Currently IEO's are becoming pupular and providing a more reliable option for new projects than ICO's. Previously a lot of new projects started by raising funds via their ICO sites and because of unregulated nature of this avenue, a lot of scammers used the medium to swindle a lot of victims.

Now the story has changed as it only serious projects that would want to go through IEO's, we no longer would hold only the project body responsible for any IEO scam but the exchange, so any exchange that values its reputation and users should do a proper scrutiny about any project before accepting their IEO sales. For instance if an exchange fails multiple times with their IEO, it will drive attention away from them, that is why Binance still draws a lot of attentions because it has recorded more successful and profitable IEO's.

However, this kind of IEO will also affect the exchange, later it will become a problem if too many coins / tokens are listed on the exchange so that at certain points there may be several coins that have a volume below the average. This thing will create these markets become a junk someday.

This is good advice because not all IEOs will be hosted by reputable exchanges that have a track record of being reliable or a decent success rate so make sure you focus on the major launchpads such as Tokinex, Binance, Liquid, OKex, Houbi, and KuCoin and research each one

but BINANCE rarely opens projects for the IEO, maybe because the requirements are quite strict.
but I really like the concept of the IEO from the ICO, because I think it's safer and avoid fraud

They should really strict about accepting such IEO projects. Considering that Binance is one lf reputable exchange, they shouldn't put their reputation at risks. As you know, scammers are really trying hard to enter IEO now. There is still fund raising behind this project and we could still fall for the fraud. Exchanges should really be cautious selecting IEO. Now it is hard for a particular coin to start listing on an exchange.

It is a matter of time before we start to differentiate between real exchanges that are capable of holding IEO from those hungry exchange platform that are merely fundraising platform with sole interest of making quick money by listing project for IEO. I will not mention names but If you are investor and you are very wise, by now you will know some of these exchanges I am refering to. Some of them have numbers of tokens running crowdsales higher than the number of crypto listed and trading on their platform. Not to talk of many dead projects that they have refuse to delist.

IEO contributes to investors feel more secure about what they invest. But all have risks. Do you know projects like Merculet (MVP). There are many guarantees but in the end it is still a dead project. Team Dev has left the project when he has listed major exchanges.

So there is nothing to guarantee 100% you will be safe. The IEO, too, projects are carefully selected but do not mean it can live forever.

Presently the only exchange I would stay away from is idex and systemkoin because they have bad examples of worse listing ,dumpis and of cos failed fundraising through IEO ,best exchanges for IEO are binance ,okex huobi ,bitforex ,idax ,latoken

I think other than top exchange like Binance and bittrex don't do any much deeper investigation before listing any IEO, if so, this can turn investor into huge loss.

IEO steps are here to restore investor confidence after ICO played with them. now binance collaboration and the IEO are a hard slap for ICO project actors who have deceived many people. now they must be faced with the seriousness of the IEO in making a good and quality project.

After the first Bittorent IEO by Binance exchange, the conditions are changed 180 degrees on the ICO planned projects. It is more cost friendly to get listed by the same exchange that can manage the token sale for the team. Small exchanges are not reliable like big ones.
you right sir, IEO is more friendly for us and the exchange who lauch that IEO is always list that coin.
IEO is the best choose for know, we know ICO is not safe and we must becareful when we look a good ICO.
i just hope no scam again in ICO, i miss ICO in 2017.

now IEO is very clear for us to recognize, select IEO that has been registered on popular websites such as binance, okex, latoken, and exmarket to avoid fraud. investors are very interested in the IEO program. all turned to IEO, including me.

The main thing that this will not engage investors.Although I notice a lot of IEO held for example on the stock exchange ,,latoken,, and they are not profitable and pretty not honest with the participants of the bounty. So you do not need to completely turn off your head when investing.

Exchanges should be able to identify a fraud project before it get listed on their IEO.
Their reputation will be ruined if they failed to avoid scams and frauds, even traders will leave them.
good exchange like binance must be have a certain way to verify the legality of the project.

I am sure they will taking care to select the right project to be list on the IEO. They will make sure the member will not get scam by the projects, and I think the project needs to pay some amount if they want to be list on the exchange, so the team doesn't scam the members. I think that it is necessary to prevent scamming because that will be related to their reputation too.

It is very easy actually but inexperienced teams seems to not know about this.

Just check the real volume of the exchange which will make ieo. Not the shit on cmc. There are plenty of websites show real volume. And choose on of the good ones, not the fake ones.

Exchanges are the ones to be careful which IEO projects they want to list, once the IEO project turn scammed it will tarnish the image of the exchange and devs should be careful too ,not all exchanges are good for your IEO project e.g idax

Well, this is a new type of scam. Soon they will compile a list of real stock exchanges that do not like mochinations. And there will be leafing coins. I think IDAX became the first example. But you understand that this exchange was not very bad. It is not clear why they went to such a step.

In any case, IEO is a more promising investment. Scammers are not interested in their coin or token developing. Really serious projects pay a lot of money for IEO.
yes IEO became more a promising investment,  minimizing individual scammers from coming into the cryptocurrency space but the the exchanges themselves became the scammers.  Read the scam accusation around IDAx and get the clear picture

I stand with this, the risk is more on the exchanges although they can make money on it, but if a certain project is a scam and they host it, that would lead to a possible destruction of their reputation and their profitable operation will be affected. If we trust the exchange and they have more to loss, then we should be more aggressive in investing in IEO as most probably more investors are trusting that exchange and the value when launch could rise easily.

One good example is BINANCE IEO.

I think there is a turn around now mate. Currently the projects needs to be careful of the project that they want to list on now as some exchanges has been reported of scam. And all this new exchanges coming up can't be trusted in any way.

I think you don't need to worry about that. Because the current famous exchanges like Binance and Huobi have to carefully evaluate the quality of IEO projects on their exchanges. So there will never be a case of an IEO scam on those famous exchanges. I think the IEO on the famous exchanges is a very safe and profitable investment for investors.
