481  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Trading Strategies- Best Practices on: February 06, 2020, 03:43:18 AM
I have seen least newbies being consistent. Most of the newbies can think that they already have great knowledge which does not need any much replenishment which might make them directly move onto trades without going through any minor steps which might lead to to have loss.

There are a number of smaller points which should be considered before moving onto real trades because trading with the huge volatile markets would never give you profits if you are unaware about the steps to minimize your risk, maximize your profits, diversify your portfolio, etc because these small things are going to help you on a major extend. That's why I always prefer each and every newbie to spend hours in learning about these points before they could trade with any coin.
This is probably one of the biggest flaws of newbies, they watch a few videos and then they think they are already expert traders that can make a lot of money in the markets in a rapid way, but the markets are more complex than that, if things begin to go in the wrong direction you can be sure they are going to take mistaken decisions and they will try to recover the money they lost as soon as they can, and the markets are very harsh to people like that and sooner rather than later they will find themselves without any money.
They think that they can easily learn trading by just watching videos in the internet. They do not know that there is a process that is required to understand fully the market. It takes months to understand and to become familiar to the price action. Newbies are most likely a arrogant persons because they thought that they fully aware in all of the information in trading just because they watched informative videos.
482  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: February 06, 2020, 02:08:02 AM
We must introduce to them the positive side of bitcoin. If they will only understand that the bitcoin will help our community to grow, they will for surely gonna accept it. Bitcoin will help our community to have faster transaction that will lead to our faster movement of the community. It will for surely gonna rise up since we have a faster transaction caused by bitcoin.

For this, it is necessary that people begin to perceive bitcoin as a currency that has much more convenient functions than regular money or digital varieties of fiat funds.
However, given the specifics of Bitcoin, only one thing becomes obvious, for most people, Bitcoin looks like a speculative investment, thanks to which you can earn.
Or as an asset with which all shadow transactions, including the purchase of drugs, go through.
That is true, most of the people see it as investment and not a currency. They think that it can be safeheaven where it can protect their wealth. I seeing bitcoin as both investment and currency. Actually I often spend my bitcoins through bills and other expenses. Awareness is still the problem why there are still who not aware on it. If we will just share on what we know about it then people will become aware to bitcoin as currency.
483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to open an online Bitcoin Casino on: February 06, 2020, 12:27:28 AM
I'm always looking in a online gambling sites that doesn't requiring my IDs for verification, it is very inconvenience for me. It is also good if a online gambling casino have unique features. The number of users are also important because most of thr gambling site that is closing or experiencing bankrupcy is because they have low users. There are a lot of factors that we should consider, with research we can identify the suitable online gambling casino for us.
484  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: MGA DAPAT IWASAN NG MGA NEWBIE(IWAS SCAM) on: February 05, 2020, 07:59:32 AM

485  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Correct to $6,500? on: February 05, 2020, 07:02:04 AM
The deep pullback is already happen so we only expect that there will be a shallow pullback so it is impossible to say right now that the price will reset at $6500. There are now major support but if the major support broken it is only indicating that the uptrend is now finished. The price is continuing to consolidate above $9000. If it is continue then it is the proof that the market is healthy and the uptrend will continue more.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are exchanges still listing shitcoins? on: February 05, 2020, 02:37:53 AM
All that matters is that they get paid by the project "CEOs" to list their coin/token, and that they could earn money off the trading fees of the coin/token's trading pairs. I'm pretty sure a lot of exchanges don't give a single crap if a certain project is even legitimate or not, as long as they could earn money.
It is really because of profit but there are exchanges that have parameter and rrquired feature first before they list a new coin in their exchanges. It is just normal but we should always be careful when we are trading a certain coin. I do not buy quickly when a new coin got listed in an exchange because there is no data that are available in order for me to analyze it very well. I still prefer to trade cryptocurrencies that have high volume and market capitalization.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling websites need to add self-control functionality! on: February 05, 2020, 01:39:26 AM
The idea sound good enough but the question is, is it actionable?
The truth is, many gamblers will know about this feature and are aware of how it can benefit them yet they won't use it. Especially when the loss in games, they will keep on playing hoping they will win. The self-control of gambling come from within, that is the self-will. Anyone that wants to shy away from gambling addiction should have good will power to say no.
It's very needed if you really wanted to quit, your self will is the one that you need to established since everything about your decision is back up by your own will. Even there's functionality like this inside the house if you can't find the way to stop yourself then it won't be use at all. It's the gamblers decision making that will keep them away from heavy addiction.
But it is not easy to quit especially in the gambler became addicted to it. It takes time and counselling program in order to really stop gambling. The OP is about the gambling site that have feature where a gambler can control his self. I do not yet see a gambling like that where it have unique characteristics. Self-control is the best way in order to lessen the time that we are allocating in to gambling. I also became addicted but I overcome it challenge and now I can now control my emotion and feelings again.
488  Economy / Economics / Re: BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS on: February 04, 2020, 08:32:51 AM
I can appreciate you for predicting it correctly, but the thing is, it is indeed really really unpredictable. Definitely many predictions come true and even I am optimistic about bitcoins future but as honest as I would be, truly, even I have doubts regarding it because, doubt is essential to belief and 0.1 btc can surely be attainable, but I think it's better to buy altcoins than to hold 0.1 btc now. Even if Bitcoin reaches $100000, it will just be 10x returns based on today's price

