GMC! pool is back up with NOMP as it's stratum layer. As requested, there is now a stratum port for guys with big rigs. It doesn't currently show on the pool's 'getting started' page (it will soon) but it does work.


Regular stratum is stratum+tcp://gmc.cryptocloudhosting.org:3333 vardiff starting at diff 8

high power is stratum+tcp://gmc.cryptocloudhosting.org:3356 starting at diff 256

On my own little rig, I have run into some issues with the dashboard showing maybe 60 percent of what cgminer reports, but the logs and the pool stats and admin pages are reporting pretty close to right. This is also quite preliminary. Please, let me know what happens with stats, connection issues, anything out of the ordinary (even if it's good)

edit - just noticed difficulty has stayed at 256 - bfgminer reports 'using work with lower difficulty than device supports' frequently.

That port is set with 256 as the bottom. I can make it lower, or even add an intermediate. I don't have any big rigs to play with, so I'm more than open to suggestions here The main port is diff 8 vardiff. Basically, I was trying to make a port that started at a high diff for you guys with big rigs, but I'm not sure what "high diff" should BE for GMC

I have updated the block explorer to the latest version of Iquidus explorer, and lo and behold, the Market page is now working! I still have no idea what I did wrong in the first place, but it's fixed now

However, in the "BTC Price" header it's still displaying zeroes. Anyone have a clue on this?

Last I heard, and this was two days ago, Ritchie had not replied to our latest request. I have also been talking with Cryptsy's people, and while they promised nothing, they are looking at us favorably. Meanwhile, the new kid in town, Cryptopia, is a rather nice exchange, and of course Poloniex has done very well by us.

We've been just too busy lately. As for the game, we haven't set some firm deadlines except to ourselves: have its first release out till the end of august. We're lil bit ahead of that actually and we're already testing it and fixing some minor glithes for two days now. The emphasis is on platform and betting layer (GameCredits in-game functionality) of course but we'd like the game to look as good as possible given the circumstances it's done within a two month frame by a single game dev.

http://gamecredits.net/  click on "showcase", and click on Turbocharged. The trailer is made from in game play. Same page also shows the other games we're workin on, but they are nowhere near as close to release as TurboCharged

Just an update on the forum

One, we'd like to see more of you lovely people over there, and I've resolved most of the craziness in my life to the point that I'll be able to be active there myself.

Two, I had to alter the policy for new people as we've had multiple spam attacks over the last couple of days. Between Shavers and I, we've removed four bogus users and over 100 bullshit posts with links to everything from steam accounts to fetanyl. Very annoying, and counterproductive. So I've change the newly registered user category to only allow posts in the General forum. The good part of this is that I can kill spam in one place. The bad side is that I'm not 100% sure I upgraded every real account's permissions, so if you're there and can't post in the normal threads, let me or any other staff member know. Post it in "chit-chat" for the fastest results, or PM me. I'll fix it quickly.

For new users, I know most of you here by screen name, and if you use a different one, just PM me with your BCT screen name and I'll upgrade you immediately. Or just post something in chit-chat. Real users are easy to distinguish from spambots, so you'll get upgraded near to immediately.

I didn't want to impose such controls, but I simply do not have time to deal with a bot or useless idiot posting useless garbage in a hit and run. I apologize for the inconvenience, and if you know anybody playing these games, feel free to hit 'em upside the head with a baseball bat.

Do you have the latest wallet? You don't need it, but it does do a bit better at discovering peers. No longer needs addnodes
