Being a chosen country as a host for FIBA World Cup does have due process to be able to be selected. Participating countries submit their own bid then it now depends on the FIBA Central Board to make the decision.
That is the big reason why TEAM USA playing here in the country on its FIBA group is considered once a lifetime as it might take a decade before this can happen again and that is even not sure. If ever we might see PH hosting a FIBA again, it might not be TEAM USA anymore that is bound to play here but another team instead.

That's too immature because it's already an opportunity for Filipino players as well as basketball lovers to witness their favorite players playin along with their favorite Filipino team. We should appreciate this once-in-a-lifetime experience than claiming false accusations. They could have done it in other countries but the Philippines has been a lucky choice so we should appreciate it.
There are really people who do really love to make out some assumptions which arent that possibly true or something thats no sense.If they are making those prices then those are well planned
and it might be looking that expensive but those are just understandable because there are spots on a venue which you could really make yourself that in near with those basketball idols
and this is why it is really that just right that they would really be costing more money.At least we do have the options and you arent that forced to go if you dont have
money then you do just simply shut up.
