Youth definitely favors the regular season when it comes to winning.  Old guys can't play 82 games and stay healthy anymore.  I'll admit I thought lack of experience would keep OKC from winning last year, but somehow they pulled it off.  Looking at their team, I still don't know how they manage to have so much success, but they do.  Until the refs start being a little more fair with the whistle, SGA is going to have great seasons.  He reminds me a lot of James Harden on the Rockets.  Not a great player, but someone who found a loophole and is exploiting it to the max.

There’s a good chance they’ll break that Warriors record. With the way OKC is playing right now, they’re just steamrolling teams, like it doesn’t even take effort for them to win. If there’s a betting line for that, I’d take it without thinking twice. I’m just hoping no major injury hits their main guys, and remember Jalen Williams is still out… imagine how much better they’ll look once he’s back and fully healthy.

Looking to how they play the game, if that's part of their goal I guess without major injuries from the core players it's very possible that they can achieved that record, either break or tie but the chance is not by far, and I like the confidence that they are showing from each other, whoever inside the court playing also provides same intensity giving a good rest for the core starting players, at the ending quarter they are pushing since they've got enough time to be well rested.

Thisss. Someone finally saying it. His last game he had 23 points and out of those 23 points, 10 were FTs. Not taking the fact that he's a great player away, but his whistle has just been different. Can't imagine Steph getting SGA's whistle, he'll probably average 40 points per game. The OKC are just a young core which is great. Jdub is still yet to feature this season which is a plus for them when they get to the playoffs.

Victor Wembanyama is injured. He won't be able to play for a few weeks. Now we have the chance to see what the San Antonio Spurs can do without him. It was the right decision for the Spurs not to play him during the regular season before he was fully recovered. They can't afford to lose him for an extended period. We'll see just how dependent the Spurs are on their superstar during the regular season. Meanwhile, players who haven't been getting much playing time will have the opportunity to prove themselves.

This must be worrying for Spurs. As far as I can see he has picked up a calf injury. He is expected to be out until December 2. Of course he will miss at least 6 games in this time period.

The reason why I said they must be worried is his injury history. He was out for the half of the regular season last time. If a similar thing happens to him again then it is very difficult for Spurs to make it to playoffs.

No, they're probably making history for 81-1, just joking but it's not impossible how this team is stack with talents.They're the team that doesn't give easy play with their opponents they do have that defensive capacity. Imagine they're playing that way without Jaylen Williams, how much more with a guy that averaging 20 a night can do if he's in the court.

Barring all injuries to their core players, I think they can do it. But we can't say that for certain, again there could be something that will break their rhythm even if the core team is there. Very hard to be consistent, it's not just the physical but the mental aspects of the games as well.

Teams are going to study you and maybe found a loophole that they can exploit. Or just simply waking up and having a bad day might break their momentum. So we will see at least before the All-Star break on how good the Thunder is in chasing that record.

Yesterday was Paul George season debut. He played well and they won, eventhough he only played 20 minutes.
Game was close and I thought the 76ers were going to lose because they were down big in the early quarters, but they managed to come back.

It looks like today is also LeBron James season debut. I hope they win too, just like Paul George season debut. It’s nice that even after so many seasons we still get to see these guys play. Stephen Curry, Westbrook, Durant, Paul George, Chris Paul… who else am I missing?

I've thought about this before. I could say yes if Jalen Williams comes back. A 73–9 record is a hard record to beat, but they seem to be better compared to last year, and Williams hasn't been back yet. So what more if he comes back? They will have another consistent scorer. As of now, beating the 73–9 record is still possible. As long as SGA doesn't get any injury, I think they can. They are the only team I see right now that can possibly break that record.

Shai a legend? What did he achieved already for him to be called a legend? Did he scored 40K points like Lebron did? Did he won 6 titles and undefeated in Finals like Jordan did? Yes, he's already an all-star player, but in order to become a legend, you need to do something that no player has ever done, and for SGA, he's still WAY, WAY far from becoming one.