With altcoins you would be even more gambling

If you are lucky and invest in an altcoin which price goes through the roof, then you will be able to make handsome returns as there are going to be pumps of certain altcoins, which we see happening now and then, followed by inevitable dumps. However, you will need to be extremely lucky to catch these coins as well as these moments (read, enter the coin at the right time and leave it at the right time) as these occurrences will be rare and far in between

Overall, I expect the altcoin market to shrink further in the coming months and years, with the implication being that Bitcoin's domination is going to increase, while the price of altcoins to dump in Bitcoin prices. And it seems to be not even a question of if but rather a question of how much the altcoin market is going to get decimated. People have learned it the hard way that the only reliable coin out there is Bitcoin itself
Luck is not what we need, knowledge is what we should focus. For those who bought shitcoins are now regretting their decision because they did not think carefully before they execute their decision. I'm a type trader who are not relying on luck because I'm not lucky after all and there is no guarantee of returns if I will rely my decision to it. My decisions are often from the data that I learned in different researches and studies. Through experience, I manage to handle risks and I'm now used on what is happening in the market.
489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Promote bitcoin through any means. It'll work! on: February 04, 2020, 06:55:35 AM
Nice video I guess? but people will lose interest in the video itself since the voice wasn't good. I think you used software for the voice, it's better to use a real voice to cover up those lines. It's very creative.

Yes, I agree with the promotion of bitcoin through individuals first. We shouldn't rely on seminars and other events just to develop our community in bitcoin. As an individual, you should think up by yourself on what can you do in our community and @OP tried it through making animated video.

I personally did the same thing but not through animated videos. "Development" and "Improvement" of the Society: Discussion about Blockchain.
Creating videos to promote bitcoin is not enough to spread awareness the best promotion is still the word of mouth for me. Even though it is a organic marketing approach, it still effective nowadays because there are people who always getting curious in many things. I also promote bitcoin specially in retailers, whenever there are small retailers in my community; I always telling the manager that they should accept and adopt bitcoin as mode of payment.
490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Turning 0.005 BTC to 1 BTC? Trading Journal | Currently 24% profit in 4 days on: February 04, 2020, 05:27:13 AM
I wholehearlty support this endeavor of yours, it definitely looks like you are doing a great job and know what you are doing, you are also showing people how they can get into these kinds of stuff as well, maybe 1 btc would be very difficult task for you and any other person but you have to start somewhere that is the point, you can't make 1 btc profit without making 1k satoshi profit first, that is how these things start.

Looking at your previous trades, you are doing shorting very well, longs not so sure about but shorts are definitely a thing you understand easily, I hope for the sake of all humans that are holding btc, you do not come correct about them too frequently Cheesy. All jokes aside I am sure with the amount of leverage and options available you will make to 1 btc quickly.
Anything is possible with proper risk and management, achieving 1 btc is not easy but if we have passion and commitment then we can achieve our own goal but we should make sure that our goal is realistic where it is feasible to achieve. When I started trading of bitcoin, I have a capital of 0.1 but I manage to double it in 3 months. It took me months in order to double it because we cannot always win everyday in trasing there will be times that the outcome will be unexpected.
491  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin ang future shitcoin ayon Kay Mcafee on: February 04, 2020, 04:24:25 AM
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: February 04, 2020, 02:35:26 AM
Gamblers wants a good outcome but before this thing to happen, you must assess first the process. So I'll go for the process, gambling requires a lot of self-control and patience most probably, on that process many gamblers failed and lose their money on the process. Gamblers should not only focus on the outcome, I mean it must be a goal oriented but also need to focus on the process and the discipline, in any form of gambling knowing the reason why you're doing it is the best process to put you in a good outcome.
I'll go with process, we should allocate more time in determining the process than the outcome. If we want better outcome then we should have good process where we have control in terms of managing our emotions and feelings. The outcome that will have will be depends on what kind of a process that we are doing. If we are a type of gambler eho are just playing without prior information then it is expected that the outcome will be bad.
493  Economy / Speculation / Re: Start buying on: February 03, 2020, 12:46:53 PM
I do not acquiring bitcoin just because the halving is near, I accumulating nowadays because the market is bull. I'm a trend follower and holding at bullish market is one of the best strategy to use because the market is continuing to increase. There are many strategies that we can use when we are going to buy bitcoin. I often buy bitcoin when its price surpass the resistance because the previous resistance will become support and a new resistance will form and it is a characteristic of a healthy market.
494  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [Advices needed] Best learning materials and trading method for beginners. on: February 03, 2020, 03:55:56 AM
Before I entered in the cryptocurrency market, I became a stock trader and that is why I have enough knowledge before I entered in the market. The approaches and studies that I learned in stock market are also applicable in crypto market. The first book that I read is the the trading code, the author is a filipino if I'm not mistaken. I learned from the book how read candlesticks and also charts. It also help me to identify support and resistance and also market reversals.
495  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: February 03, 2020, 02:45:04 AM
Almost everyone says that will dominate the market is bitcoin, because they always believe that bitcoin is the best and popular coin of all time.
because most people choose bitcoin because it proves to be profitable compared to other coins and always gives a good return, especially in long-term investments.
Bitcoin shows the most potential out of all the others on the cryptocurrency market, that's why a fair amount of people trust it, and ever since bitcoin reached an all time high last 2017, it had become a mainstream coin and basically became the face of cryptocurrency for quite some time. I still have trust on bitcoin, but who knows? The competition is pretty much close right now, let's just wait and see who comes up on top and stays there.
It's been 10 years but the bitcoin is still dominating the market, I also observed that most of people are only aware about bitcoin and they do not have knowledge about altcoins. I'm sure that the bitcoin will remain at top. I do not agree that time will come where an altcoin will replace bitcoin at the top. The competition is not stiff what you think like, it is already above 67% the domination of the bitcoin in the market.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: February 03, 2020, 01:43:26 AM
I will stop gambling if I won a lottery worth few millions on in casinos where I get the overall profits in few hundred bitcoins. Grin

