Good to see a new exchange Not sure what your point is here? If the coin is worth 1 Satoshi then the wall should be taken out. If it's not worth 1 Satoshi then it won't. It's simple price discovery.

Your best shot is with https://novaexchange.com/addcoin/They have BTC / LTC /Doge Trading pairs and all 3 are reported to coin marketcap. Cheaper if you free vote and buy Npoints to vote instead of paying .4 BTC to be added. Only takes 250 votes to get added. CoinExchange.io is a Great Exchange, but at the present Only their BTC Markets are being reported to CoinMarketcap. If the markets are not reported , trading volume is always extremely low in non-reported markets. ECC Price is not high enough to maintain a BTC only Market. ECC needs an LTC & Doge Market that are reported to CMK, if you want this coin to have any trading volume.

There is only a satoshi market on coinexchange for ECC. if the wall doesnt move or get heavily reduced after the next feature release in the middle of may, then i will ask them about additional markets. although i am confident that the storage features coming up will be promising

Hey, so i got a few PMs about it. and i looked over the code. there is a small bug with 2.4.7.6 that causes the wallet to sometimes not save the chain properly when it closes which makes you need to resync when the wallet is re-opened. it doesnt always happen but when it does it is super annoying. if you are on 2.4.7.6 then please upgrade to 2.4.7.7 (links are in the OP and updated on the website). 2.4.7.7 fixes the bug. if you have version 2.4.7.6 then you will need to delete the following folders from the app data folder. - metachain - txleveldb - database and the following files: - blk0001.dat and then download the new wallet from the post and sync from there. you should be fine. 2.4.7.7 links Windows 32BitWindows 64BitLinux 32BitLinux 64Bitif you have version 2.4.7.5 and wish to upgrade to 2.4.7.7 then all you need to do is download the wallet and run the upgrade process which starts automatically when it first runs (can take up to 10 min)

its not that they arent being reported. its that they dont exist. There is only a satoshi market on coinexchange for ECC. Let me clarify, even if they did exist CoinExchange.io does not currently report any markets except BTC. If you look here : http://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/coinexchange/Only BTC pairings are listed, No LTC, Doge, ETH or ETC pairing are being updated, even thru they have markets for all of those.

Something like this would be useful: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=35214.20I have tons of entries with non-confirmed stakes. EDIT: Doing a new wallet to check the savings in my case from the original wallet file. RESULTS = 4MB save after rescanning the blockchain with a new wallet ( rescanning with current wallet does not persist across wallet restarts-> there is a problem somewhere...).

no. it just has no peers atm. it happens occasionally with that service. i have messaged them about it in the past, they said its a known firewall issue on their part but it doesnt look like they have fixed it yet

development is going more or less right on schedule. by the end of the day i should have a working file sharing test going assuming i didn't mess up the P2P messaging too bad. I did develop it on a separate network because the current ECC clients are missing a lot of code and it was faster to make a new chain for testing instead of waiting for enough people to update. so a demo (or demo video) should be out by wednesday night and then some announcements about getting it into the ECC blockchain itself will follow.
for fees for doing file stuff, i was thinking of using the same KB fee system as it would be to send a transaction (larger file larger fee just like larger transaction larger fee). thoughts on that?

If you recording the data on the blockchain, then yes... incentive that. Otherwise the cost should be somehow related to the amount of changes (metadata) and not directly involved with the data volume.

Here are some others that are doing the file storage. They also talk about pricing so maybe that can be a good indicator. That said, many blockchain-like solutions designed just to store data were developed recently. https://storj.io/ seems to be famous and well developed. http://filecoin.io/ is another such solution which is yet to materialize.

I don't have as much experience as many incredible members here, but I'm guessing that I am correct in asserting that purchasing ECC right now at only 0.00000001 BTC and holding for a very short time until ECC is added to a few more exchanges is a good move.
The reason I assume such is that the price increased almost immediately when it was added to coinexchange.io because all newbie traders just love purchasing the new coin on the block (the block here being the exchange).
What are your thought guys?
