund manager is not easy. It is really hard to find someone who have a good skill in managing the funds.

I prefer to do copy trading than investing in fund manager because you have more control on your assets on it, there are some fund managers who have strict rules and condition where you cannot withdraw your funds immediately.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to profit from altcoins collapses? on: January 18, 2023, 09:52:47 AM
Basically, by shorting it; you can make profit from the collapses if you do shorting it. But there are only few shitcoins that are been listed on futures market so it is really hard to pick altcoins that are been collapsing. Before I catch up the huge dump in FTX because of its scandal where I shorted it with low margin and I earn bucks from it. Try to research coins that are been listed on futures market with bad team and with bad services because usually those coins are good for shorting.

But don't always do shorting because your psychology can be destroyed it is better also if you will do long market but make sure that you have a good trading plan and strategies that you could use to make profit in the market. Finding the right altcoin for long market is also hard to find so better you have knowledge and set of unique skills that you can use in order to pick the right coin that you will short or long.

8  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bulls back? on: January 17, 2023, 02:23:52 PM
I was thinking BTC was going to be on a down hill mostly until near end of 2023. Do you believe this is a bull trap or true recovery for next bull is now here?

I would be interested to see what you people think and why.

:3

Hard to say, but if you look at previous history, after a worst year, like in 2018 we bounce back a bit in 2019 in preparation for the bitcoin block halving in 2020. So this might be the same scenario here, 2022 is one of the worst bear market, but maybe this 2023 we could see a recovery, not the bull run that we expecting, but at least a good $30k-$40k at the end of the year will not be that bad isn't it.

In any case though, either bull trap or true recovery, I will advise you to continue to accumulate, the price is still very cheap today. Save and stack sats as much as you can and then we will see what will be the price in the next bull run, it could be a conservative $100k or higher. And that will be a huge profit for us if we start to pile up BTC thru DCA or any strategy that works for you.
The recent recovery became the reason why we saw a new market sentiment, people are now being happy after they see that the price of the bitcoin is finally goes back $20,000, it is a good move for the BTC because of the consecutive monthly down of its price. I'm part of the people that saying reversal is now happening and it can take weeks to months for us to see that the price of the bitcoin will create series of higher highs and higher lows. If we have enough plan for this new trend then we can catch a lot of opportunities.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: copytrading on: January 17, 2023, 12:42:54 PM
If you really want to earn some passive income through copy trading then my suggestion is you can try Etoro where you can also see the history and the win rate of the trader that you want to copy but I do not suggest this kind of strategy to make profits because it makes you a DEPENDENT INVESTOR/TRADER. You do not have any power to buy in right time and to exit in the market. If you became a dependent investor, you will lose confidence in yourself where you prefer to follow the decision of others rather than your own decision. I suggest that you should divide your capital in half first then try to invest the 1st half in gaining skills and knowledge about trading and use the other half for your startup capital account.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not believe every crypto news you read online on: January 17, 2023, 08:32:59 AM
This issue of news media over exaggerating some of the article they published its not a new thing especially the bogus information we see in the internet about some crypto project with false details on how they are different and stand out from other coins in the crypto space. And most of the article that are exaggerated in the news about crypto are actually paid for just to get more attention on the project and most of them are usually shit altcoins project used for scamming people who fall and pick an interest in this news.
Unfortunately that's not something that will stop anytime soon, we are talking about a method that is getting more and more attention for them, which is why they do it and that's the issue. Normally if they wrote or talked about exactly what happened, no opinions or no hype basically just the news itself then it's not going to be read or watched. That's why they end up with doing something that's going to be clickbait because that's going to end up with these topics.

This is why I believe that we are going to be a bit more problematic and that's why we are seeing these news and not ging to get anything proper and can't find proper news anywhere at all.
If they did not give the source of the news where they say that the source is: Trust me bro (no credibility), then come on; I don't have time to click the news. Most of the people are making their decision fundamentally where they wait for some news before buying or entering. I cannot say it is not a good strategy but there are few people who making huge bucks for this strategy but there is huge part of the people who keep losing because of this strategy because they making decision from the non-credible news outlet that they are following. Maybe it is just a hype that can make you lose a lot of money. So be careful to the news lately because majority of them are not true especially if the source has no credibility.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody else confused by the dead-coins pump ? on: January 17, 2023, 06:17:27 AM
I can consider it as manipulation, it always happening where certain coin does not have any more uses and can be called as scams but the big players (whales) are usually pumping those coins where they putting huge margins in the bottom for the price to manipulate and it can go pump. When the traders and some investors saw it, they are entering in that coin while the whales are starting to sell their position that may cause huge dump and losses for some investors and traders. As a trader, I avoid those kinds of coins because it is a double edge sword for me. Yes, it can give me huge gain in the short term but one wrong move, I'm aware that I can lose huge amount of money so it is better if I avoid it.
12  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: January 17, 2023, 05:22:45 AM
It's you. The biggest obstacle to achieve financial freedom is ourselves. We cannot blame someone if we are not living lifestyle that we want, the only thing that we can only blame is ourselves. That's the truth in this cold world. Financial freedom is possible if we have desires and also plan on how we can become like that.

