2026 NBA Season

Tonight it's Knicks vs. Celtics. It's a matchup reminiscent of the old Eastern Conference Finals. The Celtics aren't as good these days, but the name of the matchup is enough. It's kind of like Brunson vs. Brown in this game. I wish Tatum could come back sooner so we could watch that powerful Celtics team again. The games would be so much more exciting.

Now it's the Knicks that are creating momentum. They won 7 of their last 10 games and are on their 4th straight win.

But it can be a tough job to defeat the Boston Celtics as they will be playing them today at TD Garden. Despite being undermanned, the Celtics cannot be underestimated, and they have defeated strong teams like the Cavs (just recently) and the Pistons, too.

I think this will be an entertaining battle even without Tatum for the Celtics. Pritchard and Brown are doing great together, and they are showing how strong the bench of the Celtics too.

A lot of talk about Giannis wanting a trade today. No official reports from any of the usual suspects but a lot of social media buzz. They’re saying he is deleting social media posts and is clearly unhappy with the lack of winning. Everyone is taking the opportunity to say he wants to go to the Lakers, but I think he would fit in better with a team like the Warriors.

Giannis not happy because he is losing, but who is to blame for their team not having the resources to be able to build a competitive players, he needs to blame himself because of the drama he made in the past years, he is threatening to leave so the team needs to find a way to get players to make him happy, even taking his brother, even when he's only contribution is cheering for the team, the team already lost their chance to rebuild and it will not take years for them to recover and now you want to leave? after asking for too much.

The 76ers are currently beating the Wizards by a large margin. The final quarter is in progress, and the difference is 33 points. It's a fierce battle between the Celtics and the Knicks. The Knicks are the slight favorite, but the game is still on the line. Both teams can win. The Spurs-Grizzlies matchup is similarly competitive right now. NBA games are truly entertaining and enjoyable to watch.

The current record by Thunder is 20-1. That's just insane... I remember a this great start like 10 years ago or so by Warriors. It must be 21-0. I really wonder what kind of a regular season record Thunder will have in the end. 

I know it's too difficult to keep this up for a season long. Fatigue, injuries and so on... They finished last season 68-14. Let's see if they improve this. But the most important point is always what they do in playoffs of course.

They are about in the same level right now, so the record of the Warriors is within the reach of the Thunder. However, compare it to the era of the Warriors, I think that time the Warriors seems to be not keen in chasing the records. What I mean to say is that during that time, they are just enjoying their seasons and at the peak of the Curry-Thompson-Draymond era and they are just very happy to be in that kind of zone.

So for the Thunder, maybe the best advise is to just apply that kind of mentality. Just win games and have some fun. And if they have the record then good for them. If then they they could be in one of their best seasons to maybe win 69++ games.

SGA and OKC is dominating the NBA imo. last season’s success was amazing, and this year SGA is still averaging 32 points even though he barely plays in the fourth quarters...
Maybe people will roast me for saying this, but when his career is over, we might be mentioning his name next to guys like MJ, LeBron, Kobe and Curry.
That’s how good he is. right now the NBA is basically SGA and everybody else imo, and the same goes for OKC too.

It's too early to say though, if he can get at least 3 rings with this current roster or lead the Thunder in the next season then maybe we can have his name etch as on the best in this generation. So for me, he is good, but again my only complain is that he is getting a lot of calls and going into the free throws without contact.
Celtics vs Knicks are locked in battle right now, Celtics has the slight advantage with 6 point lead. Down to 5 minutes, but the Knicks still has the clutch player in Bronson so we will see. I'm not surprised if this goes on another cliff hanger game or going into overtime.

Not surprising at all. The Wizards aren’t a good team. They just upset the Bucks so they were probably riding that high, and since this was a back-to-back game, they’re not as hungry to win anymore.

So they went back to how they normally play...trash.

Yeah, very unfortunate to see how Brunson struggles in this game, he is one of the most clutch player and against their rival, he wasn't able to produce a game that the Knicks needed for him.

It looks like the Celtics though has gain some momentum in their last couple of games and have adjusted without Tatum and now they can go and play without any pressures so for sure we might see team beating a good team in their next games or so.

But I think this situation most likely not gonna happen. That trade package is so small compare to the value of Giannis and also for sure that Bucks won't trade Giannis out in their team.

If that trade would really happen they provably a match up nightmare in papers especially that both of them proves they can dominate on the floor. The question left is does Giannis and Luka will blend together since if they also create conflict due to performance they provide and who hold the ball much on their team I guess they will start to have a problem with that.

That's why I think its more better for Lakers to stick with current duo they have. Since we have seen Luka and Reaves already winning lots of games when they are playing together.

Giannis I don’t really know why he wouldn’t be happy, it’s obvious the team is not playing very well, some years ago who was very good and playing well he was just spectacular and phenomenal, but I can’t really understand why the Bucks team are playing very badly, sometimes you never can tell it might just be that the age is setting in and they obviously need some new players.

Nobody will be happy when loosing games, the team just lacks talent and I don’t know if I should be saying it’s a squad depth challenge, I think the club needs to rebuild the team again, they should start looking to buy more talent into the team that would be the only solution right now and I think the age thing is also getting into Giannis which is why he can’t do it alone, right now they need a player like Wembanyama.

OKC is truly performing better than they did even when Kevin Durant was on the team back in the day.
SGA is a legend, but at the same time, many young players are doing a perfect job on defense, kind of like Alex Caruso. They have 21 Wins and 1 Loss. The winning streak is 13 atm. Things are getting tougher at this point. I'm sure that the opposing teams will now fight extra hard to be the one that breaks this streak

Yup, it's nice to watch as the game outcome is not easy to predict even heavy favorites experienced upset, aside from that 3 games another one between OKC and Warriors though GSW manage to rally back but they can't hold long as SGA lead OKC and complete the comeback win affter Warriors managed to take it half way on the last quarter.

OKC's system works well, as each individual players provides help with the rotation, and how they are sharing the ball really gives their opponents tough time to play defense, though limiting SGA might work but not a guarantee that you'll upset them as there are other young guns that may lift and carry the team to stay up then win the game.

SGA is the embodiment of foul trouble so it’s very hard to put him on that tight spot while he knew everything about the art of fouling.

The best way to beat them is to not focus on SGA instead just don’t give him the opportunity to draw foul since that’s his main weapon to score and tilt the defender.

Are they planning to lose at least once, or nah? Something tells me they won't because if you look at their schedule, you can see that at least in December, there are no games in which their opponents could offer them any real competition. As for the games against the Spurs at the end of December, I doubt it because the Spurs are very dependent on Wemby.

Isaiah Hartenstein hasn’t even come back from injury yet. When he does, that will make them even stronger. And in their win against the Warriors, Dort and Caruso didn’t play, so imagine if they were complete, the Warriors wouldn’t have been able to recover in the 3rd quarter.

Shai is currently the best player right now because he’s the one carrying this team on a historic run. And as they continue, I can only imagine how good they’ll be this season.

I honestly believe they’re going to break the Warriors’ record.