Sounds too much right but this will be the mindset of every gambler that is why people who won huge money also keep continuing.Greediness will never get satisfied...
Lol, nobody would say that they will stop gambling if they won in a lottery. Dude, that's a big win. It's millions with a $ sign on it. I'm sure that greediness will take over you since you already prove that you can win millions. Why not trying again? Double the cash double the happiness
More money in hand = More chances of winning.

The first sentence is what most of the gamblers are saying when they are not winning huge amounts of money yet but if they experienced winning, it will be reversed because greediness will eat their minds. They are thinking that if they will gamble more, they have more chances of winning more money Cheesy. Greediness is one of the deadliest attitudes when it comes to gambling so don't let yourself be eaten by it or you will be lost big time money Cheesy.
Worse perceptions while inside this activities. Instead of quitting since you'll already have decent profits, you'll keep pushing thinking that you will be able to win more. The outcome most of the time is you'll  be losing it back together with your bankroll. If you can control your greediness you'll be okay with small earnings instead of seeking for much bigger.
Yeah that's a good idea to gamble with less greed and more interest. I prefer gambling usually with my additional income and spare some money from pocket money. I get &20k for monthly pocket money so I spend 10k on gambling and keep the other 10k for my other expenses. I never cross my limited amount of gambling as it saves me from loss and also helps me earn more profit.
You allocate big amount of your monthly income and for me it is not good idea. It is the 50% of your cash flow and it is risky if you will allocate in gambling all the time. I have earned and passive income of $2000 per month and I do not allocate more than 20% of it in gambling. I already know the risks and profit is not matyer for me. I only seek enjoyment and that is why I only investing 5-10% of my monthly income.

498  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk management , how ? on: February 02, 2020, 05:49:27 AM
It is about your risk appetite and also about how will you handle a certain risk. We should be aware that cryptocurrencies are risky investment and risk and management is important in order to minimize the risks that we can take if we invest our money. Many traders are just keep buying and selling without proper risk and management and it is a big problem because they cannot handle it very well that can lead to major losses.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee called BITCOIN as a Shitcoin! on: February 02, 2020, 01:20:41 AM
It is just his assumptions and opinions and we should not believe to him. He is a ignorant person who doesn't fully understand the market. He said that bitcoin is a shitcoin because his prediction did not happen. It is better if we will not believe to what he keep saying because it is the best decision that we can do. For those people who keep believing on the opinions of John Mcafee are dumb so it is better if we will ignore him.
500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's in the game, after all? on: February 02, 2020, 12:13:55 AM
Actually I am playing some dice also in which skills are doesn't matter and the only one matter is there is your luck. Yes! Your luck because in dice it is just a matter of luck in which the number that you bet may show when the dice finished on rolling, in which it is not necessary that you need some skills just to win, unlike on poker or baccarat in which you really need some skills in order for you to read what the cards of the other enemies in order to set up a plan on how you guys will destroy them right?
It is all about enjoyment, I also playing dice games in order for me to enjoy. Dice games doesn't need our skills, it is about pure luck. My winning rate in dice games is above average where I have 60% in terms of winning. Most of the gamblers are also prefer to play dice games because it id easy to underdtand due to basic mechanics. Dice games for me is all about enjoyment, there are times that I killing my time by playing that kind of game.
