Türkiye and Serbia started the tournament very well as expected. They won their first four games without losing. They will play for the top spot, but the group stage game is not very important. What matters is getting good results in the next rounds. Serbia is already the favorite of the tournament and Türkiye has shown that they have a very good squad and what they can achieve. Alperen Şengün and Nikola Jokic are playing like they're in the NBA, they never slow down. They're giving it their all on the court.

Jokic vs. Baby Jokic. We'll be watching a great match. I think Alperen Şengün had a truly fantastic tournament. Despite his young age, he put in a remarkable performance. Of course, Serbia's players in other positions are also very good and are the natural favorites. Even if we lose against Serbia, we'll finish second in the next round. Finland could be our likely opponent; if we can win against them, we could be on the way to a medal.

Lithuania got very important win against Finland. We did what not many can do - we stopped Markkanen. Yeah, hescored 19 points, but it's not much for him. He didn't played good game, 6-17 FG's shows it. Interesting moment that for the first time in 10 years Lithuania didn't had Valanciunas in starting five.
Still, win that doesn't gives much joy. We lost our key player Jokubaitis who suffered knee injury - it looked really bad.

The destruction of the competition continues for my beloved German team. I mean sure, the quality of some teams is questionable to say the least, but beating the UK by 63 (!!) points really is a statement. 120 points in 40 minutes is actually crazy. I said to my friend before the game, everything under 30 points difference would be a disappointment. Well, guess I am happy now! 

Exepcted about 40 points difference, but damn, humiliation by 63 points and scoring 120 points. I guess it's biggest win in modern era Eurobasket, ife we don't digdeep into before WWII times.

Bogdan Bogdanovic will miss the remainder of the EuroBasket due to injury.
Serbia had defeated weaker opponents in the last two games, but these weren't the losses we expected. (I was expecting a landslide victory.)
Now, Bogdanovic's injury will negatively impact Serbia.
Jokic won't win the championship on his own. Basketball is a team sport. Jokic contributes a lot, but he's not enough. Serbia remains a top contender for the title, but it would be a major disappointment if another influential member of the team were injured.

He surely have that big contribution to the team and losing his presence for the Team Serbia is a big decrease.
While that doesn't end their journey without him and he should be back to Los Angeles Clippers soon for recovery and training.
This is what other teams in the NBA are trying to avoid, making their players play for tournaments like this to play for their country to avoid being injured.

Two excellent teams. I also watched Turkiye today against Estonia really a convincing win, great three point shooting and solid defense. Serbia won, but they seem a lot slower since Bogdanovic isn’t there. Vasilije Micic has been playing quite poorly, and it seems like he got injured if that’s the case, it will be a big setback for Serbia moving forward.

If they would score one more point, they would set a record of margin of victory, but so far they have repeated year 2003 record, where Montepaschi Siena beat KK Budućnost with +63 points difference (if we speak about more or less modern European basketball). Btw, look at most points per game record Guy earned 99 points in a single game Now that is a humiliation!

Greece played without Giannis and it makes this result not that much surprising. Without himg Greece is very mediacore team. Though, probably bookmakers didn't knew too that Giannis won't play, so, odds for Bosnia had to be huge.
Spain - Italy is main of game today's evenening. Even if Spain isn't that good as it used to be, still should be good.

Man, you're confusing Eurobasket and Euroleague. If we speak about Eurobasket records, this doesn't even goes into top 10 of biggest wins. But most of these wins were achieved 60 or 80 years ago when basketball was so much different than what we have now.

You’ve surely heard of Džanan Musa he’s not playing due to injury, and Bosnia and Herzegovina definitely miss him, but what they showed even without him was really excellent. I knew we were in for a very exciting championship, but i didn’t expect it to be this exciting

In Group A, Serbia and Turkey are in good form, relatively speaking, they are a much more successful team than Turkey. Serbia has many good players and they are playing well, if Serbia can maintain their performance, they will be in the top position in the group. I think Giannis only played for a couple of minutes ? or didn't play at all because this is the only reason I can see why Greece lost but they were already qualified further so it kinda make sense for them to slot down a bit and Bosnia took advantage of this and won.

I personally had high hopes today for France against Poland but it seems France is really having a very rough Euro so far and if they don't win tonight ....they can also miss qualifying further.

Even when already qualified, unless you have the first place guaranteed, I think it's never smart to take the foot of the gas and rest players in a tournament. You can still rest them if you are up big or something. If they miss out on 1st place the whole route to the final only gets harder actually, so I wouldn't recommend doing so. Also resting is kind of damaging structure, flow, momentum and even tram chemistry. Of course there are plenty of games to play but building team chemistry further is also very important.

The Spain-Italy match was a closely contested one. Italy failed to score for the first 7-8 minutes. At one point, the score was 13-0.
Fortunately, Italy scored late in the period, and the first period ended with Spain leading 18-10.
Diouf and Niang played very well for Italy. Niang's ankle injury nearly cost Italy the game.
Spain missed a basket that could have retaken the game and then committed an unsportsmanlike foul, costing them the game. Italy fought on, but it looked like Spain had been eliminated. The final score was 67-63.