Dreams are just dreams if we will not work and seek opportunities in this world full of abundance. Our mind is limitless, people who don't grow are not thinking outside of the box. That is the reason why we need to think differently from others. There is knowledge that are not publicly available because some of it has price and that kind of knowledge that we should seeking for us to think outside of the box that can helps us to achieve financial freedom.

Exactly, we should not blame the situation, the government, or anyone else when we fail, the biggest obstacle is still ourselves. We fear everything and don't dare to step out of our comfort zone to take bigger risks to challenge us, we don't dare to face difficulties and don't expect to become financially free. If you only know how to blame others all day but don't accept the blame for yourself, you will forever be a failure.
Have you ever wondered why our friends succeed and we fail while we grew up together? My friends, many have succeeded, but I still fail, this is my fault not the government's fault, or my parents are poor, I didn't try my best.
I usually avoid people who keep blaming and hating someone, they are so toxic that it can affect your personality and psychology. If you are in the position where you can't afford your basic necessities then don't blame your family especially your parents, or friends and even the government. They are not the faulty ones who put you in this kind of position, it's your fault why you are still in this kind of situation. Tere are a lot of abundance in this world, if we train our mind; we can see those opportunities. We lack desires and that is the reason why we do not have motivation to pursue our dreams. Sacrificing is also part of the game, if you want to succeed then go out in your confort zone and sacrifice things that do not have connections in your path.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: It's Simple to understood now cash is king again on: January 16, 2023, 09:49:29 AM
Actually, the term "Cash is King" is using whenever the market is crashing or collapsing. It only means that it is better to liquidate your assets and turn it to cash because it's value will stay if the assets are crashing. Like what happened last year when the FTX scandal happened. I sold all of my positions because "Cash is King" and I avoided the market collapse wherein it saves me a lot of money and profit. When the scandal subsides, I reinvest again in different assets. Of course, my largest portion is still in cryptocurrency market, and it made me a lot of profit in rally in these past days.

