a very ridiculous theory and up to now still in debate if the earth is flat where there is day and night, sea water tide and low tide continue north and south poles

Haha the irony of a person who believes in fairy tales, telling another fairy tale believer he is backwards is pretty fucking funny!

i tend to agree that flat-earth enthusiasts' arguments are - not always - but often tainted or driven by religious beliefs rather than tangible facts / evidence.

British mission to giant A-68 berg approved "UK scientists will lead an international expedition to the huge new iceberg that recently calved in the Antarctic. A-68, which covers an area of almost 6,000 sq km, broke away in July. Researchers are keen to investigate the seafloor uncovered by the trillion-tonne block of ice. Previous such ventures have discovered new species. The British Antarctic Survey has won funding to visit the berg and its calving zone in February next year. It will use the Royal Research Ship James Clark Ross." http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-41553687I was hoping they would send Boaty McBoatface

There is no point in explaining to flat earther that Earth is not flat. Even if you show them all evidence and proofs they will ask you for more proofs, and when you show them more proofs they will ask for more proofs.

^^^ An inner world beneath us and the Earth being flat and motionless are not mutually exclusive, that graphic is a joke though.

Take a look at the disk of the sun, no matter the size or distance. Select a point - point A - on the disk of the sun. The sun's rays don't simply shoot out from point A in one direction. Rather, they shoot out from point A in multitudes of directions at almost exactly the same time. Now, select another point on the disk of the sun - point B. The sun's rays shoot out from point B in multitudes of directions at almost exactly the same time, just like they do in point A. Some of the rays from point B are parallel to some of the rays from point A. Others are not parallel. The sun has countless numbers of points like point A and point B. Some of the sun's rays shoot out from all these points parallel to each other; some not parallel. At any distance from the sun - 93 million miles for GE, or just a few thousand for FE - the rays interact according to Bernoulli's Principle. Bernoulli's Principle causes some of the rays that are nearly parallel to become parallel. When these rays strike the atmosphere, the atmosphere breaks them up so that some of them become scattered, while others remain parallel, and still others that weren't parallel before the scattering, DO become parallel. Even if the sun were as close as the FE people suggest, the atmosphere and Bernoulli's Principle would still scatter some of the rays while causing others to be parallel. The point is, the idea of parallel or scattered sun's rays can't assist in proving or disproving FE or GE... at least not in the ways that FE people use the idea.

Unlike NASA or those that claim gravity causes you to stick to the egg while not having it go over easy due its tilt, I don't have any issues providing un-doctored actual photographs of a flat and motionless earth.

Unlike FE jokers - who want to change the name of gravity to density - people maintain the simple word "gravity" for the "stuff" or "processes" that make things fall, or hold things down on the earth. You are a very grave person. And your gravity is a dense form of gravity. It's called semantics.

If you look at ship while floating away from you you could clearly see that earth is curved because it seems like the ship is sinking..
