How it everyone feeling during this altcoin crash?

55% is not enough for me to cash out, it might sound greedy to some but my portfolio hit a high of around +140% December 2024 so I’m expecting it to at least go back to that level again before we enter a bear market.

What we have seen last 48 hours has been pure manipulation, my altcoin portfolio went from +50% to less than break even in just an hour or so. I didn’t panic, bought some cheap while it was low and it’s now back at +35% again currently.

Manipulation by whom? Trump? And why wasn't it manipulation when it was gong up? Bitcoin isn't a security, so it's not protected against inside trading.

There's highly suspicious account making $160M by shorting right before the china announcement, but the actual announcement was the reason for markets falling, not the shorting. And most volatile assets are going to be first casualties when it comes to world market.

How can someone set up a trading account for the first time and short the market just hours before trumps announcement and make over $100m or whatever it was.

It will all be fine anyway, those of us who survived it without panicking and bought the lows will be rewarded in the coming months.

Less than 48 hours now till we get another rate cut and 72 hours till Trump meets with China to discuss tariff deal so it should be a bullish week.

Still feel we will get an altseason but I have no idea when it will be now I thought it would have been by end of year but could be January now.

I have been 100% altcoins since I started apart from a few months when I DCA into Bitcoin when it was around $50k.

I would be up a lot more now had I only invested into Bitcoin but I do think altcoins will have their move soon. I am not expecting massive returns but 5-10x for many should still be likely as we have only just entered November and with 2 rate cuts now , QT ending 1st December and Trump likely making a deal with China soon this should finally give us a good environment to have a good few months going into 2026.

My plan is to sell my altcoins when they do finally move like they did end of 2024, and then with my altcoin profits just DCA into Bitcoin only for a few years.

I haven’t sold anything yet I’m waiting for some kind of altseason to happen like we had end of last year and then I will sell.  Makes no sense selling now with altcoins so far down.

But the Altcoin you are holding is basically foolish patience, because to be patient, you should be patient in the right place. Bitcoin is currently at $104k, if it falls below $98k then I might start to question what is going on but until then I just hold.

An altcoin season was long overdue. But each time there's excitement in the crypto space, negative news in the mainstream economy emerge, putting us back to square one. Market prices for most altcoins continue to be on decline. None of them have been able to cross their last-recorded ATHs. Not even Ethereum has been able to reach $5k. All of the attention is on Bitcoin right now.

You can see how much power/influence "Wall Street" has over the market. Institutional investors continue to buy BTC like crazy, leaving ETH and other altcoins behind in the dust. There are rumors that Solana, Litecoin, and XRP be getting their own spot ETFs soon. It's our only hope for the altcoins market to turn bullish again. No one will ever know when the next altcoin season will occur. I'd proceed with caution just in case.
