Running ECCoin:2.4.7.4 protocol:60028 for OSX directly from Spain...looking good! I can see some big changes in the debug.log, better information. Nice work Griffith!

Griffith I have a little problem. two weeks ago my eccoin wallet crashes because the debug log of it - and another wallet got to big and I run out of space on the small SSD on this system.
Today I tried to catch up with a new compile wallet (recent source). but my blocks does not move. it sticks to block 1009217,
debug.log connected 129.21.131.181:19118 send version message: version 60028, blocks=1009217, received block 32dfbd41caf7ef69070f, prevHash=9a33802f9... ProcessBlock: ORPHAN BLOCK with hash = 32dfbd41caf7ef69070f,... ...and a loooots of orphan after that.
Better idea than to sync from the scratch?

I had the same problem with version 2.4.7.3. I needed to sync from scratch to resolve it. Now everything is running smoothly

Yes there is, Kiklo's Premium Blockchain Snapshot Service Use my ECCoin Snapshot , Fastest way to Sync. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1378653.msg15813425#msg15813425Last snapshot was on 9-18-2016 , if you can wait a few hours, I will update it to today's date , so it will be almost instantaneous. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) FYI: After updating ECC now my block # and the block explorer are not the same. Will be holding off on updating the snapshot for now ,but the 9-18-2016 one is good.

version 2.4.7.3? there shouldnt be any problem with it. that would be the correct version until i release the next one. which will probably be 2.4.7.5 skipping a version because i was using it for experimental stuff and found it was mostly unstable

Question , what is the current block height? I am seeing block # 1031717 , but the block explorer is only showing #1031611 . And I am only seeing 2 IPs, 88.0.105.170 & 167.114.249.196 and "startingheight" : -1, on both of them. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

meanwhile I resynced using your lastest source from 24.oct The wallet was synced for short a moment and I did a repairwallet because of missing coins (which did not reappeared). Afterwards the wallet could not connect again (connection refused).

The BE is now correct. i will be putting out the 2.4.7.5 wallet tonight. it should fix any issues anyone is having with syncing
it would seem it fixed itself once additional nodes came online and the chain resolved its own issues

wallet download links updated to 2.4.7.5 on the OP
Realized today that everything my wallet had minted since 10/23/2016 didn't show up in the BE. Downloaded the new wallet. Downloaded kiklo's blockchain from 9/18/2016. Waited 4 hours for the wallet to synch. Enabled minting, and the latest transactions all show green checkmarks in the Transaction List, but also show e.g. (Offline) 50 Confirmations. They also don't show in the BE. Guessing we're forked again?

I started over (again) after I posted with kiklo's blockchain from 9/18/2016 and also removed the conf file so the wallet could find its own nodes. Now I have no connections at all. Current number of blocks shows as 1005426, Estimated total blocks as 1030250. Getpeerinfo returns nothing. The debug.log is full of: Flushed 1 addresses to peers.dat 4 ms Flushed 1 addresses to peers.dat 4 ms Flushed 1 addresses to peers.dat 4 ms Flushed 1 addresses to peers.dat 4 ms Flushed 1 addresses to peers.dat 4 ms

Appears to have been resolved by adding 88.0.105.170, 129.21.131.213, and 188.97.243.33 as nodes (the peers that appear in the BE "Peers" tab) and syncing up for a 3rd time.

does this mean you are synced and on the correct chain now?

does this mean you are synced and on the correct chain now? Yes. Hopefully those nodes will help others who may be having problems though. When I was trying and failing to get on the right chain yesterday, the only peer was 88.0.105.170 according to getpeerinfo. At a guess, that was on the wrong chain and was causing the problem. Now appears to be on the correct chain.

The wallet stopped to sync with the network. A few months all was well, and three weeks ago, have been delayed. This is a problem of the developers or what? There are wallets and other cryptocurrencies. They work fine. What happened to the wallet of the cryptocurrency?