Anyway with how the Thunder are playing right now, they're on their way to win 75 games, but I don't think that it's their main priority right now. Let's not forget that the 73-win Warriors didn't won a title in that season, so there's a chance that the Thunder might experience the same as well. If they will focus on breaking that record, there's a chance that they might feel exhausted coming to the playoffs, and instead of having fresh legs, they might get tired way easier because they played throughout the regular season even though they don't need to anymore.

Overall, the Thunder are on their way to become a back-to-back champion. I just hope that injuries will not hinder it at all.

It was a close game between the 76ers and the Clippers Maxey again with a huge game with 39 points.

Harden wasn’t happy, but Maxey handed his former teammates a loss, probably his mentor too. It was really fun watching the Sixers, especially when Maxey is hitting his shots. When he’s rolling, everyone else seems to play better too.

The Pistons, continuing their massive run beating the Hawks, now they are in a 10 game winning streak, 12-2 leading the East. Who would have thought that the Pistons is going to be the number 1 seed in the East?

I didn’t expect it either. I’m not even watching their games, but their record right now is really impressive. With that kind of winning streak, I thought it would end already since the Hawks are also playing well, but they kept pushing and continued it. They just need to keep that consistency, especially when the playoffs come.

I disagree, if they do, which I think they won't, it will be very close and won't be easy to break that, the reason why I think they won't is because it is not an easy task to go that many games "steamrolling" their opponents, they are bound to get tired, and any injury would make it impossible. Imagine if SGA just misses few games, that alone would put them in danger of not be able to do it.

Those records are hard to break and gets broken once in 20 years for a reason, there have been better teams before that failed to break it, because you can't have that type of win that easily, it's a hard one. I personally can see how this could be a good issue with time, and should not be worried about it at all.

No, it was probably him making fun of Desmond Bane considering people are mocking him as T-REX with his weird arm length. Well, not fun of this kind of mockery but Steph was out there trying to be funny of course, but they definitely lost that one plus Butler with that last minute frustrations.

I thought the Lakers are gonna lose it as they are shooting so bad in the 1st quarter, and Keyonte George can't miss.
LeBron was noticeably becomes slower. He's in a minute restriction but it seems like father time is really catching up against him. He can however still attract defenders when has the ball and could still make a good play. Almost every single assist he made on the game was a highlight reel worthy. Especially the buzzer beater assist to Gabe and a couple of quick passes to Ayton threading it through multiple defenders.

The Lakers were not just playing to win in the 2nd half, but they are enjoying the game, the company, and their chemistry. All smiles and laugh as they ballooned the lead to 20+ in the 4th after being down 13 in the 1st half.

Bronny seems like a player with strong connections to me. I don't think the Los Angeles Lakers have the talent to be on the roster.

It's good to see Lebron back, and I never thought that even at season 23, he can still score double digits and so his streak continues up to this new season. And he has that string of 4 consecutive assists and everyone was happy. Luka again giving his all in this game and there was a scare though when he drove to the basket and landed awkwardly. But he was not injured at all. Luka had another double double too as he lead the Lakers. It's fun to see this guy are just enjoying the game and probably that's the reason why they win against the Jazz. Even though the Jazz took a lead in the first quarter, the Lakers didn't panic and again, just let the game come to them. And when Lebron started to score, then they got back their confidence.

LeBron returning to the Lakers is certainly going to change the business, particularly the defensive aspect of it, yet even without him Utah appeared so inconsistent that it could only hold up during four quarters. The initial push evaporated soon as the Lakers got tight in the third. In the case of Bronny, he is still settling in and he is yet to make a significant splash but it is also factual that his position in the roster is highly debated. It could be connections, long-term potential or it could be as simple as the Lakers betting on his development and time will tell. He is more a project than a contributor at least in the meantime as the team continues to largely rely on LeBron to remain competitive.
