How much would you pay for a legendary account?
I'm guessing I would probably sell my Bitcointalk forum account once it reaches Legendary status...

that depends.. it'll take almost 2 years for your account to reach legendary rank, and a lot can happen in that time. btc price and signature campaign pay rate will definitely change. also we don't know if signature campaign will still be around after the new forum software is completed.

I don't see why signature campaigns wouldn't be around after the new forum software comes out. That's an important feature the forum enables; I'm pretty sure developers have that in mind.

by the time when your account will become legendary there will be alot of new legendary accounts as well and i think price will reduce more as accounts now are not that vluable as they used to be so i think between 1 BTC to 2 BTC would be fine.

That's an excellent point. When most of the present legendary accounts were opened it would've been 2011/12 and further back. There really weren't very many people on this forum back then.

Now there are over half a million and people who joined in late 2013 in hordes will be legendary in a few months or a year if they stuck around.

0.5 btc is way too cheap for a legendary account, wasn't that long ago that senior accounts alone would cost about 0.4 btc, let alone the higher ranks.

It can be sold for higher prices, if the legendary account have a green trust ratings. But I think , no one will sell his account which is in best condition.

Yes, once upon a time...
Now you can buy a Senior Member account for 0.20 BTC, Hero account for 0.50 BTC.
0.50 BTC for Legendary is absurd price. You can't buy a Legendary for less than 1 BTC unless it has full of negative trusts.

Yes, it's very cheap and nobody sell a Legendary account for that price. He said he will pay 0.50 BTC most, so I guess he can't buy any Legendary accounts unless Bitcoin price skyrocket up to 3000$ something.

this is heavy dependent on the quality of post and especially on the trust a senior with a good trust can be worth more than 1 btc let alone a good legendary we are talking about 5 btc in some case

besides this i do not thing there are many that are willing to buy at such high price

This is too much money mate for any account of this forum. I don't think anybody will be willing to pay this amount for a legendary account even in the near future. 1.5 wiuld be a maximum at the moment and that is if your quality of posts is extremely high.

This account i believe belongs to one of the funniest posters here and not only that been he is one mean scam buster.

Only down side to buying this account is that it probably comes with a few enemies,

i will say thats a future pridiction when legendary accounts will go for 0.5 BTC easily because yes you are right sr member used to sale at 0.4 BTC but not anymore because of the number of accounts are to much now and same thing will happen with legendary thats what my point was

I don't see the point of having this account if it's so well known and everybody will know that you bought it. Person that buys it will still have to start from the beginning and earn all the trust in the community. That's pretty much like you payed 7 BTCs for a newbie account!
