Exchanges to be careful about IEO listing.

Most shoddy exchanges don't look at the quality of the projects before the listing, but they are more interested in the fee charge and the new users the IEO will drive to their exchange.

In some cases, there are several projects that are "fooled" by an exchange (IDAX PRO in the case of Crypto Market Ads).

there are also exchange those who "fake" the number of tokens sold (DCoin in the case of the MinedBlock Project).

however, both the IEO and ICO certainly have advantages and disadvantages. So, Deep Research about project that is the target of our investment should be done with more observance.

This tarnished our decision making. We have launched our IEO today on P2Pb2b. As an exchange we found their due diligence process to be much higher in standards in comparison to such exchanges as Dcoin. But still we entrust that as a regulated space there's no such thing as a "scammy" exchange?!

My method is quite simple in choosing an exchange to join the IEO program. My criteria for choosing an exchange is that the exchange must have a large volume besides the responsibility and security of the exchange. by relying on the criteria for me it was enough to say that the exchange was feasible to be used as a means of joining the IEO.

Profit is all that exchange wants, no body care about how to save investor by scamer. in this fact exchange have to be trusting by people who have money to investing, no body care about exchange profit when become getting lose to investor. and so we must also to be careful for our own good.

I don't know exactly how the IEO agreement was carried out by both parties (projects and exchanges).
If my analysis is correct that the exchange party acts as an escrow and releases investor funds to the project party after reaching the trading phase (according to the roadmap) or other phase at a safe point, so I think that is good.

that's true and the fact so many small exchange sites are listing crap ICOs. The only way to do the best for us to avoid the suspicious and unpopular exchange site because so many icos were listed on the are totally scam or not having a strong team.

Currently IEO's are becoming pupular and providing a more reliable option for new projects than ICO's. Previously a lot of new projects started by raising funds via their ICO sites and because of unregulated nature of this avenue, a lot of scammers used the medium to swindle a lot of victims.

Now the story has changed as it only serious projects that would want to go through IEO's, we no longer would hold only the project body responsible for any IEO scam but the exchange, so any exchange that values its reputation and users should do a proper scrutiny about any project before accepting their IEO sales. For instance if an exchange fails multiple times with their IEO, it will drive attention away from them, that is why Binance still draws a lot of attentions because it has recorded more successful and profitable IEO's.

I heard idax exchange scammed over 5 different projects off their IEO funds .. I think this form of funds raiser is dead on arrival

Yes I heard about how cruel idax exchange has been to many IEO projects and even latoken,these exchanges should be on watch before they keep scamming other upcoming projects as well

Some exchanges do not care about reputation. They just keep listing and doing more IEOs without any scrutiny. The fact of the matter is that those exchanges are concerned with the amount of money they take than thinking about the quality of the project they are about doing the IEO for.

Good exchanges are very careful about their reputation. Because a good IEO can improve the exchange's reputation but a bad project can harm too. I remembered about the first IEO project on Bittrex! Though later Bittrex rejected that project, but still I couldn't push myself to join in Bittrex IEO, I mean I don't have courage about Bittrex because of that bad project that got accepted by the Bittrex IEO! Most of the exchanges IEO are becoming failed or they are showing the false raise. Recently IDA, Dcoin did it. So, not only exchange, every crypto investors should be careful about low-class exchange IEO, personally, I like to avoid them!
