i'm running it every 6 hours for 2 hours. it was in sync last time i checked.

it's on block 0 and refusing anything . wont budge from 0

the debug.log was effing huge so i wiped it before last restart it.
now it doesnt show anything i can tell as useful.
pah.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

There is no forking in the chain right now (except for the microforking that decides best chain but thats how blockchain works) all exchanges and the 6 major nodes that people keep me updated on are all on the same block. the Bootstrap in the OP is updated as of may 27th and is about 3k blocks behind the current block. it works fine if you replace it with that.

well i managed to find one lol. i had different hashes than the explorer..
i had used the chain i downloaded from your link a week ago (or whenever) then continued on.
possibly it didnt finish using yr chain .. but this was my last block

mine
getblockhash 687344
43fd37b2cc2fd7f00e6975a8aa4e25341ecd36bcd481e2cff4fc1c93524df30c

explorer
http://blockexperts.com/ecc/height/687344
e730002e599f20516e51c94e0779b7e532a5d1b71312c04923e559615bedde09

checking back further i only went back to block 687300
e730002e599f20516e51c94e0779b7e532a5d1b71312c04923e559615bedde09

vs explorer
fec750af4785e09046d419c29b5d00d535feb7511ab570fb0db4ed4a6de5f578

///
then i did a getpeerinfo

  {
        "addr" : "67.187.80.35:51323",
        "services" : "00000001",
        "lastsend" : 1433304108,

it must be an earlier version from you. i'll update it.

edit.
oh i remember why i havent updated it.
my home internet is shit, and i'd have to download the new chain, then re-upload it to the server.

a dropbox would be easier Smiley
can get a direct link, and also running dropbox on a server is easy.

hmm, there is apparenlty a mega command line thing, but i havent tried it.
i'm just going to limit the connections atm cos i dont have much spare time.

yeah. linux wallets arent provided, they have to be compiled by the person that wants to use them. generally my stance on linux is if you dont know how to compile a wallet in it then you shouldnt be using that operating system for crypto. im kind of a linux elitist like that. however i will provide ubuntu wallets on request

lol that was my problem .
there s a link on the OP to a copy of the blockchain. if you start off that it apparently will be past that block.

i however didnt go that route,
instead changing the ECCoin.conf

connect=129.21.141.135
connect=188.165.82.227

and commenting my
# addnode=x.x.x.x

its 100% easier to  get the chain from the OP. if you dont have 2.4.4 you wont be able to stake either, so check that too.
