Curvature of the earth exists because earth is not a spinning ball. Earth is a rotating planet in space, not a spinning ball. It revolves around the sun which is another globular object.



EDIT: Regarding Mt. Rainier. IF Rainier is truly 149 miles away, and IF it truly is a picture of Rainier, then the picture is simply a reflection on the underside of the clouds, of the reflection of Rainier on the water.

I've looked at a few flat-earther videos on youtube, and I have come to the conclusion that 100% of those people are very deeply religious.
I think they have a strong almost desperate desire to believe in a flat earth because it makes whatever "god" they believe in more plausible in their eyes.

You've confused 2 different things.
1. Geocentric/geodetic coordinate system simply means using the geometric center or the center of mass of the earth as a reference for measuring. It also explicitly requires the earth to be spheroid and gravity to be real, it's in the basic assumptions of the math.
2. The 'geocentric model' of the universe is a debunked ancient hypothesis of all extraterrestrial objects orbiting the earth.

They have to take empirical measurements with this bullshit system and the only way it works is with a geocentric earth.
