Due to exterior events I need to consolidate a lot of my altcoin holdings, so I have 150k of EKN to sell.  Obviously I can dump these into the developer buy wall and get out at zero cost to myself, however I want to be sensitive to the community, and 1) not cause a panic due to a large dump, and 2) not dump on the developers so that in 5 or so days they have less BTC than necessary to fund the future development of this promising coin.

So it's you that destroyed this good ICO over price. Pffff, an you call yourself an investor?? Cannot hold more than 48 hours? WTF.

1) As mentioned I had "exterior events" which took precedent over my passion for altcoins.
2) I never called myself an "investor."
3) I only took out half the buy wall, and I even waited until only the last half was left to give people an opportunity to contact me.
4) Not sure what your problem is.

After considerable contemplation, I handled my exit in the most responsible way I knew how. This coin seems to have a bright future and a hardworking developer. I suggest you focus on those positive aspects of your own "investment," and see how you can get involved with the growth of $EKN.

We agree with your words and we could understand. However is not a little dump that will make EKN weak.

We still have to release the wallet and start mining so it's really impressive how much attention we already received. Amazing! As we posted above official launch time is now confirmed and the rise for Elektron is just begun.

It could be possibly considered a gamble.

1) The dev offered an ICO and earned 25 BTC. Some people suspected dev bought into ICO however I have seen enough users claim to buy into ICO - some people I know myself - plus I have bought a reasonable chunk of ICO myself. I can safely say that I personally know over 15 btc that bought into ICO.

2) The dev put a buy wall at 1250 (ICO price) of half of the ICO amt he had earned - 12.5 BTC. Due to dev enjoying his sunday and some investor ADD and FUD and weak hands ICO was sold into and dev now has half of supply. If dev was truly malicious dev would have pulled wall and kept his BTC. However dev believes in coin and was confident with letting go of roughly $3k USD because dev believed in his own capabilities.

3) The dev had planned for ICO to last for 2-3 weeks and never anticipated launching updates and releases from day 1. Nevertheless dev had launched webwallet which I have tested out and I can conclude it is fully functional. You can see screenshots I have taken in previous pages.

4) Dev has launched roadmap with some pretty big promises and is planning to release source code + wallet within next few days. If this was dev's first announcement and move I would be suspicious however look at the first 3 points I have made.

All in all I believe that this is an educated gamble. I am going to continue buying cheap and if we can see some materialization of roadmap then you do not know how high I will take it

I fully understand this is a gamble like any crypto coin investment, Good analysis of the coin btw. I profit from short term investments, i just dont believe in The future on many new alts that are hitting the scene, Although however i have a small buy order to punt on this

I would imagine they all go to the dev as in theory it's the dev's money as soon as people purchase the ICO.

People are still very quick to jump to the defence of dev's without knowing who they are or what they can even offer. 

I mean, look at KTK, it has some really good features and is nearly a year old, yet this one sells out in 4 hours with people defending it right away.

A bit weird, but anything goes I guess
