actually if we keep hold of the coins that we have bought when the price is high and keep it until the price goes up again it will never experience a loss, but only our portfolio value decreases very significantly and we can still reduce losses by buying the coins back in when the price is low, so the value of our portfolio will not go down quite large.

Basically, panic is not a good thing. Nothing good usually comes out of panic in most cases. We tend to become less smarter when in panic mode. We can't think properly and we usually end up making the wrong decisions. But of course, panicking is a normal reaction in negative situations. Which is why we should train ourselves to be stronger mentally, psychologically, and emotionally.
