i know some people in my hometown who have this castle which is falling apart (1276 A.D.). They are part of a noble family but don't have much money to take care of the castle.
I have a secret plan... One day I want it for me.
Don't! Owning a castle is not fun, it's a burden. If you really really really love it and you want to make it the center of your life, go for it. Else, stay away, just rent one for a week or two every once in a while

Yeah, well, I'm gonna go build my own blockchain. With blackjack and hookers! In fact forget the blockchain.

I have a castle for sale for 4500 BTC, or serious offer Where at and will you owner finance? We are talking about the famous Bitcoin Castle in Malla, Estonia. And no, you don't buy castles on credit Eh if you don't ask the answer is always no. I'll keep chipping away I suppose.

Else, stay away, just rent one for a week or two every once in a while I once toured multiple stately homes and country estates looking for some land to use. Without exception the owners were desperate and horrifically broke. One guy lived in a green house in his main hall as that was the only thing he could afford to heat. Maybe I was hanging out with the wrong people.

While it is true a castle in own use costs money indeed, it can be used also for business but then it has to be in good shape. Weddings, concerts, accomondation etc. can be organized there and they all bring money in + you probably can apply some kind of financial aid from EU or some other instance - after all, it has some historical value.
All of the above is true to a certain extent, but as someone with modest experience in the hospitality business I can honestly tell you that there's probably not a single "ancient"* castle in the world that truly makes money. There are locations where a castle is accompanied by a large, new resort or something where business is profitable, though. *ancient meaning not just a fake facade like Disneyworld If you mean by ancient the ruins, it definetely will not make money. However, if the castle is renovated with style (you can hire cheap labour from eastern Europe - probably you will get professionals from countries like Poland, Romania, Bulgaria etc. for less than 3-5 euros/hour) it should bring some income. Of course the maintenance is a headache, but also the owner can do it while spending some good time there. After all, the maintenance of own castle should be fun also and one needs to love it and serving the customers with high standards. Also managing the castle probably gives a lot of time when the manager can also enjoy (not every minute there is a customer). The prices should also be competive especially in country like Estonia. It will not be a gold mine but I think it is possible to make some money while having good times...

The lambo thing is very possible and might happen very soon. This is not only applicable to BTC but also to ETH the rival of BTC in the coinmarketcap. Cant wait to have my lambo in 2020 This is the beauty of crypto.

In the automotive sphere, bitcoins are often taken as payment for premium cars. So, the sensational Tesla Model S cost about 140 thousand euros not once sold for bitcoins at the current rate.

Base on this info it means the owner of The Bitcoin Pub website is a possible con artist In this video Peter Saddington claims he bought BTC in 2011 and is the first person in the world to buy a lambo with the coin. Clearly this thread is evidence of the lie. Has anyone heard of this guy on BTC talk because I have not! I have had accounts here since 2013 but multiple bans...anyone whos been around knows about the lambo El Cabron purchased https://youtu.be/yY86vH7z9qAgoat was first, it was yellow, he didn't keep it long end of story he deleted most of his posts before he left, I don't know when he changed his user name to El Cabron. He was a fixture here back in the day. Started a private board called crypto crypt...all those guys are probably rich as fuck by now.

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable. Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Official Lamborghini for bitcoin thread! Well people can stop saying "What can you buy with BTC?" and Greenspan I hope can start to realize there might be some "intrinsic value" in BTC. Car was bought here www.lambonb.com using Bitpay. Thank you both for making this happen. Also tip of the hat to Satoshi. I know there is some media interested in this story. You can contact me at lambo4btc@gmail.comHere are some pics. According to me this is really very very good news that a luxury car company has accepted bitcoin as a payment and sold his car in exchange of bitcoin . Lamborghini suppose to be the very expensive car and many people can just dream of having it but bitcoin has enabled to complete this dream. Bitcoin always helps people in achieving my dreams in life and moreover this is very big achievement for bitcoin also that its use has been started as a payment method

He probably has tens of thousands of btc. Remember Goat ran a pass-through for Pirate@40. The pass-through operators were never prosecuted and kept all their btc.