15  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bottom of the Bear Market...let's accumulate!! on: January 16, 2023, 06:48:13 AM
~~~
For those of you still trying to build out a Bitcoin stash you can be happy with, including those of you trying to get up to being a whole-coiner, this will likely be the last year you can make significant progress on that as it'll start getting real hard to accumulate tenths of a bitcoin when the price is mid five figures, high five figures, and in the six figures.
Who is accumulating and how much are you hoping to add to your stash this year?
We can invest in bitcoin whenever we want, bitcoin will always make a profit. But I agree with OP one thing, if someone misses 2022, then maybe this is the last year we see bitcoin under $20k. If we miss this opportunity and when another bull season arrives, buying bitcoin will become even more difficult. Remember the lesson when bitcoin was at 3k in 2018, and if someone didn't buy it, there was no chance.
Of course, we can still invest later, but if you want to make a lot of profit, let's accumulate now, procrastination will not help us become rich.
At some point investors need to accept the fact they need to take a risk and invest in bitcoin, maybe they missed the bottom already or maybe the bottom is yet to come, but that does not matter, what matters is to take action now, because each day it passes the closer we get to the next halving, and while it may still seem to be far away we must not forget that time flies by and before we know it the halving will be around the corner and we may find ourselves without enough bitcoin to fully take advantage of it.
Some of us don't like the idea of buying at the bottom because of their worries that it might turn downward further. Then, will regret not buying at a lower price when they see the price moving upward and they missed to take advantage the much lower price. Just like now the price of Bitcoin is increasing, so if an investor bought at $16k price, it's a decent profit already at this time. That's how unpredicted the price is, we'll never know what lies ahead and it's also the reason why we have to take risk if we truly believe the price can go higher and reach its previous ath. As you've said halving may look far still, but the time flies so fast, so while we can still accumulate, do it without hesitation because it's for our own good. But this is if you're not a weak investor and aware of the history of Bitcoin.
Bottom picking and averaging down are usually the strategy of a lot of investors where they are accumulating when the price of the bitcoin is crashing. There are a set of parameters that should be consider before doing that kind of strategy because a lot of investors have low winning rate and the waiting time is too long for this kind of strategy. That is why for short term traders like us, we prefer to buy in trending markets than to do averaging down to lessen the risks and also to follow my niche. I have low winning rate in accumulating in bottom so it is the reason why I don't recommend it for some traders or investors who want to buy while the prices are crashing. My mentor said that cheap price can become more cheaper price that's why I always be careful on buying at the bottom.
16  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: January 16, 2023, 05:32:20 AM
San Antonio Spurs vs Sacramento Kings @ 1.38
The Sacramento Kings (23-18) will face the San Antonio Spurs (13-30) tonight at At&T Center. The Sacramento Kings should win this and cover the spread.
Kings key injuries: Kevin Huerter (illness) questionable
Spurs key injuries: Dough McDermott (back) questionable, Devin Vassel (knee) out
Denver Nuggets @ 1.20 vs Orlando Magic
The Denver Nuggets (29-13) will face the Orlando Magic (16-27) tonight at Ball Arena. The Magic have been performing well on the road but the Nuggets should win this game.
Magic key injuries: Gary Harris (finger) questionable
Nugets key injuries: Jeff Green (finger) out, Jamal Murray (ankel) probable
Los Angeles Lakers @ 2.27 vs Philadelphia 76ers
The Los Angeles Lakers (19-23) will host the Philadelphia 76ers (26-16) tonight at Crypto.com Arena. The 76ers is the heavy favorite but the Lakers seems to play extra hard at home.
Lakers key injuries: Patrick Beverly (illness) out, Anthony Davis (foot) out, Lebron James (ankle) probable, Austin Reaves (hamstring) out, Lonnie Walker IV (knee) out
This parlay is so close, 2-1 the Final Score. Only the Lakers lost in this parlay. The Sacramento Kings beat the San Antonio Spurs with a landslide victory where the Kings is up with 13 points. In the game between Denver Nuggets and Orlando Magic, Nikola Jokic is the reason why the Nuggets won. His clutch 3 points play save them to OT. A lot of people have hype when they saw the highlights of Jokic earlier this morning. It only prove him he deserve the title of MVP of the NBA. In the 3rd match, Lakers lost in 76ers with only 1 point. I thought that the lakers has a momentum but their lineup right now is not healthy as before.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you feel about market recovery on: January 16, 2023, 04:53:11 AM
~
Yeah I can even see it as well in my own extension in my browser. It seems like BTC went from 18k to 20k (almost 21k-ish) within the night last time I checked. Although like I mentioned in here, it is still pretty much early to call it bullish table. I would still call it a slow recovery.
Back to 64k soon maybe after bullish market starts right away. Cheesy
I agree that we might still experience some dips though.
Let's see within few days.
The bullish is confirmed when the bitcoin breaks the strong resistance between $19,000 - $20,000. But it does not mean that we can quickly see the 64k again because there are a lot of resistance ahead and the bitcoin should consolidate for its price to have strong base that is needed when the bullish market appear. Anything is still possible so we should aways have enough plan that we can use to make a perfect decision in any kind of market situation. Dips are normal so we should be prepare of it, it is also one of the best time to acquire market position if we want to do hold in the following months of this year.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: January 15, 2023, 12:24:51 PM
There is no word "safe" in investing world, all of the investments have risks but that risks can be manage through risk management and also knowledge when it comes to best time to entry and to exit in the market. As for my suggestion, don't entry without conviction and knowledge in the market. If you don't know when to entry then it is better to invest in knowledge when it comes to TA or technical analysis first. Because if you just invest in market without knowing it first, then your investment is not "safe" because you do not have enough plan when the market reacts again in your bias. You can lessen the risks by having enough knowledge so your main focus should be acquiring knowledge and seeking investment for you to improve your decision-making skill and lessen the risks that you are taking.
19  Economy / Economics / Re: Use your money wisely. Invest or Deposit ? on: January 15, 2023, 09:09:06 AM
That is the reason why we shoud be financial literate. With Financial literacy, there is a high possibility that we can achieve our desire and have better future because it can be the key to do it. It help us understand our own money and what we can do to improve our finances. It also teaches us how to save and invest and to protect our capitall from financial risks.
For me if your goal is to make more money, then it is better to invest it rather than to sit the cash in bank. I think the interest in our country is just 0.685% to 1.231%. I'm taking about yearly so always consider the interest before you put your money in bank. It is a opportunity cost for me so If I have that money, I'll put the 10% in bank for petty cash then 90% is for investment including investment in myself for me to become financial literate.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 15, 2023, 06:10:59 AM
Ask yourself first if you are going to do long term investment or short-term investment and also what is your plan? If you are going to make long term investment then my suggestion that you should keep your BNB. If you checked the latest market price, you can see that the price of BNB also did some rally so for sure that it already made you a profit if you got that BNB from long time ago. But if you are a short-term investor then it is better to sell it and buy again after the price of the BNB retrace. Its price already bounces in the current resistance and there is a high possibility that it will retrace in these following days.
